Just a note on UK Law. Under normal circumstances you can remain silent and you have a right to have a lawyer with you. Unfortunately when you're arrested under the Terrorism act you don't have the right to remain silent - in fact its an offence to do so. You have to give up your passwords and they don't have to release you afer 24 hours. Craig Murray's advice is that when asked a question you should be as verbose as possible, e.g. if you're asked about who you've talked to include every innocuous and irrelevant conversationand and even mention those who you've not talked to but could have, like anyone you might have passed in the street.
