- Twisted Development built us this incredible motor for Ping's YZ125. Jamie said it's the fastest 125 motor he's ever built. There's only 1 speed for this thing and it's wide open! No words, very little music, and just that sweet two stroke sound. So crisp you can almost smell the ETS premix through your screen!

Pings love for YZ 2 strokes has me convinced to get back to mixing gas. 9 more months of grad school and I’m scooping up a new yz125. Hell yes!

Ping wants another gear ⚙️ squuezing all that she got! There is truly something so gnarly when the 125’s in the meat of the powerband, make’s me want to go back and watch the nationals back in the 90’s and early 2000’s again! Therapy for the ears 👌🏼.

Would love to get an in depth test on a yz250 with different flywheel weights. Don't really hear much about them anymore, but many of the top pros used to run them. So I'm told. Might get me back on a 2 stroke if I knew exactly how they affected a bike from the man himself!!!

Looks and sounds so awesome on the pipe, sounded a little fat on the bottom though... that thing is probably a little sensitive to the higher elevation there.

@@williamleonardo8478 Don't these current gen yz125s ('22 & up) have a power jet since the factory switched to the Keihin carb? I know the Mikuni TMX of the previous gen ('05-'20) like what I ride didn't have power jets. Never felt like it'd benefit them either.
Fun fact -- Jeff Emig's yz125 that his dad and/or uncle wrenched on when he was racing in the early 90's had the pilot jet blocked off. Only had a main jet circuit. Crazy!
