    The Chef's/Kitchen knife you sharpened, what a beauty!
    These TSPROF sharpeners seem to be the best when it comes to the guided-rod systems...

    Got mine yesterday I love it, I started out with work sharp which I don't have no complaints, but this is a whole different level very sturdy extremely well built.

    How about the base? Too small/unstable?

    Any of these systems have a way to zero the blade angle left vs right? Sure it gets clamped in the jig, but literally your blades are probably out 5° one way vs the other

    • @Mysticmountainforge
      @Mysticmountainforge  Рік тому

      You need to check it with a angle guage to be exact on each side, the instructions actually come with a guide showing how to use one with the jig. I appreciate you watching.

    I think you forgot to use the thickness compensator for the leather strop?

    • @Mysticmountainforge
      @Mysticmountainforge  Рік тому

      Yep, I did, I didn't realize it until after the video was uploaded. I appreciate you watching.

    For how much this rig costs you would think it would have the angle markings on it.
    Having to use an angle gauge IMHO is kind of krazy.

      I agree, after using it for quite a while now, the latch that keeps the head from freely spinning is extremely loose and I have to hold it with one hand while sharpening with the other, seeing what is on the market now for 1/2 the price makes this one not worth it in my opinion now. I appreciate you watching.
