Girl, you look aDORable today, lovely seventies summer vibe that suits you very well, gold and yellow are perfection on you. The blusher júst under your eyes is very sweet.
I would love to see a video from you of products you use when you're in a rush. When you want to look put together, but you don't have time to sit down and do everything. Thanks Jen!!
I know you’re a busy mom and it probably takes a lot of your time to do each video, but I’m always so looking forward to watch your video when you upload it. I wouldn’t mind if you have a new one every other day. 😅
Aww thank you! I had planned to post this on Saturday but we had a busy weekend with a Christening and other stuff going on so it took me longer to edit than usual. I hope I can start posting more this summer! :)
I'm so glad you like the WnW glosses too! I've been swearing by them for years! Bronzed Berry is one of my most complimented glosses of all time. I've had friends ask me what I'm wearing and order it on the spot when they hear the price! So so good and feel high end!
I have that Bronzed Berry, and the Rose Gold, too. Similar with a slight difference. I also like the Crushed Diamonds glittery colored ones. The price just makes it like why not!
I always thought that Pixi was expensive but these days $12 for a color corrector and eyeliner and $8 for a tinted balm doesn't seem so bad. It's like all the other drugstore brands caught up with Pixi LOL. 😂😂😂
I enjoy your videos. I appreciate it that you include the price of the item. It helps a lot. I also like your swatches. Thank you again for all you do with your videos.
I never get compliments from strangers either (in Ohio) BUT one day I was in store and the checkout lady was looking at me super odd and I was like starting to feel uncomfortable like WTH but then she’s like….You have such porcelain skin! I was like oh, yeah, I’m really pale. She’s like NO, NO….like yeah you’re fair, but I mean like porcelain like so smooth!! I was like WOW, THANK YOU! Lady totally made my day and made me feel so good! 🥰
@@JenPhelps- what shade did you order? Their camo line runs either too yellow or peach on me, but the swatches online look so fantastically neutral and/or cool without being straight up PINK, I'm really wanting to try it out. ❤
Had to mention this because I hate rose scents too, but Pacifica’s Persian Rose smells SO fresh! I love that one! It’s like rose water with a hint of lemon. Very fresh, not quite fruity with none of that powdery floral smell. Highly recommend you check it out!
I can see the lady at the register saying ur skin is beautiful bc when I was brand new to u + u showed ur skin w/o filtered lighting, those same words popped outta my mouth + again while picking my mouth up offa the floor, when u said ur age 🥰 Ty so much for trying the Pixie color corrector… I’ve been eyeing it for quite a while from others + am ordering it today
Wow, what a great video. I enjoyed it. You have perfect lighting. Great quality. I’d love your video. Your personalities wonderful and your skin is glowing. Keep keep up the grade. Hard work and I enjoyed this video as well. Looking forward to more positive. Great energy videos.
As soon as you started the vid I thought, gee your hair looks silkier than usual, then you got to the redkin products, definitely can see a difference, another thing I need to add to my wish list, thanks Jen LOL💗
I ordered it today on the sephora app so hopefully it should be here in the next couple of days! I saw on IG that it's the same shades as Gold but without the turquoise shades. It's kind of like a revamped version I guess!
Those TirTir skin products looked great. I bet your skin was glowing with those and that foundation. As many others have said, love the makeup look tonight! Thank you for the scoop on all the products.
I want to try the pink case Tirtir. It's a more full coverage. The problem is, they have 3 colors. Casper the Ghost, Milk White, and Damn White. I am neither lol
@@lizam3008 i hope they bring the shades from the red compact to all of their complexion products. even that range needs to go deeper, but it's certainly better than a choice of 3 incredibly light shades
I love your style, class, professionalism, reviews, your truth, and your hair is on point with your classic yellow top! matches beautifully with your hair ! Perfection ! 😊
I think it is wonderful that you got such a nice compliment about your skin! Those products must have the ingredients your skin needs. And, my guess is that with consistent use the Redkin products will improve your hair even more. I got influenced to try the Remedy lip treatment and the Pore treatment. They just came in the mail today so now my experiment begins
You should try the body butters from Pacifica. Indian Coconut Nectar is one of the. All the mist scents come in the body butter. Your skin will feel amazing. Very hydrating and nourishing.
I’ve never looked too much into Pixie because I thought it was too much money for drugstore but in looking at the products you mentioned they seem pretty affordable and I want to try the lip balms! They look so pretty. Color corrector seems interesting as well
I was influenced by that Tir Tir foundation too but it had bad reviews on AMZN so I decided not to buy it. I found out that some big influencers were paid thousands of dollars to promote it. Glad I didn’t fall for the hype this time because usually I do 😂😂. I’m thinking of getting the milky toner though.
LOL, I fell for it, but I won't next time!! It wasn't horrible on me, but def did not look flawless. It did settle into my pores in the t-zone... after watching Jen's really informative video on how the industry works, I know better now.
I don't know if you tried Targets Mix bar fragrances, but Coconut Palm is one of my favorite scents. I didn't like the others. They sell it at some CVS as well. I get a lot of compliments on it.
Btw, I found that Loreal Magic Perfecting Base on Amazon for $9.99 as I was checking out that DHC velvet skin coat. (You probably know this already but I thought I'd mention it.)
Jen I just want to give you a shout out and a big thank you! Relatively recent subbie but had hip surgery a few days ago and I’ve been binging your videos for days, like comfort food! Have also ordered a few things. I just love your relaxed vibe while still always giving all the info we need! I am 68 years old. I also have dry skin. Pores aren’t an issue for me but I do have texture and lines. I just ordered the Elf Liquid Poreless Putty primer even though I haven’t bothered with primers for years. Would love to hear your thoughts about using smoothing primer under the eyes, and which primers/foundations help blur texture and lines (though you have hardly any ☺️) The DHC Velvet skin coat is so nostalgic..it’s been quite awhile but I did use DHC products for several years and I remember loving it ! Keep up the great work, I love your videos!! 🤗🤗🤗
I bought Boardwalk Delight perfume based on your recommendation last yr, and absolutely LOVE it ❤ I'll also have to try that Pacifica fragrance sampler too. I have one of their perfumes, Persian Rose, and LOVE it ❤ It literally smells like real roses. I LOVE coconut scents, and am interested in that one body spray, but the others sound good too.
I'm not sure exactly what it is as I just started watching the video, but your look today is breathtaking. You look very fresh, happy and healthy! (Not that you don't typically look beautiful!) There is something different today! Stunning!! And as always, great content - love starting my day with one of your videos!
Yes you can technically still get it but it's from third party sellers usually. L'oreal told me that they discontinued it. :( I do have some backups thankfully! 🥰🥰🥰
LOVE your pixi back for the dreaded dark eye corner caverns, and can’t wait to try the tirtir white compact. I was able to get the silver-it was dry, and settled in my wrinkles, so I returned it. Very intrigued by your reviews of the skincare, and the Redken. Going broke now, but having fun! Thanks for another great video!
Your hair looks great! I have the Lange hair tool but have not been able to get my hair to look the way yours does. I’m going to check out the Pixi products. I have the loose powder and really like it.
I ordered the Tir Tir cushion foundation a few weeks ago and i like it so i use it in rotation among others. I ordered it on Amazon and had to return for a better shade for me. Today I’ve ordered base on your suggestion the Tir Tir toner, ampoule and cream. Looks promising! I have always wanted to try Kbeauty so here i go on my Korean beauty! Thanks Jen!
Hi Jen. Regarding the Redken, I’ve used the line for years. The black bottles are newer and are geared for fine hair. You might prefer the version with the holographic-like label or their newest version, Acidic Bonding Curls. Love your videos!!
I have that same darkness near the outer corner, at the fold, too. I use Catrice Under Eye brightener for color correcting that area and inner. I use the pink one "Light Rose." Not too emollient, dare I say matte. But not. If that makes any sense.
I've never tried Pixi but I always thought their products looked interesting. Might have to give them a go! Will you be reviewing the new ELF products like the spf lip gloss and soft glam foundation? Would love to hear your thoughts on those and see a review!
i never tried the loreal primer you love so much, but it looks and sounds a lot like the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch primer. maybe try to get a sample or a travel size to try.
I'm so intriged by the tirtir products. I'm 45 and have dry akin like you do so when you recommend skincarr and really like it... I'm influenced haha!!
Have you tried to insert Tirtir's refill into the red case? I was able to do that with some cushion foundations from the same company, just two different types, just like what you have atm.
I have the Boardwalk Delight Hair & Body Mist by Skylar sitting right next to me. It is just now about empty :( i have a Skylar Scent Club subscription and i get discounts on everything and then new rollerballs for $20 each month, free shipping if you wind up spending - i think - $35 or $50. Otherwise shipping is $4.95. I almost always add to my monthly "bag". I really love Boardwalk Delight. Also, Salt Air is another regular repurchase! (Fresh & really airy n beachy.)
@JenPhelps I don't know the Tatcha cream, so maybe you're looking for a certain kind of texture...however, I wondered if you've ever tried products from Pyunkang Yul? It's a Korean brand like TirTir, and my very dry, sensitive skin loves it! In my latest Yesstyle haul I've added a few new brands to try - a mini of the TirTir milk toner, the Cosrx Propolis toner, Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence & the Balancium Cream Mist - to try out, just to see if I can do even better. But, back to my tip, I've also ordered my current favourites: Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner and the Nutrition Cream. They also have the Intensive Repair Cream and the Moisture Cream in the blue line (I'm curious about their calming line, this might be something for you as well! ), but the latter is more suitable for oily skin. The Intensive Repair Cream is very thick and ideal in mid winter when you need a little bit of extra. My daily moisturiser is currently the Nutrition Cream; the word says it all. Before that I add some toner to my hands and massage into my skin. I absolutely love the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. It hydrates so well and makes my skin super soft. At the moment I basically use the Essence toner and the Nutrition Cream, and I add a spray of Dr Jart+ Ceramide Cream Mist to that when needed during the day. But I mostly wanted to tip you the Essence Toner & Cream. Pyunkang Yul also doesn't use fragrance in their products. At least not in the blue line that I've tried. PS. I am a huge advocate of having a mist close by, though. In summer I often use a cooling/ calming spray, or even simply foodgrade rosewater (no alcohol) in a spray to spritz during the day (due to pernicious anaemia my temperature centre has been damaged and I get very ill in anything above 23°C & from around 18°C I start to sweat a lot; absolute hell if you suffer from eczema. By using spray I avoid sweat induced eczema 😊.) In winter, particularly if I'm in a room with central heating or air-conditioning, my skin just needs a little extra ever since menopause has made my dry skin give the Sahara a run for its money. A Ceramide Cream mist keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day & the skin barrier intact. However, if you use foundation I'm not sure how such a mist affects your makeup.
Thank you for your detailed, comprehensive reviews of products! I can always count on you for the best color and texture descriptions!! I'm going to buy the PIxi corrector for the outer eye corners - I have the same issue as you! And i'm going to buy the Pixi hydra treat lip product. BTW - you always look beautiful, but your eyebrow color and application is especially on point!!
glad you liked the DHC primer although it didn't live up to your Loreal, at least almost. i have to buy more of it using your link cause i am going to buy more anyway. thanks
It's really nice and I love how lightweight it is. I'm definitely going to use it in the summer...I used to always skip the L'Oreal in the warm weather because it was thick and heavy so this is perfect!
Hi Jen; looking very pretty! I am excited about the cushion foundation and the skin care you bought. I used to buy the Amore Pacific cushion foundation and I would love to find a similar product, less expensive than the Amore Pacific.
Jen got a tip from another UA-camr, Laura Rae Beauty, who ws also doing a piece on the tir tir cushion foundation. Her suggestion was making your own. Amazon sells the compact and sponge, you just add your favorite foundation.
I've seen those empty compacts on Amazon. It's funny...I bet cushion foundations are just a gimmick...it's a liquid formula just in a different package. :)
I bought those empty cushion compacts & always intended to put spf in one & a moisturizer/foundation mix in the other. I still have the compacts, thank you for reminding me :)
I’d be nervous to put my foundation from its bottle into a cushion compact-it is formulated with a preservative system that is stable in its original packaging but not necessarily in a compact. Every time you use the cushion compact you are exposing the foundation to air and whatever is on the sponge, where if you’re pumping it from the bottle to your hand you don’t have those concerns.
Pixi sheer gel blushes are so underrated. Pixi also made a great tinted moisturizer called the Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal. I know they have the h20 skin tint but thats definitely geared towards oily skin, which i don't have.
Love this video!! I would love to try almost ALL of these products. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to but I’ve picked out a few to purchase & try. Thanks for a wonderful video!!
Great video..I'm glad you like the Tir Tir skincare items..I got them also with foundation after watching Robert Welch....I will say that the first thing I thought today was your hair looked great.......I like you in darker hair but I still felt your hair looked very healthy and your skin looks great...I'm on a no buy year going to use up my skin care I have..but oh well!
Amazon has citygoo eye stick with snail and peptides which is a fraction of price of roc and I love the loreal base as well something similar is at dollar tree which I have been enjoying. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
I recently tried out the Pacifica Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Body Serum, and I LOVE it! It makes my skin feel so supple and soft after applying, and I highly recommend it! The only thing I don’t like is that it is a spray so it can be a bit messy. I usually just spray it in my hand to apply it and it works great. After you use this retinol lotion, I would recommend the Pacifica one to try
I've used DHC products for many years and really like them. The Velvet Skin Coat is one of my favorite primers. It covers so well and my makeup (foundation, etc.) goes on so well over it, looks great. Check out some of their other products too.
Your looking pretty as always Jen! Thanks for your honesty. Also, I’ve been using a sunscreen that I think you might like-Holika Holika aloe soothing essence spf50++++. It’s very moisturizing and soothing and beautiful. It’s waterproof too
I love your nails Jen and this is the first time I've seen the no glue ones and I am going to get some. Thank you so much and I love the show and tell videos especially the ones with helpful reviews. I was going ask what you were using on your neck because the lines are not showing very much at all. I saw your short video on the body mist & dupe scents. Thank you Jen for a wonderful video full of great products.🥰❤❤💖💗🌹🌺🌸💐

😊 Will look forward to your review of that ROC product. Hope it works!
Cushion-Y bingo! 34:08 love you Jen!!!
What fun! So many great products. I wish you demoed the lange; your hair looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
I just appreciate you so much !
Oh my goodness I don’t know if I’ve ever seen you in yellow/gold but you look stunning!!! 😍
Love you Jen!
Jen,
Thank you so much. You have loads of great product info! You Scored for sure in a good way 😊🌹
glad you liked the DHC primer although it didn't live up to your Loreal, at least almost. i have to buy more of it using your link cause i am going to buy more anyway.
@@JenPhelps And probably a lot less of the foundation than what you get in the usual form!
@@SightWordMovies the lady I watched only didn't fill it up.
You look stunning in yellow! Thank you for another great video. We all appreciate you so much ❤
What a nice variety of products. Always interesting, never boring. ❤
22:54 I have the same outer corner darkness…. Going to order the Pixi…
I LOVE Pistachio Please by Finery! It has been my go to spring scent.
The Redken acidic colour gloss heat protectant is the ONLY one I have tried that doesn't make my hair go crusty after I've curled it
Great video..I'm glad you like the Tir Tir skincare items..I got them also with foundation after watching Robert Welch....I will say that the first thing I thought today was your hair looked great.......I like you in darker hair but I still felt your hair looked very healthy and your skin looks great...I'm on a no buy year going to use up my skin care I have..but oh well!
Gotta go get the mega slicks now! Can’t beat $2ish. Also need to get to target and try the body sprays! 😍
Those creme wet 'n wild glosses are terrific. I picked one up because it was so cheap, but repurchased because it was so good.
That sounds wonderful!
I’ve used the wet n wild lip gloss and can’t believe how good they are
I've used DHC products for many years and really like them.
It’s waterproof too
Sounds great! :)
My hairdresser used the acidic gloss on my hair, I am highly highlighted, I don’t think it worked very well, I love the acidic bonding one, tho!
I'm still using the GoPure Neck cream that I did a video on a while ago. I love it!
I use to love the No Por Blem primer from Touch N Sol.
