At last, a proper tutorial on this system which I have for my tamiya truck! Thank you so much! Still have to work out how I find which are channels 1,2,3,and 4 on my transmitter, but I'm a lot closer now than I was an hour ago! 🚛💡😊.

I think calibrating killers the hazards function. Mine worked till I calibrated it. I got it back missing with end points. Still very pick to get it working. The best thing is not to calibrate to radio in first place. It worked very well till I done the calibration. I got mine back in 2020. Like to find a way to return to before calibration. Great looking build.
thanks for the great feedback. I was not aware if you calibrated it that the hazards would stop working. It is an ok kit but could have been a little better thought out.

great explaining and great video.im asking that im watching and dont see an esc anywhere. does the gt power module have an esc in it or do i have to get an esc also. im assembling my 1st truck, a gran hauler.

Yep! I don't have an mfc but for half the price it's a good deal. I wouldn't buy the mfc.

Thank you your doing a great good but I'm using a spektrum DX6R Pistol grip remote that has android in it I charge to connector to traxxas and I'm installing this into a trx6 snap-on hauler
Can this be used for the Tamiya Toyota Tundra high lift? I’m deciding if I can use GT Power or Tamiya MFC-02 pickup truck system. Please let me know.
You can use it but it only has the 1 diesel truck sound. So if you like that sound then you can use it for any vehicle.

How did you do the setup on your FSi6x to be able to switch between the mode with the Normal/sport mode ?
I didn't do it on tge remote. I use the panel on the truck.

It could be the type of esc you are using. I used a hobbywing 1060 and it works well. Also I am using a flysky fs i6s reciever.
Can you help or do you know?
If you have 3 trucks with ob1 v3.1m in them and 3 trailers with ob1 v3.1s in them but switch and change combinations as you wish?

The taillights are from a tamiya grand hauler truck. I can do a calibration video but it will be on my Facebook. I will link it in tgis video.
bonjour j'ai un problème avec le le gt power, je n'arrive pas a avoir le neutre sur le manche de marche avant et arrière et de plus pas la lumière veilleuse rouge avec les phares et pas de bruitage accélération et frein, le stop s allume bien mais enclenche la marche arrière , je revient au neutre et la la marche arrière s'enclenche et le feux de recul fonctionne.
ma radio est une FSi6 vous est il possible de me communiquer vos paramètres système et fonctions svp

i am trying to install the 60 amp gt power light and sound kit in my grand hauler. i am having alot of difficulty trying to get it to work. i connect servos like the instructins sat and the leads coming out of the unit accodingly. i m reaching out to you because i believe you are in the usa. i am in buffalo ny and i am having trouble getting anyone to reply. any help would be greatly appreciated
Did you follow the process in this video? Also there is a programming process to get things to work. You have to do that correctly or it won't work.
@@RCConstructionHobby I think so. The servos work fine when I bypass the unit and just plug into Rc. Where I get screwed up is where do the 4 leads that come out of the unit. What would be the right connection order from top to bottom. I guess the 5th and bottom wire is for sbus and I’m not using that. I see your in Toronto and I’m in buffalo and would love to talk to you at some point to explain if you would . This email crap is annoying and can’t get a reply from anyone and if so, it’s very confusing. I am trying to use a radiometer mt12 surface radio and 5 ch Rx.
@@RCConstructionHobby yes ive watched the video many times. on my rx ch 1 is throttle ch2 is steering ch 3 is the gear shift and ch4 is the 5th wheel servo. i dont know what the 4 wires on the unit are and what channel they plug into the rx. in other words is the top 1 steering and the 2nd 1 is steering ,. is the 3rd 1 gear and 4th for the 5th wheel . thats where i get stuck. also i dont have any lights plugged in yet, i was just testing the servos. do the lights have to be connected for it to work . i dont know
at the 2:28 point of the video I show how the servo wires are connected and where they should be connected to. The 4 wires coming from the GT power go to the reciever. The wires from the steering servo and other servos connect to the gt power. Hope that clears that part up. Then you need to calibrate it. at 10:30 that is the calibration setup.

Hello…The coupler switch of my gt pro eu unit is not working but when it is connected it sounds that the coupler is connected through the system.but it does not increase the power of the motor what could be the reason for this? my radio is fs-i6 i did calibrate the unit also but still motor doesnot have full power..🙁 what could be the reason?
What battery are you running? 2s or 3s? Not sure why the coupler would get affected. Check tge cable connections to see if something is not in the right spot.

How would you compare this to original GT Power you did a video on already?
This is better as far as sound and light functionality. It's also nice to have the app and manage lights from there. If I had to choose between this and a tamiya mfc I would take this. Half the price for about the same features. And smaller in size too.
@@RCConstructionHobby Yeah that's fair, I wouldn't mind a follow up video once you've got your cement mixer drum working and how you integrated it with the GT Power Pro, or if you ended up just installing an ESC and directly connected that to the receiver. I say that because I'm interested in building a dump truck so wanted to know how a second motor would be hooked up if at all
I wouldnhave to connect a second esc for the drum. So a separate red and black to the battery. Not sure if I would do a video for youtube but I will post one on my Facebook page if that helps.

I think that if you do the calibration that is what causes the issue with the hazards not working.

Yes you can. As long as the voltage is 7.4v or higher

hello bonjour, j'ai un petit problème , pouvez vous me faire connaitre votre réglage de votre radio ayant la même, car sur le manche 6 (av et ar ) je n'arrive pas a avoir les veilleuses rouge avec les lumières , lorsque je revient au point mort j'ai bien la led qui s'allume faible puis plus forte tout le reste fonctionne correctement, merci a vous de me répondre
c'est les freins quand ça s'allume ?
@@RCConstructionHobbyokai pour les freins ,mais la leds a 2 intensité faible en début (ce qui correspond a l'éclairages)et forte en fin de course la ce sont les freins , par contre je ne sais comment calibrer les manches

I can't sync channel 1,2,3,4 can you help me please
go to 10:35 in the video and I show you how to do it. Start with Channel one and then do that again for channel 2 and then do it for channel 3 then channel four. Just repeat step 1 for the other steps but with the stick that corresponds with the channel. I showed channel 1 in the video but you will then move channel 2 stick and repeat the calibration button steps. hope that helps
the problem I have is that the front wheels do not turn and the transmission channel in that channel are the intermittent is somewhat confusing
