Maker's End is the point where the story goes from "that's cool" to "holy shit!".
I'm so happy you're taking the time to pay attention to the story, nothing that pisses me off more in let's plays than people that skip over everything and then complain when they don't know what's going on. This story is so worth it, and this is the point where it really starts in my opinion. Can't wait to see more, it only gets better from here :)
there are some few. galm, masters & morons(?)....some few others azily not remembered, sorry.
agreed. *Eugh. speedrunning Scraps.*
'the complain when they don't know what's going on.'.
....
*Every casual observer towards the main omniverses of Destiny's. No care about it Lore-wise.*
*of course, the Glaring fault going to bungo more and all, etc.*
I remember watching these reveals, and finding out what Zero Dawn was. I was floored. Amazing lore
I've been looking forward to this, in my opinion this is where the story goes from good to great.
It really does , amazing story
Yep, this is the turning point.
i couldnt stop at that point!!
didnt play the game back then...just watched others play it and i just kept watching!!
i dont have a playstation...
@@cobrazax Feel u. I dont have a pc that can handle the pc version either...
@@robertbretschneider765
Really?? My pc handled it well.
U can always reduce the quality if u need to.
Undoubtedly one of the best sci-fi stories in recent memory. It's so great seeing someone experience it for their first time!
I agree I love sci-fi so much!
Such an amazing game. I loved watching the story unfold as I played. Its fun to watch you play, your personality makes the walk through that much more enjoyable.
100% agree
I have been waiting for you to get to Makers End. For me it's when I couldn't stop playing. I had to know what Zero Dawn and where Aloy came from. Also I don't know if you know this but the data points you can scan show up on your compass at the top of your screen as white blocks. Makes it easier when you are looking for stuff to scan with your focus.
Not All of such(?)....as I think I would remember.
but yes. my words of reminder you similarly shared in this already instead.
that odyssey datapoint you read IS interesting 🤔
Just FYI. According to someone at Guerilla Games the DLC is best played AFTER Maker's End. But the DLC is much more difficult. So it's really up to you. Completing the Frozen Wilds DLC will add some changes to the base game but if the story isn't as important for you then you can always complete it AFTER the main game. Also while it's possible to complete the DLC at any time before the final mission I will point out that it doesn't connect well with the main story because there is a sense of urgency.
It's also an option to complete it after the main quest ''The Grave Hoard'' but any quest beyond that doesn't seem fitting.
I would tend to agree. On the first play-through it seems most fitting to do Frozen Wilds either just before or after finishing the main story quests.
@@Elgsdyr Doing The Frozen Wilds just before finishing the main story is a bad idea because it doesn't work well with the story. The best moments are.
- After Maker's End ( as suggested by the writers of the game )
- After The Grave Hoard ( the general opinion of the community because both quests are close in proximity )
- After the main game ( if you don't care about the story/dialogue changes or if the DLC is to heard for you )
@@CarlosHuiskens I don't think it matters much story-wise as long as you're aware that it's not part of the main story but more like a spin-off off it. My concern is more about the difficulty. Some of the challenges there are harder than pretty much anything in the main game.
@@Elgsdyr That isn't entirely correct. Doing The Frozen Wilds influences dialogue in the main game. It also impacts the main game in other ways but that would be spoiling to much.
@@CarlosHuiskens Really? It's nothing I've noticed in my 2 playthroughs, so I can't imagine it being that significant.
Hi, love your playthrough! Great to see you enjoy this game so much. Loved it too. Now enjoying the sequel lots. Did you miss the power cell on top of Maker’s End? You can get it later for the best armour. Nearly everyone goes and gets that because it is so convenient. Have fun! 👍🔥😊
she has forgotten about the mango-fueling datapoint too. right before that datapoint of the 'banda sea incident'.
There's a power cell at the top of that tower
Finally, I've been waiting for you to get here for a while :D So now the first pieces are falling into place, the story is just so deep, it blew my mind so many times in both games😄🤯
The game lures you in with its amazing graphics and great gameplay... but the real treasure is the lore. That story had me gripped for good... the moment you learn what Zero Dawn really was - priceless.
I’m very eager to see how you react to what zero dawn really is
U can see boxes at the top of your HUD that slow the location of nearby datapoints.
btw some machines get armor added to them once u kill several of them.
snapmaws usually have armored blaze containers now (just like striders) so its harder to make those explode without removing the armor first.
thats why i usually just target their freeze sack and then their eyes for a quick kill with damage arrows.
btw tearblast arrows remove most components instantly so they are really useful to remove weapons from machines.
nice fight with the rockbreakers! ravager cannons are really awesome and annihilate anything with ease.
without them i usually just freeze rockbreakers then target their exhaust port with damage arrows for a quick kill.
also make sure u collect all loot! u can sell everything for a LOT of money!
if u got no merchant nearby, u can use the disassemble skill at the top right to get 50% of the value of items, immediately without a merchant!
u should really also use more heavy attacks. they are devastating, and a few of those can knock down most machines!!
the guy u saved gave u a reward box when u approached him!
yes i think this game on PC works much better...i dont have a playstation anyway.
if you want to tie down machines, u need to hit them with multiple ropes, not one. same as with fire arrows.
damaging tied machines will release them faster though...so its usually better to use it to remove them from combat, or to get a good accurate and deadly shot.
u also missed a small recording at the place where Ersa was found...its not critical but it can help you understand your enemy.
Maker's end is worth things really pick up in that game you get a ton of information that for a lot of first-time players is mind blowing
You can just shoot the alarm in a bandit camp, no need to get close. )
Maker's End! My fav part of the lore, I think. Sooo many revelations!
Well, she likes to be fashionably late.
Sylens is a pain in the butt(you will learn a far bit of lore as the game progresses from him), and Ted Faro is the biggest "D" ever in a video game. Loved the look on your face when the door opened for Aloy. Then thinking the poor girls is about to have a huge lore drop. She is going to love it.
I wouldn't advise starting the dlc until after you've discovered what project zero dawn is
Actually in terms of story someone at Guerilla Games adviced doing the DLC AFTER Maker's End.
@@CarlosHuiskens Eh that's possible too but I just personally recommend this
While I have yet to finish the video, I have to say the arrow antics so far are on point🤭 That first EXCUSE ME! Had me laughing so much 🤣 😂
Absolutely loved this game and now love the second one.
I had played zero dawn for 4 years fully completed just loved playing it.
Just wait till you find out more. Story and game so good!
I had the exact same problem getting to that side quest in Meridian
If your close to a data point, you can see it on the compass at the top of the screen.
Best story in any game EVER! I adore Zero Dawn, even more than Forbidden West.
Not animals. Biomatter. Everything bio. Animals, plants... and guess...
1:15:00 the whole conversation it’s nil I’ve never heard before and I have almost 700hrs in the game!! 😂 made me giggle so much haha
Side mission in Meridian is up the stairs and over the bridge 😏
Lmao yeah I found it I was so lost trying to figure out how to get to it
Never before have I felt so much hate for a fictional character since Ted Faro! And things are gonna get worse, MUCH worse!!! .... Enjoy! 😋👍
Great story!
This is were the story gets really good.
01:19:11 you can climb up there and find another energy cell for the tec armor you found in the beginning of the game
Up the tower there is a battery for the armory.
This Map is cluttered with stuff! The Game has so much to offer, this is crazy I won’t to know more! Lol 🤗
Actually the cluttered map is one of the negatives. For example the map is overflowing with fast travel bonfires that don't need to be there. Some bonfires are just a few meters apart.
I have just got Horizon Forbidden West my brother got me a copy of it I am so thankful for him and i will support your channel 100% my bday next Monday I hope you can do more streams into the future I hope you get to 20K Subscribers
There has been talk of Boston Dynamics Big Dog being outfitted with guns.
oh god thats scary!
That quest in Meridian that you can't seem to find, you can get it, all I'll tell you is look for stairs to the upper area.
Lmao yeah I found it in the next one!
@@TheSunQueen Been hoping you would, was holding off the stairs hint for a few videos hoping you would find it naturally. Looking forward to the next one!
I got destroyed by a Rockbreaker today and I was just minding my own business. I didn't have a Ravager Cannon on hand though.
A las maquinas con depositos de liquido inlamable siempre fuego.
Now I want a Focus
I see I am not the only person who thinks Ted Faro and Erend sound like the same person lol.
On to NORAD!
please tell me you didnt just dive off it but climbed up further before you did
Grey Goo scenario.
u missed a datapoint at 1:10:51.
you also didnt collect loot from the deathbringer.
u also didnt read the other text logs that Sylens gave to u.
u missed a hidden secret at the very top of that tower...
Yes I’m not perfect this is a playthrough not a walkthrough I try to do my best but I will miss things and forget things…
@@TheSunQueen
i know...but we are here to help u with those 😊
This is just the start of the insanity. Wait for the answer to what Zero Dawn really is. Also, you missed your second power cell. The first one was back in Mother's Heart under the mountain, easy to miss. If you want this second one go back to the top of Maker's End where you watched the holograms, then keep going up. One last question: will you be doing the Frozen Wilds DLC?
Aloy's comment about those Faro robots being made for war and not peace has actual meaning to our own society. Even a simple 9MM Gun can be considered a weapon of war made to keep the peace. But at the same time this also is true for Aloy's Spear or Bow.
I'm not done with this one yet but you missed a few data points that the mysterious voice sent you. If there is a exclamation point on it, you haven't yet read it. I hope you read them. :)
When the games title finally began to make sense I was very heartbroken and depressed. Before I just thought it was a fancy title that served an aesthetic/marketing purpose. No real meaning. But no it actually serves an extreme purpose in the plot and one of the smartest but bleakest takes on the apocalypse. Even worse than The Last of Us. My heart dropped…
Go all the way to the top to get a power cell
lmao i gotta pick up alot of them
@@TheSunQueen Only 5 but 1 is right at the top above where the Hologram of Elizabet and Ted talk.
To add a bit on my previous comment. The DLC area is considered a level 30 quest. So technically you should be able to do it.
yeah i was thinking of doing soon!
@@TheSunQueen Just keep in mind what I mentioned in my previous comment. The DLC doesn't mesh well with the overal story depending on when you play it. So if you're really enjoying an immersive story I would heavily suggest playing it after Maker's End ( which is the quest you did in this quest ) or The Grave Hoard which is the upcoming main quest. Or you can play it after the main game.
i was thinking of playing it after grave hoard since its really close to it!
@@TheSunQueen I did some extra digging for you. The writers of Horizon Zero Dawn suggest doing it before The Grave Hoard but overal community response feels that right after is also a good option. So either option is good!
@@TheSunQueen Based on difficulty I'd postpone it for later. Some of the challenges there are significantly harder than the main game.
My mother's name is Elizabeth. 😍
His name means nothing.
Awesome videos Sun Queen you're very beautiful and awesome have a peace loving rest of your Saturday thank you so much for streaming peace out ✌️✌️😍😍
If you could just put every other thing in your world on hold and only publish HZD videos, that would be great. Mmmm K?
lmfao
Probably late to this but wanted to summarize the info, so yeah the FARO war machines or “peacekeepers” use regular combustion fuel. When that runs out, they use biological substance as fuel, so not just dolphins. Anything from animals, to plants, trees, flowers, insects, and humans. These war machines were part of the “chariot” series which consisted of 3 different machine types. Scarabs had the ability to repair and corrupt any machine and hack any security system, khopesh (death bringers) were the main heavy weapons, and finally the horus (metal devils) where massive tentacle like machines that were basically Mobile defensive factories able to even make more of themselves and penetrate any fortified objects with its tendril drills and appendages. They couldn’t be shut down because Ted Faro, ceo of the company that made the war machines, ordered his engineers that to make the chariot line absolutely un- hackable, no back doors or shortcuts in the code for even himself or his team, no exception, I’m big boss, so shut up or get fired. It was the latest in coding, using a hi tech code system decades above any competing tech. Sadly, a chariot line war machine group “glitched”, refusing to follow commands, probably attacking all in sight, and absorbing bio mass fuel (all living things in the vicinity) while it continued to replicate itself exponentially. The ruins explored in this episode, is the FARO corp central building
The Deathbringer was only easy because you safed it.
That particular death ringer is crippled, constantly overheating, and can’t move. It’s pretty easy no matter how you approach it.
@@mattr7994 True but she wasn't able to get the full effect of a Deathbringer like if she had walked straight up to it head on.
*Mammon Unfortunately.* (00:56:01).
