This is such a fantastic, well edited video! it was very enjoyable seeing Goodbye Sengen destroy everything in its path
Thanks! I put a lot of effort on it ^w^ ♥
It's interesting how different it is from Nico Nico popular songs, especially in the recent years.
Yes! The results are very different!
@@ELDAN_ hmmm now i want to see those ! worth a vid for sure!
not gonna lie i teared up when unknown mother goose appeared... as the last big song wowaka released it shows how much of a lasting impact he has made on vocaloid culture 💗
totally agree. Wowaka's impact is something that always stay on my heart
I'm happy that vocaloid is still alive
Me too!!! Thank you!!
ofc still alive bruh
Same
Hey it designed to be immortal anyway
This mighty rising of goodbye declaration👌
I'm sure this song will be the 1st vocaloid song to reach 100 million views on UA-cam
I thought the same! thank you for comment!
Its currently at 99m, so I bet in a few months itll reach 100m
@@siorganism in few days especially!
You called it
2 years from now, still the most viewed
Kids React to Hatsune Miku was my first exposure to Vocaloid, and the concept of a singing computer absolutely TERRIFIED ME. About a year later, curiosity got the best of me and I spent an afternoon watching Ievan Pokka, PoPiPo, and of course, World is Mine. Ten years later and vocal synths are my longest running interest and I’m about to experiment with them myself!! This video brought back lots of memories, specifically when World Is Mine dominated the charts. Lots of love from Miku to Teto to OnE to Maki to K E V I N
I can relate your comment a lot !! ♥ very powerful words, thank you for sharing :)
kevin will be the next hatsune miku calling it right here
1ST 100M VOCALOID today
:DD
WAIT ITS THE 1ST EVER 100M VICALOID SONG EVER?! YASSSS
the way that goodbye declaration came out of NOWHERE
I love how quickly Goodbye Declaration just flew by everything and took the top spot. By no small gap either.
Interesting how 2015-2018 were really gumi's years considering that's when I got suuuuuper into vocaloid and gumi is my favorite lol
i wanted to point out unknown mother goose coming into the charts a couple months after wowakas passing ❤️ interesting because on nico nico a lot of his songs (worlds end dancehall, two faced lovers, rolling girl etc.) were in the charts pretty consistently
Its sad :( Wowaka still lives in us and on his songs ❣️
I watched both your videos on most viewed Vocaloid songs on both YT and NND, and interestingly I can remember and relate with more of the charting songs on NND than the ones on YT, even though I exclusively listened to Vocaloid on YT. In fact, the NND chart seems more accurate to me haha. For example, I'm shocked that Black Rock Shooter and Imitation Black don't even appear here. A large part of the YT community grew thanks to sub channels like vgperson, Amesubs, lordxwillie etc. and many of their videos got taken down (flagged for copyright) as producers themselves started their own YT accounts over recent years to re-upload their original material. For example I believe that's why wowaka's music didn't chart on the YT list earlier because (uploader correct me if I'm wrong) you are mainly counting official uploads if the producer happens to already be on YT. Also hence the sudden spike in Matryoshka in 2014 - it already had millions of views years before that but the video was taken down. So I think this could be one of the contributing reasons to the very different charts, even though I remember the popular songs being the NND ones.
I know I'm the first one to say this, but seeing Unknown Mothergoose on there just months after wowakas death hits different. That's my favorite song, it's the song I most associate with wowaka. Knowing so many people listened to it after his death is so bittersweet. As if the vocaloid community was mourning him together. R.I.P. wowaka.
Given that Sand Planet was hachi saying "Hey guys whatever happened to everyone making vocaloid songs? Come on y'all," it's nice to see something blow past it.
Yeah, it's kind of poetic
Goodbye-Declaration just appearing out of nowhere and getting first place lolll
It makes me happy to see all sorts of vocaloid songs with different vocaloid singers being popular, it's great how diverse the vocaloid songs are nowadays
Just one sentence, just one: BRING KAGEROU PROJECT BACK TO LIFE
agreed
Amazing... I got into Vocaloid over 10 years ago now, and I'm still amazed by the scene. As much as I love Hachi, I'm a little irked at him for making everyone believe that Vocaloid was dead when he dropped Sand Planet; the scene was definitely still alive and kicking! Anyway, Goodbye Sengen was fucking _amazing_ for the community.
I'd guess that it's a mix of Vtubers/utaite and Proseka bringing the scene back into the spotlight; I feel as if, around late 2020, 2021 maybe? There was a sort of "renaissance" in the Voca scene, so to speak. I consider Goodbye Sengen, KING, and Vampire as some sort of holy trinity... Genuine turning points for the Vocaloid scene. It's so exciting! We're living through history in this subculture as we speak!! I'm so excited, in 5 or 10 years, to see what the current day 2021-2022 scene is like retrospectively!
That aside though, I'm surprised HIBANA was so high as opposed to Ghost Rule. Also, I was _really_ expecting Vampire (especially above MKDR???) but I guess it's one of those songs where covers get more views than the original...
Its good to see a person of culture! Old vocaloid fans are still alive heh! ❣️
@@ELDAN_ I just got into Vocaloid. But I just tell people don't try to gatekeep me I was watching Anime before your parents were born. Possibly. (1978 Star Blazers aka Space Battleship Yamato)
But don't worry old people don't like Vocaloid. I'm the only one. I'm just different. My brain doesn't get old :) I'm also playing Proseka. I think it would be funny to get to Masters above the age of 50. Dunno if I'll have the patience. I'm just finishing hard and starting expert.
i like it how love trial just chilling in middle tier all the time. I would never get bored with that song
ik this is random but i think i first got into vocaloid somewhere around 2020, so i was still in my Gacha life/club phase :Pi remember i think I saw a gacha edit or music video of Senbonzakura and i really loved the way it sounded so i looked it up, then looked up who hatsune miku was, then all the other vocaloids, then the deeper i got into the rabbit hole the less chance there was of me ever leaving my vocaloid phase. And that is exactly what happened, because i still love vocaloid so much to this day :P
ok but this is actually amazing 👁️👄👁️
Thanks !!! ❣️❣️❣️
Goodbye To A World and Sad Machine are two popular vocaloid songs which use the vocaloid AVANNA that could probably be included. Otherwise, great list!
Amazing video as always
Viva Argentina !
Me: *paitently waits for copycat*
Echo: this is my throne for abt 4 years, yes
Me: what
Echo: Oh crap my throne!
Goodbye declaration: HI SISTERS
Me: where's copycat
Goodbye declaration: ummmmm nowhere
i'm happy for HACHI
OMG! This is amazing! 😍
Thank you so much!!
Amazing video quality chart!!!
Thankssssss
Funfact: most songs in the start blew up because they are from project diva
the way goodbye declaration just said goodbye to all the songs and ZOOMED to the top (deserved)
Oh man this was so fascinating to watch!! Especially the earlier years, since I only started listening to Vocaloid maybe 6-7 years ago. Makes me glad to see the community still going so strong after so many years. Thanks for making this! Quick question-could I use your video to make a gas gas gas meme for Goodbye Declaration? Crediting you, of course :)
Sure!!
Poor little sand planet, it spent years trying to climb its way to the top, and then the second it got there, *flower just fking drop kicked to the next plane of existence over*
But I’m still happy beyond words that she made the most popular vocaloid song =D
8:24 pog
Goodbye Declaration goes BRRRR
God, I still remember seeing Goodbye Sengen in a Vocaloid song compilation and then going to its original upload. It was still not that popular so I was kinda saddened to see not that many covers on it yet because vflower's voice just wasn't doing it for me. And now it's like everybody is covering it lmao
ok, this is good
Thank you!!!! ❣️
I'm so proud of Chinozo and Flower 🥲
Talking about figurines, in quantity and sales, how the graphics would looks like between Vocaloids and Utaloids? Figurines market is really big too
Me waiting for a long time to see my favorite song and it come out only 15 seconds, unknown mother goose
8:24 Goodbye Declaration just zooming up the list
再見宣言根本神曲
再见宣言破排名
I think God-ish will break all of these records soon it's like THE Vocaloid song of the year it already has 24M views in UA-cam and it's having a stable high ranking in Nico Nico Douga among songs and it's only been 5 months since the release
Really takes us all by surprise! One day Sand Planet was the king of the list one and suddenly God-ish destroyed everything we know lol
Anyway it's a really good song heh! Thank you for comment 😉🎩
@@ELDAN_ hehe it'll not only God-ish I see a lot of producers are really active this year and 2021 a lot of new ones are building their career that makes me happy cause when I joined the fandom at 2018 things where quite it was just people complaining about the fan base diying but now the fandom is full of life but unlike previous years, songs right know feel so professional, I think the release of project sekai played a big role because of them bringing back vocalo-p, the release of KAFU was important as well the amount of producers that got back because of her was crazy, without forgetting DECO *27 with his mannequin songs he's really under the spotlight along side Pinocchio p
Also keep on the good work 😄
@@somebody8452 I joined the fandom in 2012, which is what many considered to be it's peak, it's golden era. It was fairly sad to see vocaloid's popularity and relevance being eroded away, from 2016 onwards, with tons of talent leaving the community left and right, from producers to utaites and even many voicebanks being discontinued. Things looked fairly grim.
But ooh boy, 2020 and especially 2021 have been huge years for vocaloid (all singing voice synths really), not only from the successful and popular songs but a thriving cover song environment with tons of rising Utaite like Ado and covers from young otaku Vtubers that likely grew up listening to vocaloid. Outside of vocaloid original songs, several of the most successful japanese songs of the last two years have been composed by *active* vocaloid producers, even if they aren't vocaloid songs (Ado and Yoasobi songs mostly but also from others such as Mafumafu). Hell, even the fact that CeVio and SynthV have swooped in to fight for the crown after Yamaha shit the bed with V5 is exciting news after what felt like years of stagnation.
It really feels like vocaloid is going through a revival, and though I doubt it will reach the heights it did in early 2010s it is awesome to be a part of it.
@@krayos13 2021 and this year are amazing, yet for some reason I still feel that something more thrilling will happen and trust me my instinct never fails me when it comes to this fandom hehe I lot of things I wished to came to reality even the Kagamines first concert that I've always thought I'm hoping for desperately will come to life
@@ELDAN_ I must say, 3 more deco*27 songs are kinda getting past 50Million vews right now. It's insane, Because earlier in the year Hibana, Vampire, and MKDR were not near 50M vews...
This is really good video.I've been wanting to make a video like this as well so can I ask a few questions? There were many reuploads of a single song from 2007-2011, with most of them deleted so which versions did you use in the video? Did you declude the deleted videos?
Aww thanks🖤❣️ I looked for the most viewed videos, even if they were reupload, I kept the most viewed version of each, because try to keep all of them could've been a mess heh ^^Uu
Dm me if you want to participate on a next video! Maybe we can make something together :) ig: eldante_cos
@@ELDAN_ Thanks for the reply! Also you ignored the project diva and live versions, correct?
@@sakiaung yes ^-^ heh
omggg kairiki bear song went on there last second
Yes!
You can tell when VTubers started getting big because of the view spike for KING... nice.
NicoNico Video Top: 75% Hatsune Miku
UA-cam Top: 40% Hatsune Miku
Thanks God, here in youtube the other vocaloids have more views TwT
this is so accurate
English:
I still can't believe that one Flower song will have eclipsed all Miku songs... it's so epic...
I feel that Flower ended up dethroning Gumi as the 1st most popular vocaloid, and I never imagined it until now
Español:
todavia no me puedo creer que una canción de Flower habra eclipsado a todas las canciones de Miku... es tan épico...
siento que Flower terminara destronando a Gumi como la 1ª vocaloid mas popular, y nunca me lo había imaginado hasta ahora
Totalmente! Vflower nos dejó a todos muy sorprendidos!!
I feel that it's pretty likely that The Vampire could be the most popular song eventually.
I love Miku, don't get me wrong, but I find it funny how she got kicked down from her throne by GUMI with Echo and FloweR topped it off with reaching 6 digits first with Goodbye declaration XD
my boy goodbye declaration went to the top in like 10 seconds 💀😂
Surprised that Melt isn't inside
me too!
Is anyone know the song tittle that ELDAN use in 0:40??
Fate:Rebirth by Natsu-P :)
Thanks for the answer sir.. 🙏
Would like to see an updated version
Bowling task -- DONE
I remember first hearing Miku Leek Spin sometime in 08. Also what the hell is Goodbye Declaration?
As of today, "The Vampire" by DECO*27 has 53M views on youtube, making it into the top 10, I think
And Goodbye Declaration has 102M views!!!
I still can't get what's so special about goodbye declaration
Expected Triple Baka to be higher. Eh.

where?
Making the first song vanan'ice so true
Goodbye Declaration is the Boss Music
I LOVE VOCALOID I LOVE U DANTE DADDY DANTE
ayyyyy thanks!!!!!🖤🖤🖤
Pretty cool I guess
wouldn't the number 1 spot be Nyan Cat because it's sung by the utau Momone Momo?
In the same sense that Gangam style is the most popular Kpop song (maybe, idk). For practical reasons in makes sense to leave it out since it would dwarf every other song so much that it would make the differences between the other songs hard to read
Can you end the NicoVideo ver or mix the info please?
Can I post this video on bilibili ?
i think the most viewed utau song has 180 million? (if nyan cat counts)
Where is nyan cat song which sang by Hatsune? 😱
Nyan Cat is sang by Momone Momo, an Utau ^^
@@ELDAN_ oops
Wait if this is true(and I know it is) THEB KING GOT 10 MILLION MORE VIEWS IN 6 MONTHS??

YOU HABLAS ESPAÑOL
Si :)
As I'm writing this comment, Goodbye Declaration has 97 million views, which is sooo close to 100 million!!! I hope Sand Planet also reaches at least 180 million views someday or something like that. Miku is my queen and I don't like the fact Flower has more views than Miku.
Imo, Sengen does not deserve that top spot at all. It’s good, but the original…I just don’t really like it. I guess I don’t really like flower in general.
I'm pretty new to Vocaloid, but I like a couple Flower songs (Villian, Nuyuri's top songs are addicting, kakiri bear also has some I like, aunnobeats, etc) however I have to agree with you that Segen is not that good imo. I never even heard of it till like a month ago when I kept seeing fanart of it, and I hadn't listened to it till yesterday on the Happy-B Day Miku playlist on UA-cam. And then I found out like yesterday that it was most viewed and I was like... why? I guess it blew up on tiktok and in the Vtube community (King did the same but that song SLAPS) and boom, here we are today...
