    Do we need to register in order to get protected about the copyright issues you are talking about??

      If you don't register, you are "protected" but not really..."Copyright exists from the moment the work is created. You will have to register, however, if you wish to bring a lawsuit for infringement of a U.S. work" --copyright.gov
      Like the video says, bringing something to court is big bucks. And if you are not registered, the accused party will not have to reimburse your legal fees if you win.
      Even if you don' t register with the copyright office, you still own the work and so can upload it to streaming services, get sync licenses--exploit it however you would like! But you won't be able to sue anyone for infringement if they exploit the song as their own.
