Although most ppl from Mexico consider themselves “Indigenous” Instead of “Native,” it’s all the same. Feel proud of where you come from. Fuck the rest!
Powerful piece. Nice work.Russell Means was a remarkable man. As a kid, I was taught to respect and love ALL cultures because there is something to learn from everyone. It would be nice if some people, primarily the government, practiced what they preached and honored the treaties. Both you and Frank Waln have provided food for thought. Keep preaching the message...
This song is AWESOME!!! Rappers now these days need to rap about real issues with meaning. Not garbage that talks about sex, drugs, and alcohol. Say something that is encouraging and positive. Get your minds out the gutter.
I remember painting a shipping container over the summer with my long blond hair. Waas like dang I feel like the guy in the radical music video. Thanks for your music! Freeing mind from extinction is beautiful. The story goes....
American presidents never favoured me, someone should tell Nataanii Means that the Dead Presidents is also the name of a bank robber hang, see how that works, the man is from the Nation Of Islam
Ive spent a lot of time in super radical spaces over the past few years, learned my place as a white person but also realized that as a tribal member I have a duty to not let the culture and our stories die. On the reservation of my tribe everyone there is white or black, but they are thriving and strong still. The blood itself is thinning but Im doing my best to learn about my ancestors and coming to terms with the fact that Im a product of the boarding schools, genocide and rape. It started with a Tribe Called Red clip I saw on Facebook a couple years ago, it left me in tears and I couldnt explain why. Listened to Prolific's Black Snake, then I found Nataanii Means, Red Eagle, Drezus, and Northern Cree. Right now I'm reading Where White Men Fear to Tread by the great Russell Means. The lyrics to songs by Nataani and Red Eagle strike a bit of a deeper chord now. Call me out if I sound like a shitty "Cherokee Princess" type. Its kind of a fucked up cognitive dissonance because I dont want to seem appropriative and Ive never experienced racism or lived on the res but my mom and grandmother have told me their stories about it. Anyway I feel a lot of intense shit when it comes to native music. It could be epigenetics or my grandmothers spirit but all I know is that I feel it down to my fucking bones.
I love the good people of every race! Us good people must stand together in the name of GOD to force our Government to make the wrongs right thats been done to the Native Indians & The Africans that was taken by force to this land! GOD is watching and waiting for the good people to stand up!
On my rez… they support ‘others’ burning shit, protesting & stating their beliefs. The moment i suggested we do the same… i was called the big T or A! love ur dad and ur music. I felt alone until i heard russell means speeches & ur tunes! Thank u!
It started to listen to your music because I saw your name Natanii my G-Baby is Natannii Fox we are a proud Mexican and some Native American. I really enjoyed your music 🎶 😊
om ' anam Nataanii. Russell is a large part of my life. Everyday our family listens to him. And you, Nataanii :) great song.. to russell i wish i didnt show up at the table so late. i hope we can all wake up an want to Live again. Ni Neart go cur le cheile. (in irish; there is no strength without Unity) RIP Russell and thank you for guiding me everyday.
I feel your words really deeply. I remember my Mom telling me many years ago while we were watching "The Last of the Mohicans" that she had met Russell many years ago, I always thought that was awesome...I didn't know too much about his major roles in AIM and just being a badass speaking the truth until recently and I too hope its not too late. I truly believe his spirit is among many that are growing increasingly anxious with the current state of affairs and are helping ignite the flames of millions all over. I pray the next steps through this mess come clearly and that there is still hope :(
I would love to hear a song of the SON of the Creator with all spoken words of SON from every native language!... Then the Creator's SON may reveal this most Special People to the world as he Created them!! I pray! wtih my friend forever alive Kateri Tekawitha.
May I translate a portion of this into Spanish to share with Spanish speaking native community/my family? Thank you for sharing your words are powerful

Native Americans have been placed on reservations so they may perish. However, the fact that many Native nations exist today is a testament to these peoples resilience.
We need more indigenous rappers, music period! STAN!
If my kids are going to listen to rap as I did as a youth, I am so happy it is about Native issues, history and pride. Keep the braids long!

Hip hop is the music of the oppressed.
+Anibal Delgadillo
Just heavy weights and food.
+Anibal Delgadillo Hip Hop is the "music" of the poor, dump and uneducated people! Hip Hop makes ill!
+SaskiasaChristkind But I don't want to say that poor means that you are dump. These are two different points!
