- This 2-hour film summarizes our week long motorcycle off-road adventure in the spring of 2022 which includes all the ups and downs such an adventure provides from the amazing scenery and beautiful rides to the bike crashes, technical failures and unfortunate injuries after bad crash.
ACT Italy is a long trip to the central part of the Italian Apennines, from the village of Bertinoro, on the Romagnole hills, up to the coasts of the wild Abruzzo by 5 stages for a 1160 km on adventure roads. Coming from the far north we travelled across the alps, through mountain ranges and valleys in sun shine and lots of rain just to get to the starting line of our journey.

really love the scenery, never tought that Italy have that kind of beautiful scene. Well overall KTM hold up very well in that kind of condition, compared to the GS that really had a bad time twice (or maybe more...)😂. Keep up the great work!

You really made ACT Italy look difficult. Typical road riders going off road on big bikes and struggling. Just like me😊. I did ACT Pyrenees last year on my t7 and it was much harder than had I thought. Doing ACT UK from tomorrow 6th May 2023. Apparently it’s very technical 😮. Ride safe brother.
Weather makes a big difference for the difficulty level of these tracks. Some parts are barely noticeable in the dry but can get hard on the wet - especially with the heavier ADV bikes. Enjoy our ACT tour 😉

The BMW Nav 5 on the KTM while among the BMW's in the bunch made me laugh so much. I can't imagine anything other than that Nav 5 unit sweating bullets like it's a traitor while on the ride 😂
😂 the little reminisce of my BMW days - the navigation unit served me well for many of my tours but had been replaced by a Zumo XT last year 😉

I'm going to ride ACT Italy next month and I'm looking forward after seeing and enjoying your adventure. Is it possible to name the hotels you've taken. They looked outstanding. PS. After watching the video I'm gonna put on Motoz tractionator Adventure tires on my KTM 890. Hope they can get me through the mud.
Have a great time on the ACT. The hotels we had were close to the ACT suggested start and end point: Agricola casa cucina bottega,
Hotel Garden, Hotel Lido, La Penisola Country Resort, Leo Hotel and Queen Hotel

Just can't get over seeing a BMW Navigator 5 on a KTM. Even the GS rider in the group has ditched the standard BMW nav holder and uses a mobile phone (with Gaia GPS?).
Well - I had a GS before the KTM and I did not feel the need to change to Garmin unit for a long time - I have upgraded to the Garmin Zumo XT for a while now ;-)

Hi Oliver, das mit der Airbag Weste hätte mich ja maximal genervt. Zumindest bei Held soll die Weste nach drei Auslösungen getauscht werden. War die Weste auf Offroad eingestellt? Gruß, Stefan.
Bei Helite muss die Weste bei 6 Auslösungen zurück zum Hersteller- das geht schon. Diese Weste ist für die Nutzung im Gelände nicht wirklich gemacht. Es gibt auch keine Einstellungen wie bei anderen Westen. Ich hab das in diesem Video mal zusammengefasst. ua-cam.com/video/4O7xjgOfCPo/v-deo.html
Ich teste jetzt gerade eine Klim Airbagweste. Die hat den Adventure Mode - wird aber unter der Jacke getragen. Das kann dann schnell zu warm werden. Heute waren es 5-12 Grad. Da geht das noch 😉

Just curious....have you ever lived in the US? Dein Englisch ist hervorragend und definitiv Amerikanisch angehaucht. Ich selbst bin Deutsch und lebe seit ueber 30 Jahren in New York City.......

Im Bestfall ist nur die Monatisierung dahin. Zahle deshalb monatlich für Zugang zu Epidemic Musik mit begrenzter Auswahl an Musik

For this stuff definitely. I also spend quite some time on long distance pavement where the larger bikes offer more performance ne comfort 😉

Ich bin den ACT vor 1,5 Jahren im Herbst gefahren UND es war schön UND weit weniger bekannt. Danke an dieser Stelle an die Personen von Touratech, die diesen ACT GPS zur Verfügung stellen. Das Video ist, dank der heutigen Mittel, aber auch etwas Talent ganz passabel gemacht, der Titel generiert bestimmt viele Aufrufe. Andy Warhol sagte schon: „In Zukunft wird jeder 15 Minuten weltberühmt sein." So ein Video mag dem Produzenten bestimmt ein Stück auf dem Weg zum weltberühmt sein weiterhelfen. Ich bin zutiefst davon überzeugt, dass gerade diese Art Videos dazu beiträgt, dass genau solche (wenigen) Strecken für Motorradfahrer gesperrt werden! Wäre es nicht möglich ein wenig auf "Fame" zu verzichten und sich stattdessen ein kleines Geheimnis zu bewahren und so die wenigen, wunderschönen Strecken vor dem "überlaufen" zu schützen, so dass man sich noch viele Jahre mit dem Motorrad in möglichst kleinen Gruppen, am besten zu zweit, daran erfreuen kann? Ist nur eine Frage von einem KTM 790 Adventure Fahrer, der drauf verzichtet jedes Erlebnis der "Welt" zur Schau zu stellen…..
