- I posted my last Jo & Alex video 4 months ago, I wrote how I couldn't wait for their story to grow and develop becoming even stronger in season 16 unaware to anyone a month later Alex had, had his final scene.
I'm so devastated that not only haven't we got a proper goodbye, but the storyline they are coming up with for Alexs exit is complete BS, Alex Karev would never ghost his wife (or Meredith).
I am going to miss these two so much, Alex & Jo have been through so much together and bring out the best in one another, their story feels so unfinished they had only just started life as a married couple they had so much more story to tell, they deserved to live a happy life and have a family.
They have so many great scenes together that i couldn't fit them all into just one video, so i am working on a 2nd Jo and Alex Tribute video.

Honestly the writers found the worst way to end Alex’s story arc. Leaving his wife just doesn’t make sense I wish they had just killed the character off.
The part of his leaving that pisses me of the most is in episode 16x16 there’s a shot of Alex in bed with izzie and the kids which is the biggest slap in the face cause Alex would never cheat on Jo and it’s absolutely awful that the writers would make him a cheater after all of the development he went through!! 😔
I'm just crying, because these two were my favorite GA couple, and as tragic as it would be, Alex has to die, in order to not mess up his development. Alex would have been the greatest dad to their future kids, but now we'll never see him become a dad. I'm devestated that we'll likely never see them buy a house, start a family and grow old together. To see these two broken people heal eachother and get the family that neither of them got to have growing up. I refuse to believe that Alex would actually ghost Jo (and Mer to some degree). I think he'll get killed off, and they'll explain it that someone had his phone after he died. I'm sad that we'll likely never see Jo smile like that again, because she had a smile resvered only for Alex. I completely understand and respect why Justin left, but it's still sad. The best thing they can do for Jo would be for her to discover that she's pregnant with Alex's baby, because that would give her a reason not to go back to her dark place. Mer would help her out. Then further down the road, she could take on a peds fellowship, as a way to keep his legacy alive. BTW please do more GA videos. Maybe a Mer/Jo friendship video.

Gorgeous tribute!! I ship them so hard and am so sad they are over and especially in the way they suddenly are. I just finished my own fanvideo about them and now I just want to keep exploring all their other scenes I'd forgotten about and revisiting them and idk. It's such a bad time to feel newly into the ship but thanks for this amazing video, and I'll check out your others when I can!
