- Power - it is not only one of the main ingredients that goes into making a hero but the mark of being one as well. Some superheroes start off powerful. Some join the ranks of the great after inheriting a great power. Whatever the case, there comes a time when a hero must show the world what he or she is made of. And that brings us to the topic of today’s video on The TV Regent - the Top 10 Superhero Power Demonstration Scenes in Movies.

That's ok
Lol
wow slow up bro eh during the A BOMB scene with wolverine he didn't actually have his adamantium skeleton at this point this is a good 40 years before colonel striker he was with his original skeletal structure
Actually an important detail you get wrong is that when wolverine took the blast that was way before he got the adamantium skeleton so he really did take the full blast with no help
I was going to comment this. Thanks for being knowledgeable!
He didn't take a huge blast, just immense heat. So his skeleton didn't take any crazy forces. His flesh just burnt. If there was any strong blast forces the man that he was standing over would have died. That piece of metal would not have saved him from the concussive forces, as it was not even big enough to cover his whole body. So the explosive forces would have still crushed him. Apparently you and 55 other people weren't able to deduce this. It seems like such an obvious thing that simply, common sense, should have allowed you all to understand this.
I was gonna comment this as well but you beat me to it. But what about the radiation of course wolverine would survive but the Japanese soldier would have had some major radiation problems
@@daemonthorn5888 he was within a 2km blast radius. If you ever look at what an atomic bomb does within such short distance, you’d realize that it absolutely demolishes everything in its pass. Immense heat is small talk compared to a bomb. If you’ve ever taken the time to watch hero movies. You’d realize common sense does not apply to apply to them. It’s called fiction. 😂
@@Jeremy-bn5fh The blast radius of the bombs was more than 2km. Concussive damage was reported up to 12km away with the most significant within 3km. The distance observed in the movie appears to be 3-4km across that bay and it shows Wolverine being lifted up by the force. Ultimately the question is just how much concussive force was there at that point since the human body can start being pushed about by 75mph winds... Personally, I think the heat radiation alone should have been more than enough to crispy both guys and wind up killing the solider, but Hollywood and plot demanded otherwise.
Bruh, Spiderman stopping that train and the people of the city trying to protect him after that - makes me tear up to this day!
Both of us my friend, both of us
The scene with Thor on Nidavellir may be the most powerful feat in the history of Cinema, if you understand the science of a neutron star. With possible exceptions of the time travel scene in Superman 2 and Dr Manhattan just being Dr Manhattan.
It would certainly explain the line "Forged in the heart of a dying star" Implying that Thors hammer is made from neutron degenerate matter, thought to have the highest density of all materials.
To put it into persepctive, lead has a density of 11340 Kg/m3 with Osmium (the most dense stable element) 22570 Kg/m3, a Neutron stars density is estimated to be about 1*10^18 Kg/m3. This means Thors hammer would weigh millions of tonnes and would explain its seemingly unlimited inertia.
Exactly 💯
Not even close. Surface temperature of a neutron star is 1.8 million that is greater than that of a main sequence yellow star but a nuclear bomb which superman tanked is approx 200 million degrees in farenheit which in turn is roughly 4 to 5 times hotter than the core of sun.
@@leeowen4989 You've got it all wrong. Neither mjolnir not the stormbreaker is made of one of even the metals you mentioned or in fact any Earthly element. It's made of Uru which is aa mystical Asgardian metal. That also disproves your claim of mjolnir being millions of tonnes. It's not million of tons it can range from light to infinite weight due to the enchantment placed on it by Odin. If you're worthy, it'll be as light as a normal hammer to you but if you're non-worthy it can weigh limitless.
@@maazahmed506 a nuclear blast might be more intense but only lasts for a fraction of a second... Thor withstood the full intensity of the neutron star for several minutes as he held it open long enough to form the axe... its like the difference between waving your hand through a fire or holding it over a fire... personally I'd rather wave my hand quickly through a really hot fire than hold it over a slightly cooler fire for several minutes
though it would've been funny if Thor opened it up and dr Manhattan was just sitting there on the other side, chilling out, confused at seeing another being at all... and us the audience impressed that dr Manhattan is so OP he can even teleport from the DCU to the MCU haha
Spider stopping the train is the absolute masterpiece of super hero history!
No. It was far too ridiculous. The Spiderman scene makes no sense. The distance that the train travels after he shoots his webs out would mean that those webs stretched unbelievably far. Not only that, but this would also mean that the adhesive itself was so strong that it was able to stay stuck to the buildings while the full weight of a traveling train, stretching super-duper- strong webs, was pulling on it. Also, the buildings themselves must have been made of Adamantium or something, for their walls to not have been ripped loose from taking all of that force as well. The entire scene has so many unbelievable things taking place during it, that's it absolutely crazy.
@@daemonthorn5888 it's fiction you can get away with that stuff. Like when Captain América held back the helicopter even if he had the strength to do that the yellow bar he was holding on to should have broke but I'm not complaining it's a super hero movie and it helps the story continue. If your looking for something to complain about nothing will ever be right. Fantasy is obviously different from reality but we still watch knowing that it's fake to enjoy the moment.
@@daemonthorn5888 that spiderman scene was iconic because it not about how well built those NY buildings were made but about spidermans strength and determination to save those people and the strength of his webs too.
@@daemonthorn5888 is anyone gonna tell him spider-man isn't real?
@@daemonthorn5888 yoooo shiitttt this guy must be fun at parties, ever heard of fiction before?
Stormbreaker was technically the brain child of Odin. He wanted it in case Thor turned out to be like Hela, and he needed to kill him.
Or out-fart him. Lol.
7 minutes into the video, I hear the theme to The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. That is so awesome.
No one mentioning the fact that the sound cuts off during the fight between superman and doomsday lol
Most likely due to copyright issues with the background music.
I thought my phone was fd up

I don't understand how you could have left out Magneto moving the Golden Gate bridge...
Facts, either that or when he nearly extracted all of the metal from the planet. Surprised neither made the cut.
Really he should've just combined all of Magneto's feats ..
Well i think you forgot Scarlet witch Just single handedly taking on thanos
Not Worthy
does that really deserve to be in the top 10 tho?
Thanos wasn’t using his glove also Wanda in the MCU got her power from the mind stone (she actually is a mutant but it was changed in 2015 for MCU plot)
@@Lordchron0s it got changed back in Wandavision; she and Pietro are now both mutants
@@chriskringle6521 THANK FUCKING GOD (Pietro is an Omega class level mutant due to his ability of Chronokinesis in omega chronicles)
Star-lord fights back scene is my second favorite scene of the entire MCU first goes to Thor when he came to earth from neidavellir it just gives me chills I don't know
Star Lord is my favorite MCU character! He is no where near the strongest, but he is the funniest next to Rocket raccoon!
BRING. ME. THANOS.
Magneto lifting a stadium. That was brutal.
Spiderman is actually a extrem strong Superhero. In the comics one can read how strong he is and Andrews Spidey gives us a little clue in No way home where he said he stopped to make his hits softer or something. And in the scene where Toms Spidey causally catches a several tons heavy thing in Civil war is another demonstration of his real Power
In the comics he can casually hold at least several tons of concrete on the tip of his pinky finger...
It's said that he can lift 20000 tons.
You should have contained Wanda Maximioff becoming Scarlet Witch. She is the top power demonstration.
Wanda is The Badass.
Phoenix > Scarlet Witch
@@isaias630 on a power level these two are on the same level only doctor strange is over them
@@thomaskletzl6493 only supreme Dr Strange is over them.lol

Little Known Fact: The reason that the Gauntlet Snap was so difficult on Hulk is because he was fighting against the Soul Stone with everything he had, trying to bring Black Widow back to life.
He even mentions it to Hawkeye later in the movie saying sorry and that he tried as hard as he could but couldn't bring her back. This all on top of Hulk successfully snapping half the the universe back into existence, is why the snap drained him so brutally.
I think he was blocked from the possibility because then their soul stone wouldn’t be there, it was a one time sacrifice
@@monkeybandit222 They talked about how time travel works in Endgame, changing the past doesn't change the future or something like that. So bringing her back doesn't mean they would lose the soul stone because they already have it.
@@Alfabd It's not a time travel rule, it's a soul stone rule, Natasha already paid with her life (and soul) for the stone, no exchanges or refunds. If Natasha were able to come back the the soul stone would have had to have been returned to its location, which would stop hulk's snap, which would stop everyone from being able to return, ergo no Natasha. Monkey Bandit is correct.
Plus, he used an inferior gauntlet.
cap catching thanos punch is better than the helicopter scene
I dont see Wanda Maximoff the scarlet witch creating the hex with all her power
wandavision is a tv show
@@TheTVRegent endgame?
@@TheTVRegent well u gotta do a best scenes for wanda
Excactly! You could just put that Thanos scene in the video, even though it was a very short moment...

Still don't know how Wolverine ' s pants survived Atomic Heat 😎🧐
instead of plot armor its plot pants
I still don't know how he knew what was going to happen. The a-bomb was secret.
same science for when bruce banner transforms into the hulk, his pants survive
It's not that hot.
@@masere It wasn't a secret then. This is the second bomb. The US government had already told everyone what it was and that we were going to drop another if Japan refused to surrender.
Magneto nearly extracted all the metal from the planet, but I guess it's more impressive when he lifted a submarine
did he do it on screen or in the comics? Pretty sure this was only covering on screen events. All of these characters have stunts in the comics that are orders of magnitude greater.
@NevTheDeranged He did it on screen in X-Men Apocalypse
@@dariancathion3475 ah, ok, I didn't see that one, thanks for the heads up!
Quicksilver in the room full of guards was the best power demonstration on film.
Red Witch taking on Thanos has to be in it. Thanos played with and defeated Hulk. Then the vengeful and emotional power of Red Witch came to play to the point that Thanos knew he was beaten, his blade broken, held in the air his body breaking, he instructed his own ship to fire on his army. In that moment, she had beaten him one on one which no other Avenger could.
personally I think Dr Manhattan displays the most power... its not in what he does, its in how he does it... it doesn't matter if he's crushing a tank, growing to 500 foot tall, making a million copies of himself, moving mountains or walking on the surface of a star... he does it all effortlessly, he doesn't even change his expression.
the end scene of the watchmen where dr Manhattan makes his speech about the smartest man on earth being no more of a threat to him than the smartest termite, should've been included... its not a physical display of power but the way he says it, you can feel he's way more powerful than anything shown in this video
while I agree that Dr. Manhattan is one of the most pwoerful beings/ Heros out there, this video was about guys and gals giving it their best. Dr. Manhattan would not fit as he new has to try
Oh shit I forgot the scene when Jean Grey exploded Xavier. That scene made me actually tear up back in the theater. 😭
Awesome video's man, I'm hooked.
Great selection 🔥
I really loved your selections! And you were spot on in choosing this remarkable scene from Spiderman 2 as Number 1! I actually have tears in my eyes as I write this. This scene is so moving. I remember when I watched this movie. Thank you for this really good and well put together video.
Nice video! Keep on the work!
You’re missing the moment Flash reverses time after the Justice League loses.
It's not worthy
That's more worthy then thor or superman and I am a huge superman fan
@@jameeskills8061 felt slightly cringe tbh...too much talk for such a slow and intense moment
@@brianmigwi5408 yeah slow motion is old and they used it in a cringy way
@@_JimMilton that ? is this serious? It's number one by far and I'm not a big fan of DC, I'd think it's a joke
How could you miss Captain Marvel when she completely flies through the Krill ship and then Flexes in front of ronin only for him to retreat.!?
Excellent choice, super video!
Eitri: It'll kill you.
Thor: Only if I die..
😅😭
Wolverin didnt had his Adamantium at Worldwar 2. He regenerated but felt the full pain as always, he knows "that" will hurt a lot but does it anyway.
Excellent!!
I've been saying for years the most powerful thing I've seen in a superhero movie was in Superman 2. Lois Lane died and Superman flew around the world so fast he reversed time. Also in part 4 I believe, he pushed the moon in front of the sun.
I believe that Superman wasn't making the earth rotate backwards but was going so fast he entered the Speedforce to jump back in time.
@@Thurgosh_OG Cool
When the heck was the moon pushed, what movie did I miss. Or is that from the comics where anything can happen?
@@Yolandi. As opposed to cinema? Where anything cannot happen?
You are the best narrator😍👌👍🔥
Loved it.
Well done top class review......
Wolverine never had his Adamantium skeleton/claws until he underwent the weapon x treatment dacades later.
Spider-Man really does follow his Uncle Ben's saying, "With great power comes great responsibility."
Totally loved this - especially #1!
The spiderman scene will be sooo hard to beat from future spidermans. Not just the strength show but the character of spiderman to die before letting other die and the people that simply accept him and help him up...
Word!
Excellent video, Spidey was the right choice for number 1
Wolverine didn’t have adamantium till way after Nagasaki
if he had adamantium they never would have been able to lock him in the pit, he would have cut his way out
Awesome
How can we forget Superman flying so fast he stops, then starts the Earth rotating the opposite direction to turn back time to save his love.
When Cap wielded Miljnor should have been the demonstration
@Mr. Dutch im talking about worthiness
Your way of describing stuff, just make it even more fascinating than it should be.
You got the number 1 spot right, so you got a like.
Well-deserved first place.
LoL talking about the Phoenix Force with the Dragonborn song raging in the background. Heck yea!
No. 1 spot is perfect 🔥
Thanos~ I’m going to snap my fingers in wipe half the universe
Jean grey~ I can do that my walking near people
Loved hearing the Skyrim music at 6:30 😂
Wolverine didn't have his Adamantium Skeleton back when the Atomic Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki in 1945... Which honestly only makes his regenerative abilities _that_ _much_ _more_ impressively powerful.
Getting bonded with the adamantium would have killed Logan if not for his regeneration...And it *continues* to damage him all the time & his regeneration power is *always* working to repair him. Sure, the bonding process itself was excruciating enough as it was, but by surviving the *process* his power is the only thing still *keeping* alive with that metal still inside of him.
@@MidnightDStroyer hmm... I don't think that they ever actually specified in the movies that the Adamantium inside of him was always killing him slowly - sure, in the comics they could dive into that level of detail, but I don't believe they prioritized establishing it as cinema canon.
They did have Rogue ask Logan in the first X-Men movie if his claws hurt when he extends them, and his response was, "every time."
If I'm wrong about it being canon in the OG or First Class franchises, please let me know because I'd be interested to watch the scene for context.
However, I don't count XM Origins: Wolverine as canon in any way, shape or form, since it's generally only accepted by fans as a giant flaming pile of feces. 😂
number 1 deserved the spot
Great list.. Would have loved to see Quicksilver in there somewhere tho.
1:54 love this. Best meme template ever
Neo waking up from the ascension in the first Matrix is still my favorite.
HELL YEAH, NUMBER 1!!
I was gonna be extremely pissed off if it wasn't among the top tier
But still nice vid beside the commerty.. 😆 🤣
At 4:17, the sound seems like it cuts out-just a heads up. Great video!
Fireeeee
3:16 favorite part of the whole movie, superman doesnt die and bro looks angry
6:15 Skyrim theme starts loved it!
7:26 I got goosssebumps as soon as I saw the hand
One of my most favorite sceness
11:06 i think he didnt have adamantium yet
He did didn't he
No he didn't had the adamantium at that moment
But it's not the adamantium that maked him survive but his healing powers that his brother also share
That's why they don't age too much
Until in old logan where he is basically poisoned and it weakens his healing abilities
He received the adamantium in the 90s i think
And logan was already 100+
Going through WW1,2 and others
I’m glad I’m not only one that noticed that 😅
Jean grey is 🔥😘
For magneto I wouldve picked the part in apocalypse’s when he literally rips the fabrics of the earth because there is mantle deep within the Earth…
I know! I was disappointed with his choice of scene for magneto, wouldn't even magneto just slowing down apocalypse be a bigger feat of power than lifting a submarine?
Nobody comes close to power demonstration than the flash reversing time itself
Hahha love the Skyrim soundtrack in the background
That wasn't Jean's native power... But The Phoenix a whole sperate entity with its own set of abilities
The way they carry spider man over their head made me cry 😢
If you do a 3rd installment, you should use the scene in the original Dune where Paul cracks the floor with his voice at the end.
Eclectic 🎉
I love magneto ❤️
0:25 THE TRANSITIONS OMG HELPPP
What about the construction yard fight scene from Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Ghost Rider definitely showcase incredible power.
Ghost Rider had some really underrated movies; I hope he joins the MCU soon
Number one is where it’s at. That’s why Spider-Man is my favorite all time.
Fun fact about spiderman, he is actually one of the strongest superheros on the planet. With his current strength rivaling thor and the thing. In the very first issue it is even stated that once he grows older than a teenager he could be stronger than all but the hulk.
Interesting- where does it say that? Spidey is definitely *way* stronger than the approximately 150x human strength of a "human sized spider", but I dunno about him rivaling the Hulk... I'd need more evidence!
The skyrim music thoo😂😂
Shocker, another channel talking over literally everything. Congrats
Does anyone know what song was used for the background for spidey's section
Wolverine´s pants is also indestructible🤣🤣🤣
#2 - Thor tanks the full force of a neutron star!
Wow, that's amazing! what could possibly be more awesome??
Let's see, uh... yes - #1 Peter Parker stops a... train...?
Wut?
Okay but the Jean Grey/Phoenix section having the Dragonborn (Skyrim) theme behind it made me laugh my ass off 😭
What about superman returns? Where he saves Lois in the plane crash, or when he lifts up the kryptonite island into space?
All of the insane "lift" feats are too cringey and cartoonish now. All that force applied to such a small area and it never collapses. At least Spiderman crushed the front of the train a bit.
Instead of hulk snapping his fingers, you should have used the scene where hulk punches the leviathan.
I have the POWAH! X-men are going to dominate this list. I was expecting older Magneto to be on this list too. Pulling iron out of the guard's bloodstream and later lifting the golden gate bridge. That's worth an honorable mention.
Batman vs super man was so fking good I don’t understand how people didn’t like it
I’m still waiting for top 10 Shang chi scenes p2
Scarlet Witch being one of the most powerful super hero’s, absolutely destroying Thanos in Endgame? Nahhhh, Spitterman save twain!
Anything involving the likes of non-superpowered Batman and Iron-Man should not be mentioned as even Superman floating in the air is above that. Anyway Superman flying round the Earth many times faster than the speed of light to reverse time is the ultimate show of a power.
All to save Louis
TV Regent. Wolverine shielded the Japanese soldier with large piece of steel from the bottom of the hole not his body and he didn't have his adamatium covered skeleton yet.
My fav is Magneto breaking out of prison with 3 ball bearings
Dark Phoenix unleashed X-Men The Last stand, should have been number one and Thor taking on the neutron star should have been number two. Some good selections. Much Luvz for all! ❤
Power doesn't make a hero.
Saving people does.
13:22 hehehe the meme face
What's the name of the background music in the third chapter? where Jean Grey unleashes her power
What song did you use for the outro?
One other thing to note about Spider-Man's power demonstration. This iteration of Spider-Man utilizes organic webbing. He doesn't use web shooters and a formula he created. This is something his body generates.
That only makes it even more ridiculous.
@@daemonthorn5888 It's a movie.
How do you go from watching a nerd who gets the proportional strength a spider, from a radioactive spider-bite, to "His webbing should be weak"
@@slizz376 It's something that logical people understand. You as someone who doesn't understand narrative wouldn't get it.
