- In todays video we set ourselves a little challenge. It was to catch school mackerel in the bay using three different methods. The methods used were trolling, casting and using bait. The pillies ended up being the most successful method.

Well done guy's a good video to watch , the pillies you bought looked great, something to try instead of putting your hooks through the side of the bait bring them up from under
and put the top hook in the jaw of the pillie, they look better in the water and you get a good hook up, PS I also troll them the same way.

There’s some out there atm eh. Lots of little ones though unfortunately. Great fun fish. I usually just use paravanes and spoons but there’s not much sport in that.
