He's a born again Texan
He has fixed 2 of his biggest issues. 1, he is now fighting with his chin tucked instead of leaving it wide open which caused him to get tko'ed by Jose Aldo, TKZ, and knocked out by Rafael Fiziev. 2, he went back to his bread and butter, his grappling and jiu-jitsu. He has also worked on his foot work and his boxing as well. Always liked Renato Moicano. All around good guy, humble in victory or defeat, and he always pays his respect to those that he fought and those who have helped him with his journey.
The humbleness and loyalty showing to his coaches and opponents is vital to this sport best interview i seen all night out of this man

Unfortunate Renato Moicano has been on the receiving end of some highlight reel finishes by fan favourites which have overshadowed his career; Brian Ortega, Jose Aldo, Korean Zombie and Rafael Fiziev.
@@madgavin7568 the fiziev fight was a bit of an early stoppage but yeah moicano has been on receiving end of some brutal highlights. He fought well at 145 tho. The rankings haven’t changed at featherweight that much I think if he stuck around there he would still be in top 10

@@sukhdevr3489 I think so. His chin is a little questionable even at 155 but at 145 you can just tell the weight cut was affecting his chin and durability so badly. I know Korean zombie hits hard but if you watch their fight he folds moicano with no resistance
