Great tutorial, Joe! Wanted to let you and everyone else know as well that for connecting the little metal plates, using 3M adhesive velcro strips on the EV 50's works amazingl. You can leave them on at the end of the night, and if you ever want to remove them, they leave no trace when taking them off. Ape Labs is the way to go!

Love ape sticks. Been using them for over a year on my J8 speaker poles and behind my facade. The WAPP is the icing on the cake with any ape labs lights. Gives you full control beyond your wildest dreams. The sticks are a unique effect that certainly draws attention and compliments. In this industry being unique and fresh is key!

I’ve been using Ape Sticks and Cans for the last few months. They’ve cut down my setup and programming time, and they look killer. Just bought an Apestick Tourpack (10 pack in a charging case), and I’ve got some Ape Maxis in the pipeline. Awesome lights!

Those are actually real neons made here in Raleigh by a company called Glas Work.
Hey Joe, would 4-5 of these sticks(2.0) light up a dancefloor? Looking for a quick alternative. I use Evolve 50’s mostly.
Not sure about that. Maybe? I would also look at Astera AX1 or Chauvet STX180

UA-camr Brian Redd showed how to put the sticks on the side of the Evolve 50 speaker array itself. I was thinking of putting 2 of them on both speakers, either side of the array. Anyone have any thoughts on whether or not that would look good or be too much?
Might look cool and makes them much higher above crowd.
