Hey Queen, since you seem to love to read the lore i would highly recommend you find the lore Journal that details the Forbidden West, its near the water at the Lake on the Shadow Carja side. Its a good read. Also friendly reminder about finding BRIN and those VANTAGE Points , they are worth it, trust me! Happy Hunting!

"Why do I only get like three shots and have to craft more arrows?" Because you still need to upgrade your quivers and pouches! Still! At the end of the game!
And you have more weapons than just that bow. The Icerail would have made the fights with the Fireclaws a lot easier. Freeze them, make them brittle, then blast bomb them to hell. Shock arrows or bombs to their power pack on their butts create a nice boom that stuns them. The last Fireclaw with the Tramplers is a good place for corruption arrows. Get all the Tramplers fighting each other and the Fireclaw. They do most of the work for you.
And are you going to collect the metal flowers and other stuff? You can trade them for some good stuff. But you'll have to sell all the crap you're hoarding.

Been watching your rdr and a lot of your zero dawn gameplay lately, very entertaining. Can't for the final and then forbidden west. Keep up the good work
For anyone struggling with Fireclaws ... get behind it, shoot the canisters on its bum with shock arrows, whilst on the ground throw a few sticky bombs on the beast and then shoot off the shoulder pads with precision arrows. Repeat twice and then go for the chest plate ... it'll explode when you hit the shoulders removing an attack method and also when the chest explodes (fire in both cases so get a little distance before you hit it). You can also hit its legs as you go under it with R1 but that gets tricky
I subscribed to your channel when you started this journey, and it's been awesome watching you go through it. I highly enjoy how you read the datapoints and are interested in the lore. So many people skip over all that stuff. You've become one of my favorite gamers to watch. I hope you do Forbidden West also!
You need to find Brin and do his side quest. He is definitely one of the most interesting side characters
Edit: I keep forgetting Brin is extremely easy to miss, since he is the only side quest character without a map marker. He can be found near the campfire directly west to the Sun-Steps Tallneck.

Collect the Blue Gleam to upgrade your weapons, there's a map at the vendors. Charge your bow at range, those arrows go a very long way.
I'm happy to see you taking your time and doing everything you can, all the side quests add so much to the whole experience. And if you think there's a lot to do in this game, just wait until you see Forbidden West :D
If you add a good handling coil to that powershot bow your load and draw times will be quicker, and the aim will be better. Also, the striker bow is the best in the game imho, so fast to load three arrows and draw powered up shots quick...esp with good damage and handling coils! Loving the game play...regardless of the weapon you use, I enjoy watching you play! :D
Use tear blast arrows to rip weapons off the machines. If you use normal arrows you (9 times out of 10) destroy the weapon as you tear it off, hence why you couldn't find the Ravager cannon or the Scorcher mine launcher. The tear blast arrows tear the weapon off intact so you can use them. The tear blast arrows are useless for anything else but great for removing all the weapons off something and using them for yourself.
I don't think normal arrows destroy components or weapons. Only blast damage does that. Least, as far as I can remember. It's the same in FW as well. It just breaks off significantly easier with tearblast.
@@Ariastyr they definitely can destroy them. Depends on the damage to tear ratio and the hits you get. If you have arrows with a high tear rate then you can sometimes knock them off without destroying the cannon/launcher but if you really want to use it then tear arrows are guaranteed to not destroy it.
I can't believe you can talk in the middle of a fight. For me it would be like rubbing my belly and patting my head at the same time.

Looks like out of seer curiosity you found the quests i was hinting towards, nice going Sun queen.
what isn't nice is how you used your weapons this video. Sharp shot bows are for distance only unless you want to use a tearblast arrow, so its no wounder you had trouble with the Fireclaws (and yes Fireclaws are a different machine than Frostclaws)
I admit you doing fairly well Sun Queen, but even this late into the game you still don't understand the benefits of changing weapons and ammo to fit the current need. you could be using fire arrows on the green blaze canisters to make explosions, frost arrows on the light blue chillwater vessels to cause frost clouds, or shock arrows on the dark blue sparkers to make an electric shockwave. you could even be using bombs from an elemental sling to weaken and/or stun machines before hitting there weak points.
You did well with the sticky bombs the video, but those are only the tip of the iceberg that is Horizons combat. speaking of which, the reason you lost the cannon you tried to shoot off is because, while you never noticed before, the arrows you default to (hard point arrows) are meant to be used for removing machine parts, the sharp shot you were using then was for damage, thus you destroyed the cannon instead of detaching it, something to keep in mind.

when she is fighting the fireclaws im like why is she not using her traps to stagger and slow them down.
u need to boost the damage AND the handling of the powershot bow so it wouldnt take too long to get a full draw.
it does INSANE damage at full draw. to use it effectively, u should mostly charge TRIPLE SHOTS and not single shots.
ideally use it when the machine is frozen. it will take TRIPLE damage AND its armor wouldnt block ANY arrows!
vs weakspots it can be devastating...like the eyes.

It's been a while since I've played this game, but I think that bow is for sniping where you have time to charge. I've noticed though that you prefer up close and live dangerous.
I'm more of a fire from a distance and leg it.
There's no need to leg it though. Simply use freeze Arrows to for the added damage, tie down the machine with the ropecaster, Triple percision arrow's and shoot at the weak spots. You can take down pretty much every machine easily this way.
You can make vulnerable spots bigger on some larger enemies by using tear arrows. When you are removing their weapons to use for yourself, you better use the correct arrow type as well... Try freezing enemies vunerable to freeze? Combat in HZD is both skill (which you have) and technique (in which you scrape by)!
Really enjoyed your 5 Fireclaws and this one, finally seeing you loose it and swearing like crazy was just how I felt fighting these things, I lost it too, Watched everyone of yor HZD episodes and will watch yor HFW next, can't wait for final battle, I did final battle before the DLC, it will be easier after DLC for you. I know this is a year too late 😂 but it pains me that you never use the right arrows to shoot the canister things on their backs. On some you gotta use fire arrows and some you gotta use shock arrows or freeze arrows and it causes an explosion. Also you should use coruption arrows when there is more than 2 enemy you gotta fight so they can fight each other and do the work for you.
You shouldve also uograde all your pouches so you wont have to keep reloading so often. And add more handling to your bow to make it shoot faster.
You also shouldve gotten the sling that shoots ice because that works really good on the tougher enemies like the bear things to slow them way down.
Theres a lot more i wanna say but it doesnt matter cuz its been a year lol
