My dear friend, who happens to be my childhood piano teacher and mentor, sent me this link. She sent it to listen to after the celebration of life for my father this Easter Saturday. What a wonderful composition reflecting the north. I am a bass singer and love the intracasies of all the voices throughout. I am impressed by the visual music. I am able to not only hear and detect the different phrasing, but also see the music.... And therefore join in... Thank you for your work on the project. And if you're reading this Sarah Chandler, ekosani (Thank you in Cree).
Thank you so much for writing @db4716 and for sharing your thoughts and reflections. We are so humbled and honoured that you listened to our performance following the celebration of life for your father. With our heartfelt condolences, we are lifting you up on the wings of eternal song.
Most welcome, dear friend 🥰 Note: When I asked my "aboriginal dad" Alphonse Peters how to say "you're welcome" in St'at'imcets, he said "We don't say that. If you weren't welcome, we wouldn't have done it for you in the first place". Food for thought.....
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment, @jonicooper9578! Yes Mark and Stephen wrote many wonderful pieces together. We hope all choirs and ensembles will be curious about their work and plan to perform them more widely in the world. See especially The Wetland Project !
Uplifting and delightful. Perfect hymns for Pantheists, a state of belief that I have come to embrace. Thanks for the lift from the misery of figuring taxes.
Wow, this is so very special, bravo to everyone who participated in this astonishingly beautiful and mesmerizing audio visual choral creation, 5 stars!
