My dear friend, who happens to be my childhood piano teacher and mentor, sent me this link. She sent it to listen to after the celebration of life for my father this Easter Saturday. What a wonderful composition reflecting the north. I am a bass singer and love the intracasies of all the voices throughout. I am impressed by the visual music. I am able to not only hear and detect the different phrasing, but also see the music.... And therefore join in... Thank you for your work on the project. I loved how the indigenous chant style of this piece ended with choir members honouring the traditional owners of the land on which they live. Bringing the message of music into everyday life.
