This is a compilation of Fast Freight Trains. All videos are from North Carolina in the United States. I know these are not the fastest freight trains in the world but they still fast here in North Carolina, plus they haul a lot of cars. All Trains Seen From the video are from 2015 to 2018 and their speeds are between 35 mph and 60 mph.

What is also great is seeing the Illinois Terminal Heritage Unit, as well as a Union Pacific Locomotive in a Norfolk Southern train.

That latter one with the two people outrunning the train intersection, it took less than two minutes for the train to pass and they decided to risk their lives for just two minutes of waiting, ridiculous 🙄

K5LA Horn. It’s manual value so when you release the horn, it lags for a bit.
Thank you for responding! Excuse my lack of knowledge but would you by chance know if one would have have to manually change/customize a k5la horn to have the manual value delayed sound?

You want to see fast .. there is a CN train that is going almost twice as fast as these trains are traveling.. search it up
CN's highest speed is no higher than the US max freight speed any Class 1 is running, 70MPH.

This was a rare train. There is military training base in southeastern North Carolina. The equipment is moved by trains which happens a couple times a year.

I would hate to live even remotely close to a rail line in North America with horns blasting all day long. Don't they have proper gates and signals at the crossings or what's the deal?
Gates at crossings are totally unnecessary. If the crossing lights are flashing red and the bell is ringing, and the loud horn is blasting, isn’t that enough to tell you to stop, a train is coming?
