Easily my fav monster tamer next to Coromon. This game has such an addictive gameplay loop. It's super easy/cheap to keep trying new teams/mons without worrying that you've invested too much time like in Pokemon.

Might be controversial, but I'd say this is better than pokemon & coromon, for a handful of reasons. While it has less creatures to choose from, you can actually choose to have them know more than 4 moves or benefit from multiple unique passive abilities. Though the elemental options are noticeably limited they aren't as restrictive, and the monsters have multiple typings letting you mix and match for unexpected synergies. Each monster can also hold 3 items, anything from stat boosters to effect augmentations to clutch rng generators if you're feeling lucky. And it's one of the only creature collector games where the combat becomes a puzzle without denying alternate playstyle strategies.
