  • Osella Corse is an Italian car brand specializes in building sport cars for hill climbing and minor sport race championship.
    The car featured in the video is the Osella PA9/90, a historic hillclimb prototype built in 1989 as an evolution of the PA9 (1981).
    Most of the PA9/90s were moved by a 2.0 liter BMW M12/7 engine which was able to produce around 300 bhp at 10000 rpm. Afterwards it was adopted a bigger BMW engine (the 2.5 liter S14) that had more torque than the M12/7.
    In this video you can hear the sound differences of the 2 engines. In particular the first PA9/90 (yellow) has the 2.0 BMW M12/7 engine instead the other two (light blue and lime yellow ones) are moved by the 2.5 BMW S14.
