I don’t watch trailers and there were 2 things that absolutely stuck with me after the movie: the sound track and this Angela Bassett scene. I went to find this scene and didn’t even know it was in the trailer. At the time of seeing the trailer, I don’t think anyone knew the context of the scene but when you watch it in the movie, it cuts worse cuz then you know what happened to make her say it.

Her acting was one of the best actings that i ever seen in my life. It was so heavy and impactful in the same time. You rly can feel her pain during her speech. She deserves a oscar !
The thing that is crazy is that this entire speech could be said by Shuri at the end of the movie (when she's fighting Namor for example) and word for word be 100% accurate.

She means T'Chaka, T'Challa and SHIRI, because this speech in being done in the throne room addressing her people. I believe that quick glimpse of the Black Panther is Shiri facing off against Namor in the middle of the movie and she doesn't come out the winner in that fight. This movie is going to be the most epic ever.

I thought she overacted, reminded me of Al Pacino and Gary Oldman in their later years. If they put these 3 in a movie, they will be shouting to each other the whole movie lol
