We just went live 7/3 and have booked 10 reservations as of today 8/2! 🤜🏻 🥳 I think that’s pretty good. We aren’t newbies but this is a brand new listing as we sold our other place to be closer to the big lake here. Many opportunities for guests to swim two doors away and with their dogs too.
I’m super new, trying to get my first rental! It’s a remote adventure location deep up a river by boat only, in the residential area of a river delta in Buenos Aires. My first rental came during a recovery after a minor hurricane took out power for 4 weeks! Since then, all I know to do is ask my friends who are host admins to get people to rent my space to get my first reviews. Since we don’t offer in person hosting, it falls short of an “experience” and yet is far enough away to be considered an adventure tourism site. We run boutique art events in the house during most months, but between events, the beautiful house stays empty!
Yes - As they say in real estate, Buyers are Liars. So, ask away and read between the lines. Ask follow-up questions too. Red Flags: Destination Weddings, Booking Guest not actually staying at property, Couples Under 30, and Kids outnumber Adults to name some.
@@AirbnbUncovered everythings good. Just picking up on information before I start co-hosting. Looking for the best advice and most important advice I can get to start.
I am new!! Just went live! Thanks for all of your content!
You are welcome!
I went live and first day have new guest and 2 more scheduled.
Excellent! Did you choose the 20% new host discount? You want to make sure you keep getting bookings after your first 3.
We should be lunching our airbnb in June
Great! Whereabouts?

Yup, new to short term rentals but have owned long term rentals for over 4 decades.
Great! Hope it goes well for you.
I didn't see the pop up i in the video to the video about how to stage a house, could you check it or link it in a comment?
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look into why that little "i" didn't show up. The link is here - ua-cam.com/video/qQ8aAJniK7g/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
