I'm a native British English speaker but now I'd love to be able to speak another language. I hope to improve over the next few months and I can't wait to keep you guys updated.

I have seen many comments recommending that you should learn the accent using in Spain. Personally, I don't recommend it because it's a very strong accent. It should be better for you to learn Colombian or Mexican accent, which are the accents used to dub movies for all of Latin America. I was waiting for the video of how you have progressed 😊

"Sho" is an Argentinian sound (also from Uruguay). "Yo" is the sound for the rest of spanish speaking countries.

That's a classical guitar in the background, do play it often? I suggest listening to Tarrega, Sor and Barrios. They are really good composers
I am not a Spanish speaker but I am learning the standard American accent. One of my trainers Lori is also learning Spanish and from what she told me it is hard but she is enjoying it, after all, learning a new language is an exciting journey.
This is just my opinion so don't take it as gospel but I believe you should learn the standard Spanish accent. My reason is that in Spanish or rather I should say different dialects of Spanish pronounce their words differently which means people from different parts of Spain will not be able to understand those words but everybody will be able to understand the standard form of Spanish.
Let take the UK as an example. Suppose one of your students wanted to learn English but chose to learn a Scottish accent or Glasgow accent which is fine nothing wrong with that, all people that spoke with that accent would be able to understand them but when they came down to the south of the UK no one will be able to understand them, maybe only a few people, but if they chose to learn a standard English accent then everybody regardless of whether they are from the north or south will be able to understand them.
My advice to you learn the standard Spanish accent, you can always change it later if you want, anyway just my two cents as the Americans would say.

I am told Spanish is very difficult (being a native speaker I cannot say for sure XD).

Also, 'yo soy' is pretty similar in Mexico. In Argentina (as well as some other countries from South America) they pronounce the Y as 'Sh'.

Congratulations! (¡enhorabuena!) Great idea starting learning Spanish. I would suggest, in any case, to focus on the accent from mainland Spain... don't know why... Dear Anpu, are you still learning Spanish? Let me know, please. And by the way, you should learn Spanish from Spain. It's like Spanish from Spain = British English. Spanish from Latin American countries = American English. Example: mobile = móvil (Spanish/castellano). Cell phone = celular (Hispanic latin American Spanish).
Maybe you should learn classical Latin as well?.

Is anybody here who speaks Spanish and french, are French and Spanish similar to each other? I've been learning French for 3 months, I am interested in learning Spanish too.
They have the same base of Latin. Most words are similar in french and spanish. you have silent letters in french while in spanish you mostly pronounce every letter.
Glad to know you are learning Spanish!! As a Spanish born in Madrid I strongly recommend you to learn Spanish mainland accent. Its the same with my learning english I've always preferred British over American accent, it sounds more correct. That's why I discovered your channel. The main difference between ours and the rest of Spanish accents is we are the only ones to correctly pronounce the z or c (like three in English, they all pronounce it like an S). If ever you want to practice your Spanish I am at your disposal for free.

But the thing is i have a query which is (by the way i would love to see your answer) that is it must for me or for anyone to learn all grammar when he or she can speak the language without any problem and with not quite much grammatical errors

Grammar is a really important part of learning any language. I know it can be quite a daunting task but you can try beginner exercises then move onto intermediate, then advanced. Slowly improving your grammar, such as correct verb tenses, can help you speak the language day to day without any grammatical errors.

But you know in india where i live there are a lot of grammar geeks which asks me grammatical questions for no reason
They don't really care if someone is fluent or not they just like doing this
And till now i thought that people doesn't really need to know all the grammar unless he or she wants to be an english teacher or writer
But i don't quite see people's approval on this so you know its just all confusing

Me da la risa al oírte hablar español xD. Ah, y me gustaría darte un consejo, ósea no sé si es un consejo en realidad pero, el caso es que Élite es una serie que tengo vista y da vergüenza ajena. La trama es malísima y los actores dejan mucho que desear. Por eso te quiero recomendar otra mejor (a mi parecer): Se llama "Merlí" y aunque en realidad sea catalana, también podrás encontrarla en español y no es un doblaje cutre, te lo aseguro. Entiendo lo difícil que es aprender un idioma, es decir, te acompaño en el sentimiento pues yo, por mi parte, estoy aprendiendo inglés (a través de tus videos).Te deseo buena suerte tio.
