I just came to the UK for six months and I’m going to be driving a lot, I’m fully confident driving in the USA, but I was worried about driving over here, because I saw how many roundabouts and the very narrow roads. Driving TV sorry for the late reply I’ve been putting your advice to work :) my driving is so much smoother now I honestly don’t worry as much! I told my instructor about you and she said your roundabout method is great and old school as that is how she teaches and she’s been doing this for a long time (she’s in her 50s) Honestly I can not criticise anything. I have just been looking through your videos and I can’t think of any positive criticism really as they have all helped me 100% I’d give the channel 5 out of 5

I want to know how can I tell when to turn left and when I have reached a 45 degrees angle and how to tell from the mirrors if I have straightened up correctly and not to near or far from the kerb. Cool videos! I'm watching all your videos from your first one and all loving it so far. I have a question regarding what you said about waving a thank you to oncoming vehicle for stopping to let us pass. During the exam, are we allowed to wave? Would the examiners approve if we remove 1 hand from the steering wheel to wave? I know it's just a second, but I was told that both hands must be on the steering wheel all the time during exam, unless the car is stopped?
I know this question was asked years ago but I wanted to answer anyway to help anyone reading this. Both hands must be on the steering. He explained how to do this carefully in another video. Since steering is the push and pull method, we slide the left hand above the steering and gently wave without removing it from the steering. he further says using the right hand might be blocked by the front side screen (the other driver will not see) so he advised using the left hand. Hope this helps someone.
There were car parked both side but on coming traffic didn’t stop I had to stop, another road there was space on other but my side was parked car but the opposite side car he didn’t want to move his side of the gap and was standing middle of the road I couldn’t move.. lastly he forced him to move the gap from his side and he was showing me that I am wrong and my examiner gave me serious fault and fail me.. so in this kind of situation what need to do as the opposite car was not helpful…
