The 530s are dead weight. The Super 530's superior range and speed might be advantageous if a lock can be held long enough before AMRAAMS are fired. The problem is the AMRAAMS make you go defensive very early and before you know it you're merged and within Sidewinder range. The F1 has no advantages when merged.
So true my friend. I will redo this fight with the super 530s. That being said the aim7Ms still out range the super but its closer. Im hoping to trick him and win... stay tuned!

Hahaha your on to me sir! It has been delayed a lot due to my pc issues and them getting fixed. I have begun training in thr Mirage 2000. I need a few weeks to learn it and the a month to get videos out. So probably 2 months tops. Thinking ill learn the F14 around the holidays.

What kind of range do you get out of Aim7ms at altitude? I tend to think of them as 15 nm missiles. I tend to think of Aim120Cs as 35nm missiles 😊
The Aim-7M's actually do pretty well. Tucky when I was flying against his F-15 equipped with Aim-7's was launching and getting hits at about 25 miles. So for the F-4 it would be probably 20-25 miles in ideal applications
