Usually first lessons are more hands on with the instructor on standby because accidents like that can turn people off from weaving permanently but not you- you shine ✨ right through. That loom looks confusing but what amazing skill to learn . Love your art journals and do you mind me asking where you sourced your beautiful tiles at the back of your rayburn please? I used to have a wood rayburn - they are the best .
I'm starting my first weave today, it's been tricky threading and counting. I'm definitely always going to use my rigid heddle too, they are such lovely looms to work on 😍

Weaving a 8 shaft loom is hard. I went back to the Rigid Heddle looms.
