I think the team is going to stay in Sacramento, and Vegas will get the expansion team it desires. Vivek and Arctos Sports aren’t going to lay out money, unless there was some sort of guarantee. It wasn’t Sacramento or Vivek that undercut the A’s in Oakland. The A’s were undercut by the politicians in Oakland and Alameda County for years. They were undercut by their rivals, the Giants, who wanted the entire Bay Area as their exclusive market.
