Zanes interview skills are crazy 💜💜💜. And both amine and kaytra are such amazing talents and wholesome dudes with their character. They’re humble yet confident. And gracious.
Great to see Portland get some shine! We been needing it. Thanks for paving the way Amine and Kay for artist like myself we tryna shoot for the stars like ya'll!
It's enough we have two guests and Zane Lowe, so it begs the question: why the additional staff in the background? Too many cooks in the studio, folks, Zane's got this.
To me this explains a lot I will be honest I was expecting kaytranada to do his normal thing and amine rapping on it but for them trying to do more of a hip hop album and going back listening to it like ok this album is alot better I dig it 👏👏👏
The album cover had me thinking it would be the most summer vibes ever. But it was heavy rap beats, not there was anything wrong with it. But the summer vibes didn't live up to my expectations. Still a fire album tho
@@nonealike nah the album was just a little middle of the road. I personally like it but I wouldnt argue with anyone who says they find it underwhelming. What's there to argue about
I think Zane asked a few too many questions about their collaborators, rather than breaking down the relationship between the two. I want to hear how Aminé went from asking Kay for free beats to collaborating with him, I don’t really care to hear what it was like working with Big Sean
I absolutely love Kaytranada but I was pretty disappointed with this record. They hyped us up so much as a summer dance album and 4EVA really lived up to that and is a great track. The rest just felt like it would fit on a Drake album not a Kaytra album…
@@yonaga5993Yes. He talks a lot and feels super rehearsed at times. I also feel like he does too much leading of his interviewees in directions that they may not naturally go. For example, when he went on his Pharrell fan-boying mid-interview instead of just asking, "How did the Pharrell collab come about?" or "What impact has Pharrell had on you?" or like the, "Ppl call Big Sean 'underrated'..." line, which was supposed to go where exactly?
@@jtali6122 that's his approach to trying to keep the conversation from having too many pauses . The interviewee will naturally respond by rolling with the punches and taking jabs at the flow of shxt . . . Zane has a background in electronic music and radio out East is filled with fast-speakin' muh'fxckrs . That's juss what he comes from . . .
Kaytranada got that producer posture.
As a producer, I can confirm
the way his arms in that chair 💀
True
Uncomfortable stiff shoulders
It doesn't make sense but at the same time it does 😂
I’m obsessed with kaytramine. I’m already ready for a new album. I hope to god they tour together
I've got good news and bad news lol
"enthusiasm is infectious but execusion is challenging"
I'm a year into the future, but I like that someone else found that quote memorable

he's levelling whilst interviewing too!
I just said this in my mind how great Zanes is as an interviewer
Great to see Portland get some shine! We been needing it. Thanks for paving the way Amine and Kay for artist like myself we tryna shoot for the stars like ya'll!

That pre amp on their vocals thooooo
Two Legends
first things first, shoutout to the video editing team.
Kaytranada is to today's music what David Morales was to the inception of dance… Would love to see a collab here.
Zane is one of the best to interview people
‼️🙌🏾 SOLD OUT DATES 🙌🏾‼️
would love to see westside gunn on a kaytra beat!!!
Love the two of them!!
Love them 👏🏾
This album was great, they just gotta keep going.

Does anybody know what microphone they are using ?
I hope someone answers. I’d like to know myself as well!
album is dope. don't know what some of these people yappin about

they're hot

whyd that guy yell when he said IDK's name lol
The album was solid. A few misses and a lil underwhelming but it still was good.
I feel like I’m the only one out here that sadly didn’t enjoy it
@@rowanchavez4109 tuff.
okay cool but where's Danny and Peggy................
Zane Loves to interrupt.. but he has great guests so I’ll ignore it.. again lol
U NO WO AMINÉ)
🎲🐍🎲
Why Zane the only one using professional headphones
Love them but the album was a bit underwhelming I know they’ll bounce back though
That’s bc you expected it to sound like their previous works. What did Hov say 🤔. You want his old ish, go listen to his old albums.
album is mid
@@sanctipaprichio Quick, name a hot album.
If ya’ll expected more of 4EVA then gtfoh. Those tracks are a dime a dozen but hey, different strokes

I care
Can someone tell me why there's other people in that room that just sit and watching its look kinda awkward to me
U kno wata mean
amine looks tired af, damn my boy.. i feel you
Kay and amine got really big deal doing this with appel wow ehh they need to put a bit of more energie on filming clip pr sceanario
why is the lips not syncing bro😭😭
Zane talks a lil too much

This interviewer is just saying words man. Why can’t he speak normally
I can't explain it but Zane Lowe is annoying. It's just something about him.
Is it way he speaks? Like his vocabulary & how he asks questions/responds?

. was gonna disagree bt sadly u made a grt point at th nd- zane has his pros tho. honest guy as well it seems^
Who are they? 🤔
Amine used to be about his health then he became a pothead 😢
He still prioritises his greens . . . 😂
I assume he smokes natural sungrown seeded cannabis
But yeah - health is good ✌🏽 hope he is well
Bro Aminé ruined the Kaytranada vibes
Why do you think so?
Why care bout the album. Satan wants to kill us
Now I want more Kaytranada collabs
