Please react to the whole album, I promise you guys will freaking love it!! Such a cool album, cool riffs, Robert's bass is very prominent, James does something cool on each song vocally, Lars creates a nice groovy pocket, everything about this album is awesome!! I'm obsessed with this album, been listening to it all day every day since it dropped!!
@@kristaspechturprised you haven’t heard about it. they put out so much singles out of it that it killed the hype but it’s a good album but if darkness had a son Is one of the worst Metallica songs and is so boring
I love that this album is soo reflective, it gives an "old man reflecting on life" vibe and it's awesome. Even better is the fact that James is delivering his best vocal performances of his entire career on this album, I personally rate 72 Seasons a 9.5 out of 10! Best Metallica album in decades!! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Yes! I was really hoping you guys would check out new Metallica, y'all gotta check out "Inamorata", Chasing Light", or "You Must Burn!". Best songs on the album for me personally, this entire album is incredible!!! Great reaction as usual guys, I'm soo hyped right now!! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
My favorite songs are Room of Mirrors, Shadows Follow, Too Far Gone, Crown of Barbed Wire, and this... but the list of songs are growing everytime I listen. It's a good sign when different people have different favorite songs, cause this album is pretty damn consistently awesome! Only song I'm not that fond of is Sleepwalk My Life Away.
Jesus I love you guys. Definitely one of the coolest songs on the album. As I’ve said before, James is just in a class all his own. So imposing, tall and holds the crowd in his hand. Great reaction as always. Keep it up!!! How’s about reacting to Volbeat- Cheapside Sloggers? Thanks guys!!!
You can tell they worked together well when writing the album and best of all, you can tell they had FUN on this album!! The riffs on this album are awesome and James's vocals are the best of his entire career imo! 72 Seasons tops Death Magnetic and Hardwired for me, and that's saying a lot because I freaking love those albums! They knocked it out of the park with this album!! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Metallica proving once again they are no where near done yet! The songs on this album are very reflective of their youth which a lot of us old folks can relate to. Lol. The beginning of song is completely old metal. Reminds me of Motörhead.
Recently began listening to this album and it is amazing. The riffs, James vocals sound fantastic and even Lars does amazing IMO. Great reaction, keep it going! Also, please react to more Deftones y’all
72 Seasons is the first 18 yrs of all of our lives but I think it’s more about James’ first 18 yrs of his life and how life changes a person and drawn in so many directions that he had to figure out himself because that gets carried over into his adult life. Perspectives of life he experienced and how it shaped, molded and the undoing of things in life to grow and get rid of things that got you nowhere. The first 18 yrs of anyone’s life is filled with life experiences and what we take with us, what we found to be useless and what we have learned from it. Maybe I’m reading too much into the meaning but that’s what I got from it. Damn good song and the entire album is damn good! Peace! - Gene A.
Metallica is the one of the most influential metal bands in metal history with James awesome lead vocals and rhythm guitar skills and kirk lead guitar playing and awesome guitar solos and Lars crazy drumming skills and that what makes Metallica great
I was thinking about you guys the other day when I watched an interview with James and he was asked about his “yeahs”. He said he yells that when he is pumped and just has no words.
James and Kirk used to be way into skating back in the 80's. They even had their own decks with Pushead art on them. James broke his wrist at least once, if not twice, on tour while skating. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I've read that Metallica's management came down and said no more skate boarding since it cost them some shows.
Great reaction, you should react to the another Metallica's songs: Shadow Follow, Chasing Light, Room of Mirrors, If Darkness Has a Son, Too Far Gone.. Inamorata..
72 seasons- first 18 years of one’s life that form you. James actually sounds better now then he ever has! I can pick up on what these songs mean because I grew up a the same time as they did and knowing a good bit about James’ life it just comes to me. Lux eterna is about being at a live show
72 Seasons is about the first 18 years of your life, and how those years shape the way that you are going to be for the rest of your life... It's an amazing new album, that fulffil everyone's expectations... Fats, mean and one of Hetfield's best voice works ever.

This album is great in that they made most of it during through the pandemic. They all did their parts, for the most part, in their own studio at home. This song is the title track , (obviously) about James first 18 years of his life, which were dominated by his parents. They were extremely religious and tried to control everything he did , and how he lived his life. A lot of Metallica's songs are about James home life growing up, and his parents divorced, and his dad left them, and his mom died of cance,. Which definitely had a profound effect on his life. James went through a lot of turmoil growing up, which led him to all kinds of bad shit, but luckily for him, and us, it turned him into an amazing musician and song writer, and the greatest band ever!!!

I also do think a balad would have suited this album, but its not making the album weak that it isnt there, well you kind of get to accept the sound of the songs, , and epreciate them as they are, after some listens.. after all this listenings this album have become the best album for me since the Black album at least, well done METALLICA!!
