Dude, your tone is amazing!!! Always a pleasure to watch your demos and listen to Sylosis and your solo stuff. Perfect combination of clarity and brutality
These riff examples have big Chuck schuldiner energy. I realise this pack has been out awhile but I missed it. Swept up in all the neural craziness of the last few months. I'll see if it's available tomorrow.
I`m amazed with these sounds honestly. I was very sceptical at begining and honestly some early sounds very bright etc, from early expansion packs. This one is just amazing.
Hey Josh, sounds sick as expected! Thanks for some insight into how you mix guitars, any chance we could get a full mix walkthrough of one of your demos? They always sound so sick! I also have your first 2 Kemper packs, how does this fare against those?
Hey Josh! This plugin is my favorite! I had a question I couldn’t find an answer for, what gear did you guys use on Edge of the Earth? The atmosphere is incredible! Thanks for everything man!

Josh, I find that this STL is less muddy and less bassy compared to any of 3 JTM Kemper Packs. Maybe could You do similar video but for Your Kemper packs :)?
The whole pack is great! My favorites so far are Archon 1 Laney 1 and Peavy XXX as I was blown away by the sound of that amp from the demo you did years ago, cheers!
Looks so promising! Question, though... Do these sound as good for Fishman Fluence Modern actives (or any actives) as for passives? Sometimes these demos sound great in one, then I buy and doesn't sound as good with the other.
Your guitar tones always sound great! Do I have to own Stl Tonehub to use these presets or is the software needed to use the presets included in the price?
PANCHITO13 the presets included in the demo sounded pretty rough to me, like they needed a lot more processing to finesse them. However the new Josh Middleton pack sounds amazing from his demos
Sounds great! I just wish I could get such tones on my setup, but I have hard lags and disturbing sounds whenever I try STL or Neural DSP stuff (using a steinberg UR22 as interface). It's just hard to find the right settings for my system, I guess.
Check your sample rates and CPU utilization? Before I upgraded to an 8 core CPU I had playback lag and sound artifacts on my plugins during playback. I'm using the Neural Nolly and Plini packs and CPU utilization is much higher than the older free VST packs I was using.
@@ecalhoun1682 That's possible - I played with the sample rates, for sure. But,m of course, the higher I go, the higher the latency and you can't track real time with such a lag. I have pretty dated I5 in my system, that could really be the problem.
James Brown wasn't even at Peavey when they switched to 6505. The components changed. The transformer manufacturer changed. I mean, why can't Marshall make their JCM800 reissues sound like their 80's amps then? The 6505's even switched the power amp board to use the same as in the plus model.. At the end of the signature line, the transformers started being made by a different manufacturers.. Sometime after the 6505 release, the power boards were changed out. It was probably cheaper to just manufacture one type of power board. The pots are different. Open your amps up dude! The pots on the 5150 are open, where in the 6505 are sealed. The pots might be a small difference, but you start adding all this stuff up together and they're gonna sound/fell different. ;) If not, all clones with different components, different layout but same circuit, would sound identical to the originals. The differences you hear are the same as I have experienced between having em all, including blocks, except the 6534+... And it's not just the tubes. The tubes make a difference, but transplant the same tubes between the amps and you shall hear. In my case, 2 blocks remain. But I'll say this.. Some people will prefer the newer ones. Some the older ones. The newer ones are a bit smoother, and cross between a block and +, but a little more tilted towards the block because the input components play a huge role as far as filtering the guitar signal. The New Chinese ones are even supposed to have some improvements like with the ribbon cables, but supposedly have other manufacturing issues.. I haven't compared those. I went down enough rabbit holes, and my current one is with the stealth. I'm comparing the 100s and 50s next month. I have the 100s..waotjng on the 50s. So far, for my usage, the block stays, but the 50 is supposed to have improved green and blue channels plus midi. I will open these things up and check out what the differences are and perhaps mod the 100s to what I like about the 50s if I like the 50s. The red channel on the 100s is great for liquid leads, but I didn't dig the green/blue very much.
I want to use STL, but I still cant figure out the secret to getting no delay from playing a note and hearing it. Ive been bound to Line 6 pod for 10 years due to this. Yes I have a scarlett DI but that doesnt do anything.
If you have a DAW such as Cubase, Reaper, Protools, Studio One ETC just plug your scarlett into your computer, a decent computer, open a daw, create a track, set the correct input, and then go to the options or settings and reduce the sample rate to 128 or lower if you can. Sounds like you are having latency issues, which is what happens with higher sample rates. Once you get higher than about 256 you start to have noticeable latency.
Hey @@thehoppo , sorry if bother you with this question but can you please tell me what brand of tubes you have in this 100W Stealth? I’ve got this same actual EVH amp and it definitely doesn't sound as good as the tones I hear in Josh's Tonehub Pack or in Josh's demo videos for his Kemper packs.
Thank you@@thehoppo! My 100W Stealth still has the stock Shuguang 6L6 power tubes (and JJ preamp tubes) it came from the factory with but the old regular (non Stealth) 100W 5150III I previously owned has got JJ 6L6 matched power tubes and it definitely sounded better than this current Stealth version.
No 7 strings in Architects. Just 6 strings. C# standard tuning but the lowest string sometimes goes down to a G# or F# but the rest of the strings stay the same
Most of them sounded great but there are some settings with the swooshing high frequency range that is annoying on standard tuning. How do you tame them with what frequency range in fab filter?
I'm here for the riffs
The riffmeister did it again. Seriously, you have to make an instrumental album with all your riffs.

Your tones are always MASSIVE!! Sounds incredible. BTW, what are you using for bass and drums?
I've learned more useful information from Professor Middleton in short UA-cam videos for FREE than any tuition based education I ever received.
Was not ready for how good that first 'raw' tone was.
Was definitely ready for the riffs 🤘 favourite guitarist.
Insanely sick tones. Love the guitar work and the guitars too.
Such a sick sound. And the riffs are mental.

I've tested your pack man. It is really the best thing I've used so far related to virtual amps, even real amps:P
You gotta show us how you add and mix the bass and drums!
Brutal. Awesome explanation on some of the EQ moves you use too. Sounds super tight with just EQ and a tiny MB Comp...

Bad ass!!! Those first riffs giveth me a Chimaira vibe for sure
These tones are so killer, thanks Josh!
Been hoping you would do this for a while, First payday I'll be getting it
Some time ago a had a dream about collab of Andy James and Josh Middleton!
This pack is awesome. The tones have such a tight low end compared to the others I’ve tried.
