Hello Michele and Feens. Thank you for sharing your experience in Tucson! Sadly, I only did 1 thing that one would say was "touristy" on my 2 weeks of camping there in Tucson--- it was out to the Saguaro National Park-East. I was out looking at the Tanque Verde area close by, and couldn't resist some saguaro gazing. It was stunning. The rest of my time there was checking out all of the various areas of the city to consider it for moving to. Whooaaa....50 years just to get an arm on the saguaro. That is eye opening. Many of the places I looked at would need some landscaping, to include, of course, a few saguaros. But.....now I know....they won't be grown in my life. Ah yes....my dog, Remy, got many many laps around the KOA while there! He's also a pretty good citizen, so we did many stops at that larger dog park there by the entrance.
Late to the party on this vid but I love KOA’s. I have been to many but my favorite one so far is the Santa Fe NM KOA. I loved my site and enjoyed waking up to the cooler mountain air. Had some great trees for shade and close to the shower house and lodge. Loved the location right off I-25 as well. Really enjoyed your tour of this location. Might have to check out if in the Tuscon area
@@MicheleShanklin sure thing Michele. Sante Fe is one of my favorite places to visit. Very rich in art and culture. Also great hiking nearby in the National forest just outside of town. Nice mixture of desert and mountain hiking. Taos is not bad either but the drive between Taos and Santa Fe is very pretty. A hidden gem is between Las Vegas NM and Taos and the drive between them. Main reason I got land in southern Colorado to be close to both. Are you a skier or snowboarder?
The algos brought me here. Yes im a Tucsonan, born and raised.... - cool vlog.. -You are not!! (old) u r golden bae! n seem sweet n fun. - whats your go to meal from PopEyes? - Last question whats your furrbaby's name? 😊
Well I’m happy to have you here! It’s rare to meet an Arizonan native! Hahaha I am a grandma when it comes to bedtime! I like spicy so the spicy chicken, mashed potatoes and coleslaw is my go too! Plus their honey mustard is amazing! His name is Phoenix but I call him Feens or Feeny a lot. Thanks for watching!
