  • Here's a one family owned, super low miles, GMC Sonoma SLS! The truck has only 32k miles on it! And if that's not unbelievable enough, it also has a supercharged 4.3L V6 and a Transco built automatic transmission with a shift kit! The engine is a the original 4.3L with a Powerdyne Supercharger, MSD 6A box, MSD wires, Granatelli mass air flow sensor, JBA Cat4Ward headers, dual Flowmaster exhaust, complete K&N air intake system, air conditioning, and power steering! The truck was dyno'd between 400-425hp! This is the factory SLS sport edition of the Sonoma, so it came with a posi-trac rear end, lowered suspension (plus 1 inch of aftermarket rear lowering), and sway bars. The truck has had the front brakes upgrade to larger calipers and cross drilled/slotted rotors to slow all the new found power down! The battery has been relocated to a very cleanly installed box in the bed. Inside you'll find an interior that still looks and feels brand new! It has bucket seats, fold down rear seats, factory CD player, power windows, power mirrors, power doors, and there's a custom center console for the B&M ratchet shifter and Autometer boost and vacuum gauges that looks factory as well! The truck is equipped with an anti theft system from the factory to keep all your stuff safe too! The exterior of the truck shows just how little use this thing has gotten! The paint is in great shape, it has a Truxedo bed cover, the bed is Rhino-lined, and it has an attractive set of 17 inch American Racing wheels with sticky Yokohama ES100 tires! (225/45/17 fronts and 275/40/17 rears) The truck comes with a Crane Cams PowerMax power tuner in case you ever need to have the dealership look at something. The truck can have the tune returned to stock for that. This Sonoma is as clean and sharp as they come! All the right products and equipment were used to build this subtle rocket ship!

The headlamps and dash lights on my 98 Sonoma SL 4.3 TBI Vortec have been mildly pulsing since I got it. I've heard its a common alternator ground issue. Any thoughts on this?

Whats the PSI on the turbo? I have a 99 SLS and want to beef it up a bit without spending to much. I also don't want to ruin the original 4.3...

milldabeast519 da beast : if the boost gauge is right it's only running 7-8 psi which is what most centrifugal superchargers put out with kits like that. That truck would be lucky to make 300hp. 7-8 psi is around a 50% increase. That 4.3 might have made 195HP.
