@@Iforgotmyusernamedude yeah wtf it seems impossible that it could be that good seeing how the last few MCU movies were so meh. Just an hour and a half of silliness, taika waititi wrote that movie in like 4 days while he was on vacation drinking it seems
The closest MCU moment came to making me cry was Rocket’s cry. It was so good that Bradley Cooper honestly deserves an Oscar for 2023 for best animated actor.
Dude ikr, I actually had to fight my tears for that one. It hit even harder for me, as it was kind of a love story, something I have never experienced in my 18 years of life. For me, Lylla getting shot was like my heart breaking from a lack of love.
I can't believe that there's not even a mention of Tony's sacrifice here. It went from audience cheers to deathly silence within a fingers snap of a second. That weight from the silence was HEAVY too. Easily one of the top 3 for me.
Yea, for sure. Saw this in theatres, people were cheering when Tony snapped but then the consequence set in, went from seat shaking applause and stamping of feet to just cold soul crushing silence. Everyone felt it, from the hardcore fans to the casuals.
exactly my thoughts, i think that should be number one, with thanos about to snap for the second time to wipe half the universe, tony having all the stones arranged in his hand
When I first saw the ending of Infinity War, the entire theater was dead quiet, except for one person crying. Seeing some of my favorite characters just disappear into dust was so shocking for me
@@slayte8341 Slow pace, horrible character development, predicable story details, messy outline. While I agree Isaac's acting was top notch, it just didn't have anything else to offer outside of that. It just felt like a random standalone series on Netflix or something. All the MCU shows have been crap other than Loki and even that show was a bit messy here and there.
Peter was definitely speechless in my experience. He sacrificed his identity to save the multiverse, meaning everyone he ever loved and cared for will forget him. At least he finally learns that with great power comes great responsibility. His death for 5 years hit hard. The reason is that in his previous movie Homecoming, His mentor Tony said to him " If those people died on that boat that would be on you but if you died then that would be on me. I don't want to have that in my conscious." Knowing he was about to die he said I'm sorry knowing that he would cause his mentor damage when he was gone. that scene was sad.
Me too. I still think that particular scene was simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. Heartwarming because Andrew Garfield succeeded where he had failed to save Gwen Stacy before. Heartbreaking because he had saved MJ instead of Gwen and I didn’t know if MJ was going to start dating Andrew Garfield and leave Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
I maintain that the blood on Cap's shield is the most shocking moment listed. Nothing can beat it (in my opinion) for the shear, visceral factor of blood coating such an iconic item. Nevermind the shield though, just how brutal-a-death it was, given the context (the man wasn't who killed Lamar, and they were in a foreign country), surely earns it higher than 5th
Especially since they had John Walker do it in the cap costume, while most adults will get that it’s a different person, can you imagine if someone younger saw that and all they saw was Captain America kills someone like that
I was shocked to see blood on caps sheild Captain America's shield represents truth and justice but john walker dishonered it by killing someone who wasn't responsible for killing his friend. Thankfully sam took the shield and became Captain America!
you can also see how shocking that moment is for Bucky, watching a symbol he always associated with Steve and the only real family he ever had, covered in blood and used to kill someone so brutally
As Dr. Erskine said, “the serum amplifies everything within, so Good becomes Great. Bad becomes Worse.” Where Steve was a genuinely good person who took the serum out of a sense of patriotism, John was already disillusioned and had done terrible things during his time as a soldier, so the serum amplified his demons, including his sense of entitlement from being named Captain America.
Tf no. The only bad thing John did in the whole series was executing the terrorist in public. The filmmakers tried so hard to portray him like he's in the wrong, when in most scenes he acted like a great person even when other people treated him like shit, because he was not Steve. Literary putting him up to standards that are impossible to achieve and then blaming him.
@@ShutterBud420 You mean when Bucky together with Falcon beatdown and broke Walker's arm, because he killed a terrorist who was indirectly responsible for killing Walker's best friend and blowing up a building full with civilians? That guy?

Does #2 belong on a list of Marvel moments that left us speechless? Because when I watch it for the first two times, everyone inside the theater hollered and cheered when cap had that hammer. Everyone was NOT speechless.
Honestly I'd infinitely have preferred that the Quicksilver fake out never happened. That being said, it's why I appreciate Murdock catching the brick in No Way Home, because it confirms the powers, not just illusion.
197: Captain America: Civil War is the only marvel movie I didn’t see in theaters but this shocked me to the core. Plus, I love the fight scene between the three of them
Watching Ayo testing Bucky to see if the Wakandan deprogramming worked at the beginning of episode 4 of FATWS left me speechless. Sebastian Stan did so much with so few words......
I remember so clearly when Keaton opened the door, It was like the air was completely sucked out of the theater. Everyone gasped. It was such an amazing plot twist that IMO still hasn't been topped.
I have said it countless times before: Carl Lumbly should have 100% been nominated for an Emmy. It’s so gross to me that Don Cheadle was chosen over him. Even Don Cheadle was surprised by his own nomination!! Carl Lumbly was so freaking powerful and emotionally nuanced!!
There was a certain moment in the recent Guardians movie that left me speechless, followed by me saying "I can't believe they let him say that. I mean, I get it's PG-13, but still!"
Spoiler: I don't know why Two-Face complains so much anymore. He at least had *something* of a good face left. I mean, sure, what happened to him is bad. But it could have gone so. Much. Worse.
It was marketed heavily though. The first F-bomb of the MCU (and of Disney?) You're allowed to say it only once and after atleast 1 hour and that scene was around the 1:10 hour
Every time I see the end of no way home I tear up. That movie will always have a place in my heart this version Peter Parker went through the most in that movie. Bro really lost it all aunt may and his girlfriend and best friend to save the world. 😮💨😭
The number 1 deserves that spot tbh. When me and my bros watch Infinity War in the cinemas, we're wondering why those people who watched the movie became so sad. After watching the movie, the impact of The Snap still kicking in and that's the main reason why we're all sad after watching Infinity War in theaters.
That was a great list!!!! The moment when all Avengers reappear for the final fight with the music over the top!! Gave me head-to-toe goosebumps and tears in my eyes 😮😢!!
I am disappointed. You totally forgot the biggest moment in MCU, "Iron Man snapping". It seems like you have totally forgot about that moment. That was the moment which made me speechless and emotional. How can you forget about that! You remember to add Kamala Khan being mutant scene but forgot to add Iron Man snapping scene. I am so hurt right now.
*• Moments in the MCU that left us speechless:* 20. Thor goes for the head 19. Kamala Khan is a mutant 18. The cameo of X-men Quicksilver in WandaVision 17. Liz's dad being Vulture 16. Quicksilver's death 15. Marc Spector (Moon Knight) reveals Steven's origins 14. The Mandarin reveal 13. Rhodey's fall in Civil War 12. Isaiah's backstory in "the Falcon and the Winter Soldier" 11. Blood on Captain America's shield (John Walker) 4. Illuminati demise by Wanda 3. Everyone forgeting who Peter Parker is 2. Steve Rogers is worthy to lift Mjölnir 1. The Snap.
No. 8, well technically after hearing Chadwick Boseman passed in 2020 some people would argue they probably saw this coming if they also hadn't knew that his sister Shuri would be taking up the mantle later in the sequel
I grew up with a friend like many other Marvel fans that always envisioned Marvel characters becoming visual. Just like Stan Lee had envisioned. Because I collected the Silver Surfer volume 3 series dating back in the 1990's, I wasn't too surprised of what had occurred during the Avengers Infinity War. What amazed me the most though was the buildup leading to Thanos collecting all six Infinity Stones. And of course, the snap.
i understood ego being forced to take out the person he cared for a lot because of his plan and he knew she would die from it if something wasnt done and her reaction what he was doing is shown to her made me realize sometimes no exceptions are allowed and a sacrifice had to be made, which makes me see him as double crossed by himself and probably had a reason if he continued after “i know that sounds bad” but a consequence came up for how much Peter saw his mom as a worthy love and care
What do you think Gamora from the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies would be like if she met the Gamora from the Vol.3 who's replaced Starhawk as leader of the Ravengers?
Dead. Still dead. Just like she will ALWAYS be dead. That was the price for the Soul Stone. Whoever was sacrificed would die PERMANENTLY. That's why Bruce couldn't bring Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) back. That was the resistance he felt when he tried. The cost for access to the Soul Stone is inherently woven into the fabric of the entire universe in which they live, and is a PART of the Infinity Stones. Thus, using the Infinity Stones to try to bring such a sacrifice back would fail, because they wouldn't work in concert. The Soul Stone would 'demand' to keep it's cost.
Captain America Civil War is definitely in my Top 3 MCU movies. At the time it was the most dark and brutal MCU movie. When Rhodey hit the ground my entire theater was audibly shocked
The loudest cheer I have ever heard in a theatre was of Captain lifting the hammer. The audience went nuts. BUt that snap by thanos was most shocking. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MOVIE WHERE THE VILLAIN WINS SO CONVINCINGLY
God, the whole theater *erupted* on opening night when Cap caught that hammer. You’d think it was the Olympics or the World Cup. Still get chills remembering it.
The Snap was good but didn't leave us speechless as we knew it would be reversed. I still think Captain America cinching up his broken shield to his damaged arm and hobbling out to take on the entire army of Thanos left me speechless. He didn't know the portals were going to open. He didn't know what had happened to Ironman, Thor or the rest. It was just Captain America against tens of thousands. Amazing.
No. 3, to be fair this handled a lot better than "One More Day" was, and this moment made Tom's Peter into Spider-Man from the comics from the early Lee and Ditko days and I love it for that 🕷️🕸️❤️💙
I remember seeing Infinity War in theaters when it came out When the snap scene happened and even into the end credits, the whole theater barely said a word
No. 1, I'll admit it was surprising to see Thanos actually won in "Infinity War" at first watching it at the Century Santa Fe Station and IMAX the other heroes' deaths didn't hit me that much so it really wasn't that big of a deal to me but when it turned out that Tom Holland's Peter Parker was one of the few unlucky casualities of the snap and seeing him die in Tony's arms was heartbreaking and became my problem seeing him go like that and movie end like the heroes had actually lost after the movie was over I was crying all the way home and brought back a Spidey plush after that from day to night after watching that ending, can you believe that?
When I first saw John Walker (the new Captain America) brutally murder that Flag Smasher using the shield, it just left me without any words. Something about seeing blood on the shield just feels.... very unnatural to me
Having Steve convince them to give up the scepter by whispering Hail Hydra was genius. Not only was it a shocking moment, but a great easter egg to the comics.
I believe MJ's love for Peter might get the spell reverse(his existence could come back) and I hope he search for Mysterio's employees who helped frame him.
I think the mandarin scene in iron man just left a lot of people more pissed off than speechless. So much so that they had to go back and touch on it in Shang Chi.
I literally had to hide that I was crying at end of Infinity War.. When Peter says to Tony "I don't feel so good" and then vanishes. . YEAH lol 😂 I cried. . Hid it from my best friend and Father who were in the theater with me
I think there's a saying. Spells don't last forever. Now I haven't seen the extended version but in the multiverse of madness Dr strange still mentions spider man meaning not everyone forgot him or somehow the spell wore off. Also if i remember correctly only avengers knows him by his name are tony, strange, and danvers. The rest only knows him as queens or spider man

I was Speechless for a second or 2. Then absolutely lost it. I had been waiting for that for years.
Honestly I'd infinitely have preferred that the Quicksilver fake out never happened. That being said, it's why I appreciate Murdock catching the brick in No Way Home, because it confirms the powers, not just illusion.
He had powers though in WandaVision
197: Captain America: Civil War is the only marvel movie I didn’t see in theaters but this shocked me to the core. Plus, I love the fight scene between the three of them
Watching Ayo testing Bucky to see if the Wakandan deprogramming worked at the beginning of episode 4 of FATWS left me speechless. Sebastian Stan did so much with so few words......
The way Dr. Strange tells Peter he loves him.. That was a nice moment.
I remember so clearly when Keaton opened the door, It was like the air was completely sucked out of the theater. Everyone gasped. It was such an amazing plot twist that IMO still hasn't been topped.
Iron Man and SpiderMan: my two favorite comic book heroes.
And it's awesome to see those two teaming up with each other
The feeling i got when everyone returned in End Game was and still is the feeling i get from a really good live show.
Everyone retuning in endgame and fighting thanos is my favorite scean in that movie.
I have said it countless times before: Carl Lumbly should have 100% been nominated for an Emmy. It’s so gross to me that Don Cheadle was chosen over him. Even Don Cheadle was surprised by his own nomination!! Carl Lumbly was so freaking powerful and emotionally nuanced!!
wasnt he there for like two scenes only?
Thanks for including Loki, I think it is a hidden gem in the mcu and it had its shocking moments
There was a certain moment in the recent Guardians movie that left me speechless, followed by me saying "I can't believe they let him say that. I mean, I get it's PG-13, but still!"
Oh yeah I know what you mean 🤣
Spoiler:
I don't know why Two-Face complains so much anymore.
@@Dentheman1995 No. Not Disney's. That would be the filmed version if Hamilton they released on Disney+. I think.
F**k that! 😂😂😂
No. 10, can't wait to see how this is explored further in Season Two of "Loki"
I think that after GotGVol3, the speechlest moment of the MCU is Rocket’s backstory.
I got so many chills watching this.
The portal scene gives me chills til this day
Guardians of the Galaxy volume three, or just in general left me speechless
The scene where Cap said Avengers Assemble in Endgame left me speechless! And it still does!
That was a great list!!!! The moment when all Avengers reappear for the final fight with the music over the top!! Gave me head-to-toe goosebumps and tears in my eyes 😮😢!!
As much as we love Chadwick/T’Challa, and as much as his death hurt, Queen Ramonda’s death actually left me, personally, even more speechless.
202: I got surprised and shocked when the two Peter’s came in but the ending is a tearjerker
*• Moments in the MCU that left us speechless:*
20. Thor goes for the head
19. Kamala Khan is a mutant
18. The cameo of X-men Quicksilver in WandaVision
17. Liz's dad being Vulture
16. Quicksilver's death
15. Marc Spector (Moon Knight) reveals Steven's origins
14. The Mandarin reveal
13. Rhodey's fall in Civil War
12. Isaiah's backstory in "the Falcon and the Winter Soldier"
11. Ego both is & gives cancer
10. The Multiverse is born (Loki)
9. Who killed Tony's parents
8. T'Challa's funeral
7. Thanos sacrifices Gamora
6. HYDRA had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.
5. Blood on Captain America's shield (John Walker)
4. Illuminati demise by Wanda
3. Everyone forgeting who Peter Parker is
2. Steve Rogers is worthy to lift Mjölnir
1. The Snap.
5 years ago I still remember how everyone in theatre gasped when Thanos snapped his fingers.
Quicksilver showing up in WandaVision was my biggest POP....that was so awesome.
Five years passing in Avenger Endgame and Wanda being the villain of Dr. Strange 2 are easily top 5
Wanda is the hero of Dr Strange 2 not the villain
@HarveyDent13 Well, she was a villain at the beginning of the movie, but then she turned good at the end.
Cap holding the hammer didn't leave anyone speechless. The theater bursted into cheer.
Watching Tom disintegrate into dust was one of the most emotional moments I’ve seen in the MCU. Nothing but props for his and RDJ’s performances.
Isaiah is one of my favorite characters in the falcon and the winter soldier, i'm glad he got the recognition he deserves.
i understood ego being forced to take out the person he cared for a lot because of his plan and he knew she would die from it if something wasnt done and her reaction what he was doing is shown to her made me realize sometimes no exceptions are allowed and a sacrifice had to be made, which makes me see him as double crossed by himself and probably had a reason if he continued after “i know that sounds bad” but a consequence came up for how much Peter saw his mom as a worthy love and care
You know we were left speechless too when we found out King T'Challa had a son named after him too. 😢
Top 10 Best Guardians of the Galaxy!
Fleetwood Mac break the chain Quill vs Ego for one thing.
Captain America Civil War is definitely in my Top 3 MCU movies. At the time it was the most dark and brutal MCU movie. When Rhodey hit the ground my entire theater was audibly shocked
The dad speech made me forget it was a marvel movie and not just another Keation movie.
Great list!
21:55 I remember seeing Mulnoir fly to Captain America's hand, people lost their minds, including me.😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
God, the whole theater *erupted* on opening night when Cap caught that hammer. You’d think it was the Olympics or the World Cup. Still get chills remembering it.
Nice, another great list !!! 👍
Amazing.
No. 3, to be fair this handled a lot better than "One More Day" was, and this moment made Tom's Peter into Spider-Man from the comics from the early Lee and Ditko days and I love it for that 🕷️🕸️❤️💙
"Mr. Stark I don't feel so good" still gives me goosebumps.
The vivid memory i have of the silence as everyone walked out the theater after infinity war...
198: It was quiet when the movie started. All I could do was cry. Wakanda Forever, T’Challa
I remember seeing Infinity War in theaters when it came out
When the snap scene happened and even into the end credits, the whole theater barely said a word
I remember actually tearing up at that moon knight scene. So upsetting.
Chadwick.😭😭😭 He deserved higher up than that!
Still gets me every time when Peter says " I don't wanna go..."
No. 1, I'll admit it was surprising to see Thanos actually won in "Infinity War" at first watching it at the Century Santa Fe Station and IMAX the other heroes' deaths didn't hit me that much so it really wasn't that big of a deal to me but when it turned out that Tom Holland's Peter Parker was one of the few unlucky casualities of the snap and seeing him die in Tony's arms was heartbreaking and became my problem seeing him go like that and movie end like the heroes had actually lost after the movie was over I was crying all the way home and brought back a Spidey plush after that from day to night after watching that ending, can you believe that?
lmao you cried?
@@rcmanization of course I did, that has to be the best cinematic version of the iconic Marvel superhero put on screen that was actually done right
@@hunterrousseau3770 Definitely nothing wrong with being sad watching good movies. It proves that good acting was done for those emotional scenes.
@@toddsands6000 Amen to that brother, Amen to that
Aunt May and the world forgetting who Peter Parker is, is what left me speechless
Aunt May was already dead when the spell was cast
when rocket said “hurts” that got my eyes balling
199: I hate what Thanos did to Gamora. Hate it so much
193: Liz’s Dad was a goosebump, intense moment in the car but it was shocking in 2017
When I first saw John Walker (the new Captain America) brutally murder that Flag Smasher using the shield, it just left me without any words. Something about seeing blood on the shield just feels.... very unnatural to me
I know right i was speechless when john killed but i was more concerned when blood was on the shield i had no words.
Carl Lumley as The Mantis way back when... wonderful (chef's kiss)!
Top 10 Greatest Fantastic Four Villains!
I think the mandarin scene in iron man just left a lot of people more pissed off than speechless. So much so that they had to go back and touch on it in Shang Chi.
I literally had to hide that I was crying at end of Infinity War.. When Peter says to Tony "I don't feel so good" and then vanishes. . YEAH lol 😂 I cried. . Hid it from my best friend and Father who were in the theater with me
196: The twist in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, dang. Low blow and shocker
The rest only knows him as queens or spider man
I got to say, these 20 moments left me speechless the first time i watched it.
No. 17, yeah it was a real suprise that this version of Peter Parker's arch-enemy in the MCU was actually his ex-girlfriend's father
I love how much Phase 4 makes it onto this list! Thank you!
Where is the Spiderman Identity reveal in Far From Home?
Can't believe that's not on here. My theater lost its collective shit with the reveal!
