GREAT comments all 800+ WOW!! Remember, Phase 2 began 2 November and will continue thru the winter, so I'll have the first Phase 2 update around 15 Nov. I'll also cover the Secant wall, Emergency Spillway, relocation of the power lines and other costs. We should also have the final Forensics Report on the original failure out later this month as well. We'll keep track of the weather and water levels too. Plenty of other stuff in the meantime...stay tuned! Juan Browne 6 Nov.
blancolirio your dedication through the whole event was amazing, thank you for putting all the hard work during this entire situation to keep people updated! Looking forward on whats to come next :)
I share your videos with anyone who'll let me. I normally start with "this happened ua-cam.com/video/1Yk_FJQKh4Y/v-deo.html then a fantastic journalist emerged from the mele", I then start them off with ua-cam.com/video/jIzldNLv8ww/v-deo.html then some background & finish with this video (some people won't watch 70ish videos, after the fact). I am incredibly appreciative of your calm & factual reporting, and really insightful reviews of static pictures & video, and really clear explainations of exactly what the problems are - it's a huge difference from the mainstream media & I love you for it.
Juan, your coverage of the Oroville Dam spillway failure and reconstruction has been without peer! You definitely earned the award you received for your reportage, and you deserve thanks from all of us remote watchers, for giving us the straight, honest, no drama, no panic scoop. While following your Oroville coverage, I became a fan of your other youtube offerings as well; a very enjoyable and entertaining bonus!
Hi Juan, Thank you for the months of excellent, in-depth, intelligent and nonsensational reporting as the unfolding near catastrophe was managed and finally repaired...thank you for taking us up in the "Mighty Luscombe" for bird's eye views from start to finish, and thank you and Pete and Julianne and Jenny for welcoming us all into your family! Not only did we benefit from your consistently well researched questions to the DWR and answers and explanations on so much technical data throughout the whole process, but we got to hang out with your wonderful family, too...I think I'm going to miss Pete and Julianne popping in and out of your updates, and a simple 'Thank you' just doesn't seem enough for the reassurance and information you've shared since February 2017...but Thank you just the same!
Thank you for a long rebuild project video.Great to listen to someone who knows what they are talking about.I have watched everyone you have posted on Oroville with great interest.
Me too, from the other side of the pond i thank you, very informative, level headed and boy you put some of the news channels to shame ! You sir are exactly the kind of person that makes YT great !
Juan, I stumbled on to your channel accidentally back in February of 2017, when I was searching for info on the Oroville Dam. I am now a subscriber and appreciate (and look forward), your reports. The way you explain things in your videos is comprehensive and easy to understand. Thanks again for all you do. Roger (from Lake County)
What an accomplishment! Juan, you have done outstanding work and coverage of this story! Your award is certainly deserved. I've followed the story closely since the original incident. I became a Dam Addict!! LOL! Cheers, and Thanks!!
Great job Juan! Your reporting on Phase 1 of the Orville Dam and spillway reconstruction has been an amazing journey to watch. With your flights over the Dam and your access to the Dam itself, the coverage is unparreled in the media world. And you other stories are now a part of my UA-cam content that I look forward to everytime your upload a video. Again thank you!
Mr. Brown, as a former Sacramento area resident (40 years ago) I have enjoyed and appreciated your coverage of the spillway repair effort, and will continue to follow your Phase 2 updates. Your knowledge and research have been enlightening, so thank you for your coverage of this disaster and recovery effort.
Congratulations on a well deserved award for your sterling journalism concerning the Oroville Dam disaster and spillway rebuild. I learned SO much and because of your reporting had a great sense of empathy for the other Californians suffering to the North of me. Thank you. I look forward to continuing to follow - and to learn from - you and your family's adventures.
Hi Juan, My wife and I live in Cape Cod, MA and we watched and enjoyed every video you made about the Oroville Dam. Congrats on the award! The construction crew did an amazing job also.
As many have said we have learned so much - not just about Oroville specifically but dams, watersheds, flying, aircraft, forest fires, and rice farming! Did I mention FLYING? Mostly though as things moved along I gained a restored faith in the greatness of America. Not just because we were able to set our minds to a huge challenge and accomplish it but because I got the chance to know an intelligent, accomplished, hardworking, generous, and caring family man like you. America is great because we have great Americans like YOU!
I can't recall seeing so many comments regarding any single video. This has been a fantastic adventure for you Juan and for us, your viewers and subscribers. It has been a wonderful joy to follow this amazing emergency rebuild of the spillway and to experience the numerous tasks that were involved in such a complex process. Congratulations for your reporting award, it was well deserved, the way you made this whole project very interesting and understandable for so many of us around the world. You have gained my respect and appreciation for all you have done and you can be assured I plan to be looking forward to continued coverage of the Oroville project and other adventures you choose to bring to this channel. Thank you so much for everything! Nick, North West Farmer
Thank you so much for your in-depth and accurate reporting of this entire project. It's been a real pleasure following along with you. And, hats off to Kiewit. All of those man-hours and not one injury. Well done! Kiewit did a huge aluminum smelter replacement project here with the same perfect record. Must be a great company to work for. Keep up the good work, Juan. I'll be following along.
California ROCKS..!!! Our hats are off to Juan Brown for doing a FANTASTIC job bringing this documentary of the Oroville Dam Emergency Construction job to all the viewers around the world..!!!
What do you mean 'worst landing ever' I never felt a bump! Thank-you so much for your long haul posts of the spillway. At the beginning there was so much sensationalism over the continuing damage to the spillway, that when I came over your channel I heaved a sigh of relief....someone talking sense. I also liked the way that you took the time explaining the complicated 'stuff', I now know what RCC is now all thanks to you. So many things you explained I never knew were needed in dam construction. Thank-you once again, give my regards to all your family, they are so lovely. Love from Scotland UK
Thank you Juan for tour Orville spillway destruction and rebuild coverage. Very informative, yet not overly dramatic reporting! You've made your ancestors proud! Keep up the good work! You're a natural!👷📹🔎
No one deserves that award more than you Juan. When people look up earning awards, there should be a picture of you next to the definition. I learned a lot from following your vids about Oroville. Way more about engineering, planning, flying, and drainage that I ever thought I wanted to know. Yet When you explain it, I do find myself wanting to know it, and even more important, remembering it months later. That itself is a testament to how good you are at this, and how you were desperately needed in the journalism world.
Thanks Juan for sticking to this HUGE Historical Build .We have enjoyed this series on the Oroville Dam Crisi since day one! We will continue to support your channel and as always greatly appreciate all your hard work .You by far deserve more than just a plaque ,Sir.It was great that you received fan mail, it shows how other's really appreciated your dedication ,facts and relentless conferences , to bring all of those around the world ,right here to the GREAT BLANCOLIRIO CHANNEL! Thanks so much for your dedication and thank your lucky star's for the support of your family.Cheers to the whole Browne Family, stay safe, God bless.
Juan, I can't begin to express in words how much I appreciate what you've done through this whole project. You've set the highest level of integrity and diligence. As a civics teacher I often refer to your efforts as an example of a citizenry who "steps up" and takes responsibility for the well being of their own community. I'll stay tuned for more episodes of your channel. You provide wonderful content and it's such a joy to "come along for the ride." With deepest respect...
Juan: You certainly came by that award honestly! You should also get one from the MSM for giving the most accurate, the most informative, and the most articulate reports of anyone at any time during this emergency! I was (I think) in the tenth grade the first time I visited the dam. At that time, driving along a road at the right side, upstream, it was an enormous hole in the ground! (giving away my age there) Although I live in the PNW now, with KORS in my backyard, I have been hanging on every word of your reports!
Juan, if were in my power, you'd be getting a Pulitzer Prize for your reporting and fortitude through this event, and your family would get one as well for their support and on-air performances :) You've kept us all up-to-date, not only on this, but the other incidents (fires, floods, etc.) that have occurred over the last year. Plus, we've had some unique opportunities to see some other great stuff (flying, air competitions, road trips). Thanks for inviting us into a part of your and your family's life and sharing all of that. My hat's off to Kiewit as well, for having 0 recordable lost time accidents throughout this challenging major construction project.
Sir your coverage of the Oroville disaster does deserve the award. You fast became my only news outlet for Oroville. (And, I followed it from day one) Your clear thoughtful coverage was educated, insightful and correct. You asked the right questions at the press briefings. As a fellow pilot your approach to gathering information and the presentation was refreshing and easy to follow. Thanks Juan for being a clear, calm, truthful voice, that stood above the cacophony of reports
Juan I can't remember how I stumbled upon your channel back in February, but I'm sure glad I did. I've watched numerous other channels and there is no comparison as for content. This has been an exciting journey. First the destruction, and then the re-construction of the spillway. I know you've tried to give the most up-to-date and accurate information available, and we all are appreciative of your effort, especially your fly overs. Our hats are off to Kiewit and their subs for the tremendous job they did getting it built on time and without any major injuries. I've worked in construction all my career as an inspector, so I know what a challenge they were up against. Also enjoyed the antics of your budding young assistant reporters. Keep up the good work, guys !!
Thank you so much, Juan Brown, for your great coverage of this entire Oroville drama. It's amazing to see this hair raising process unfold through thorough and objective reporting. You have dedicated a huge amount of time to keep us informed about a critical event that could have had ripple effects throughout the world.
Thank you, Juan! This ride would never have been possible without your hard work and dedication, not to mention your natural likeability and ability to connect with your viewers. Also, congratulations on your award, well deserved! I am glad to hear that that there is plenty more for us coming down the pike. I'll stay on this ride! All the best to you and yours. 🌻
Thanks Juan... from now on, November 1st will always be referred to as November One... Congrats on the awards... your enthusiasm has been appreciated... it influenced my summer explorations of California's watersheds which I had read about and minimally scouted over a decade ago... I highly suggest the book 'William Mulholland and the Rise of Los Angeles' written by his granddaugther Catherine... I picked it up around Mono Lake when I was exploring Tuolumne Meadows in August...
Thank you Juan and Congrats on your well earned and well deserved award, this whole project has been carried out at a very high standard and I am sure all Californians are proud of it That landing reminded me of our side slip maneuver in a C-130 going in to Sarajevo during CE approach in the 1990`s Ha Ha!.Looking forward to phase 2!
Awesome job Juan. It has been a real pleasure / honor watching your coverage of this CA near disaster over the last year. I say near disaster, because being a citizen of the central valley I know what a total failure of a dam like Oroville would have been. Your fair, impartial and informative coverage has been a welcome reprieve from the mass media covering endless stories about the green spot. Though I wish for no more big issues like this I would look forward to you covering them. If ever you get tired of your day job as a pilot, I think you would make a great journalist. May the great winds always bring you home safe and sound, rodger...
Juan, thank you so much for your insightful reporting of this project. I worked for many years with project civil engineering companies in Europe. It was always a great pleasure when the projects you were involved with was completed on time and within budget. Congratulations to all the guys concerned at Oroville. And once again, thank you for your contribution.
Hello from London..... thanks for the great videos and commentary... never knew that dam construction can be such huge pain but it was completed and can't wait to see the final result... Enjoy the award it can only be awarded to this channel due to the very informative content....Cheers.
I echo comments made here about the great work in the reporting. And, yes, take pride in the award - well deserved. One party not mentioned much is Kiewet. I don't know how they are managed, structured, etc. But, their effort to get this work started with very little in the way of plans, managing the resources (equipment, concrete, stone, manpower, and other assets) had to have been a monumental task. Think for the huge amount of RCC, huge amount of structural concrete, batch plant setup and operations, trucking, ... just the "big stuff" to make this happen. The logistics of JIT products would have been a nightmare, just to find such massive quantities. They obviously had a schedule, scheduled their work, and made it happen. And, there had to have been great project management at the task level to get the jobs done, and WITHOUT fatality or even injury! Hat's off to Kiewit!
As a civil engineer from UK I have been “anchored” to your channel this year for giving out highly informed technical updates, avoiding all the fake news that has been around. Many thanks for that - I will keep watching.
Thank you Juan, for your coverage of the Oroville project. I've enjoyed each of your videos. Congratulations on the award for your coverage, it is well deserved. I hope you had a nice vacation. THANK YOU AGAIN, Juan.
Juan. Since this potential disaster began to unfold,I have followed your story pretty much every day. An amazing engineering job. Will continue to watch for many years. Top job Juan.
Juan, remove useless regulations and things can be built in record time....as you see Kiewit just did! I was behind them from day one. Thanks for your reports....you're the best reporter on the job!! ....13
Thank you for your through reports, continued dedication, has provided the world with the most accurate well thought out,information.... Your the very best. And a well deserved award...Congratulations...I will look foreword to phase two....Michigan man. Out....
Mi Hermano Juan Browne ! Thanks again, for all that you have done over this past year, and especially Thank You, La Familia Browne, for your individual sacrifices and support, that allowed your Sweetheart and Father to bring so much excellent, accurate, unbiased, timely information, and tension relief to all of us that live downstream from Oroville Dam.. We could not have been so wonderfully informed and satisfied so well without your excellent work, Juan, thank you so much ! It is no surprise that you have received the first of many Awards that will come because of your great mind and delivery, along with your willingness to serve total strangers, as you have over all this time.. I hope and pray that you and yours will have a wonderful Thanksgiving this year and I will certainly be especially thankful for you and yours this year at that time and all the time..
Thank you, Juan, for your service to the community. I have enjoyed watching all your updates since the emergency began. And congratulations on the well deserved award. Your style of reporting should be used as a model in teaching journalists how to effectively communicate newsworthy events for the common man. The word Pulitzer also comes to mind.
Thanks for the regular updates over the last year Juan. You're a natural and just seem like an all round nice bloke. I have a background in concrete construction/steel reinforcement and it's been fascinating to watch your very professional analysis and clear commentary as the project progressed. You mentioned that they don't have anchor bolts deep enough to get down through the RCC to bedrock. They may instead employ post-tensioned, high-tensile steel cables. I worked on a dam augmentation project here in Australia (Burrinjuck Dam NSW) in the 1980s, which was to raise and strengthen an existing dam that was unknowingly built on an earthquake fault in the 1930's. This project used 100's of post-tensioned cables that were drilled up to 120 metres down through two underlying old dam structures then down into bedrock. The cables, probably about 100mm in diameter, were grouted in place and then hydraulically post-tensioned with a force of 22 metric tonnes each cable to hold the new dam wall structure in place. They may use a similar approach at Orville. I can't imagine RCC having the strength of bedrock in this situation.
Thank you for faithfully reporting about the Oroville Dam situation. I grew up in the area but now live in TN. I remember when the dam was being built & it was said the spillway would not be needed for 100 years!
Thank you Mr. Browne for all your reporting; film; edit; etc. You earned that award. People want to see removal of crane. We know you have no time. We are hoping someone does. God bless you in all that you do. PTL
From South Carolina, I've watched Juan's channel for good reason. A very interesting subject, that could have been a major disaster, followed by some real planning and problem solving, explained in the best way for us laypeople. No whacked out conjecture, pretty darn comprehensive, especially since there was one guy doing it. Congratulations on the award, Juan, it is very well deserved. If only the mainstream characters would have enough sense to learn from how you've done it. And you are correct, sir. Your other topics are pretty darned interesting, too. Keep up the great work! I've learned a lot by watching you. Cheers!
Thanks Juan. I've Subscribed to you since the spillway debacle. You are the only one worth watching. I live in Washington but my hometown and family are downstream and I so enjoyed getting your updates. I grew up watching the building of the dam and enjoyed Bidwell all these years so was eager for any and all information and you are the best. Keep up the good work.
Juan...thank you so much for all your great coverage about the Oroville Dam. Congrats on your award too! You deserve it! Keep up the good work! Your fans, Bill and Sharon
Great job Juan. While I wasn't one of the "they will never get it done" group, I was in the How are they going to get it done group. But I should have known that when Kiewit gets turned loose, things happen. Those people amaze me. Way to go guys. Absolutely incredible. I have been following your channel since the emergency first happened, good reporting. And as far as the worst landing ever. I have spent years flying in and out of remote logging camps, all small planes with floats. I have had a few hairy landings that made that one of yours look like a cake walk. Not complaining, more like complimenting the pilots that I have flown with. Those guys have a very unique set of skills.. I'll be sticking around to see what else you have in store for the channel, I really enjoy your other interests. Take care from one of your norther neighbors up in Beautiful BC.
Aloha Juan and Mahalo for your reporting. I look forward to viewing more on airplanes in general and additional reporting on the fire fighting aircraft that you have already reported on. Congratulations on your deserved awards, in the air or on the ground you have done a great service for so many of us who are vested in the great state of California. You are the Oroville Oracle.
Found your channel when looking for coverage of the initial emergency, ended up a regular viewer due to your excellent journalism, explanations and eye for detail. Congratulations on your well deserved award, I've learned more about spillway construction than I ever expected!
Thanks Juan for reporting all year long. It's very refreshing to get real news throughout this rebuild. I got one of my Ham radio friends to start watching you, and he is also an American Captain for the A320 Series based in Charlotte. Small world indeed. Thanks again!
Great coverage Mr. Browne, and a well deserved award. I enthusiastically followed you all the way from your earliest broadcasts. You know who else I think deserves awards; all those guys who worked hard on the rebuild 24/7 all those months. I think they did a fantastic job.
Juan, you deserve every one of those accolades, letters and awards. Since February I have looked forward to your reports. How refreshing it is to get accurate unbiased information. You go to the trouble and do your research to give your "readers" the essential background information so we understand the reasons behind what happened and why. I look forward to next March when phase two ramps up and you continue your fine reporting. You mentioned how much you learned as a citizen reporter, well be proud of the tens of thousands of people you taught too.
Thanks Juan for such excellent updates on the Orville Dam, I prayed much that the dam be restored that the people that live in the path of the spillway would not be harmed, I greatly enjoy my visits to California, there are some lovely people throughout the state, from top to bottom, the 55 mph speed limit is my only grumble when I am there.
Thanks Juan, another great report and a Huuuuuge shout out and congrats to all the hard working ladies and gentlemen who have been so successful working on this extraordinary project.
I’m so pleased to see things got completed in schedule. I started following your channel after I accidentally stumbled upon it about a month after the incident. I’ve been hooked on your reporting ever since. I’d eagerly await the next Juan Brown update on the Oriville project! I’ll kinda miss the frequent updates on that, but don’t get me wrong, I’m glad to see it’s ready for the upcoming flood season. I can’t wait to see your coverage once phase 2 starts. Congrats on your award too! Well deserved! I would skip nearly all the other channels covering the spillway and only watch yours. Keep up the good work!
Juan, You have done a fantastic job in reporting a true factual account of an amazing engineering and construction project. You are a fantastic man! I hope you and your family will enjoy the fruits of your labor. Good Luck my friend.
I have followed you all along. Your information is fantastic. Your information is true and I thank you. Some bozo showed a concrete dam with the spillway in the middle and said " Oroville is about to brake" His dam was concrete and Oroville dam is earthen. What a JOKE. Keep up the great work and congrats on the reward.
RCC 150 feet deep. You could see the canyon was deep but wow! Sometimes it's hard to wrap one's mind around the sheer scale of that spillway. Well, what an education it has been on the Oroville dam, its importance to California and how you go about fixing it. Thanks Juan for an awesome year of reporting. Will stayed tuned for more. Thanks!
Great job throughout the whole Oroville emergency. You provided relevant, factual and clear news and information. there may be a Pulitzer in your future. Time to get the snow tires on the Honda!
I have been with you since the beginning of this adventure. Your reporting has been stellar! I am absolutely amazed at the end result. Everyone who had even the smallest part in completing this momentous task , well done! A triumph of skill and expertise from everyone involved. Bravo!
Congrats Juan on the award, you deserved it! As I recall, I believe you had your doubts that they would meet the Nov 1st deadline... Also, fyi, my son’s part of the hydroseeding crew at Oroville! Thanks for the closeup of that operation.
Juan, Just let me say, you have done a sterling job with covering this project, and the award is well deserved. Having been involved in the physical construction of a similar earth filled dam (Wivenhoe) here in South East Queensland, Aust, I can understand and appreciate all that Keiwit and other contractors had to do in the limits of the timeframe. Cheers Brad
Thank you Juan. Been following from Australia since you started reporting on oroville. You are the only reporter I trust to provide information. Thank you again Juan. All the very best friend
Thanks Juan for the fascinating reportage over the course of the Oroville drama. We've watched all of it from afar here in Yorkshire and enjoyed the gentle, intelligent touch you've given to your vlogs. Best wishes to everyone in the Oroville watershed!
Great job Juan! The technical stuff became understandable and each update was looked forward to because of your no nonsense real reporter style of reporting...notepad, pencil in hand and of course the real reporter hat. Central casting couldn't have done it any better. Also hats off to Peter Kiewit and especially the crews in the trenches who really got it done with their sweat and muscle. So I guess now you are returning to your regular scheduled programming, can't wait.
Congratulations on your well-deserved award! You really have been a light in the darkness of this entire (near) disaster, as well as the aftermath. I look forward to watching you explain Phase Two next year. Thank you SO MUCH for the reporting. Let your family know how much we appreciate the time it took away from them for all the flights, videos, press conferences and the editing. Our world sorely needs more folks like you.
Juan, a quick thank you from SoCal. Your coverage of the Orville Dam was great, and a big THANKs for all the outstanding fire coverage you were able to sneak in. You guys had a tough season up there this year. Thankfully we dodge a bullet, (San Diego Co.) this time around. Look forward to all your stories and videos. Regards,Jim..Retired CDF Firefighter from the "old days"...😃😃
AS always Juan, *journalistic integrity and honesty,* you're the best! Thanks for the views from the mighty Luscombe, that landing didn't look like a toe-stub at all...so, let's get some gas.
Congratulations Juan on your award!. Thank you for keeping us informed. Looking forward to seeing more videos of you and your travels and updates as they happen.
Juan thanks. You have done a really great job. Your past experiences combined with and training as a pilot, gave us a good resource when there was a lot of misinformation and hysterics going on. Thank your family for me as I am sure this was a drain on all of you in multiple ways! I am sure it was easy to choose you for the award. Thanks again for your commitment. Sue from NC (I live below a 1930's dam)
Phenomenal series Juan - a very well deserved award. One point of clarification on the 93 dam assessments you referenced. Those assessments ordered by Gov. Brown were only for the dam spillways and not the actual dam structures (although that may come later). The comprehensive spillway assessments include all engineering aspects: hydraulics, structural, geotechnical, etc.
Congratulations Juan, and well done!! Have loved following your channel and family over these past months. You've shown the world how to do a thorough and quality job, and it is so appreciated! You well deserve all awards! Looks like you might be raising another quality reporter from the background. Looking forward to your future videos! Thank you!
God bless you sir and thank you so much for your excellent reporting over the past months. I've been an ardent fan following your updates, never missing one.
Noah Count just what I was trying to say !! 😊
~ DGG ~ Well said!!!
Juan,
I stumbled on to your channel accidentally back in February of 2017,
when I was searching for info on the Oroville Dam.
Thanks for your sticking with the Oroville dam project
Congratulations on the award. I really enjoyed this series from my home in Minnesota.
ZERO injuries! Unreal. Congratulations! And kudos Mr. Browne for your award.
As many have said we have learned so much - not just about
Oroville specifically but dams, watersheds, flying, aircraft,
forest fires, and rice farming! Did I mention FLYING? Mostly though
as things moved along I gained a restored faith in the greatness
of America. Not just because we were able to set our minds to a huge
challenge and accomplish it but because I got the chance to know an
intelligent, accomplished, hardworking, generous, and caring family
man like you.
Great coverage Juan! Enjoyed the updates immensely.
Excellent in depth coverage of a truly momentous event. Thanks for the journey Juan.
California ROCKS..!!! Our hats are off to Juan Brown for doing a FANTASTIC job bringing this documentary of the Oroville Dam Emergency Construction job to all the viewers around the world..!!!
Congratulations Juan, a well deserved award....
Thanks Juan for the great in depth reporting on this huge project and Congrats on the award .
Thanks Ron!
I picked it up around Mono Lake when I was exploring Tuolumne Meadows in August...
totally amazing watching all that - and your delivery was excellent... thanks for doing it all - well deserved award there :)
Thank you for your excellent coverage of the Oroville Dam situation. Your award is well-deserved. May it be the first of many.
Great job reporting on the Oroville dam and spillway reconstruction. Congratulations on your award!! I'll keep watching, Juan.
Well deserved award, Juan. Congrats!
May the great winds always bring you home safe and sound,
rodger...

Here here well said mamoth task on jit
Thanks for all the great information and videos on the Oroville Dam. You have given me a new area of the country to explore in retirement.
Your award is much deserved! Your reporting has been concise and informative, the best coverage I have seen. Thank you very much.
Thanks for your reports....you're the best reporter on the job!!
....13
Don't forget the motivation of Union Labor!!!
Thank you for your through reports, continued dedication, has provided the world with the most accurate well thought out,information.... Your the very best. And a well deserved award...Congratulations...I will look foreword to phase two....Michigan man. Out....
Without regulation you would not have gotten zero injuries. And you would not have confidence that the construction was sound.
GNiessen --- The key word in my comment was "useless". And your statement is 100% correct.
Yes....I'm pretty impressed with Kiewit. They picked a well run, hard working company for the project.
My friend is the man who placed all the concrete with his team of men. Zero accidents is awesome! Great work men! Wow!
PTL
Well deserved award! Congrats! Thanks for all you do to keep us up to date!
Congrats on the award. You well deserve it!
Thanks Sharon!
I have really enjoyed your videos on the Oraville project, you are a breath of fresh air in honest repotting. Thank you.
Congratulations! The award is well deserved!
Excellent journalism! I've enjoyed watching your informative channel and the twist and turns of the Oroville Dam project! Thank you!
Adrian Robinson we got it up to 65 now.
Thank you Juan, hopefully you got some good trail riding in.
Yes!
Awesome! Any ride is a good one, check out some of my old helmetcam footage out west from '06. ua-cam.com/video/LYhz31ZzIpQ/v-deo.html
Sad but true.
Thanks for the closeup of that operation.
irgski I did!
Nice work humans. You have my stamp of approval. 👍
And congrats on the award Juan. 😉
Thanks again Juan for all your work. You made this whole project much easier to understand and follow.
Juan, From someone who had no clue about dams and dam technology, Thank you for your continued coverage. Love your insight and view on things.
Juan, congratulations on your well-deserved award and thank you for the excellent reporting.
Juan, a quick thank you from SoCal. Your coverage of the Orville Dam was great,
and a big THANKs for all the outstanding fire coverage you were able to sneak in.
Congrats on your award. Well deserved in my opinion.
Good point!
Congratulations Juan, and well done!! Have loved following your channel and family over these past months. You've shown the world how to do a thorough and quality job, and it is so appreciated! You well deserve all awards! Looks like you might be raising another quality reporter from the background. Looking forward to your future videos! Thank you!
I'm in northern Indiana..... your style and substance keeps me interested in what's happening.... thank you
Thanks Juan for the amazing coverage of the Oroville spillway. Looking forward to your future reporting of phase 2 as well as your other interests.
Any spillway disaster you can walk away from is a good one. Great citizen-journalist work J!
God bless you sir and thank you so much for your excellent reporting over the past months. I've been an ardent fan following your updates, never missing one.
Good night Irene! Thanks Juane for your great effort and clear reporting. Judy Victoria BC Canada.
