Mapquest is a frustrating POS. I guess adding a massive amount of back end programming gave the web developers job security, but it made the program a complete PITA to use. I don't use it on my phone because I have to map multiple stops and it keeps adding in addresses I haven't entered, that are hundreds of miles away and not even in the same state. There is also another list of complete SHIT that covers the bottom of my list of addresses, that I can see no way to get rid of.
Mapquest was amazing before smart phones.l but even still. I preferred to use an atlas. I can read a paper map much easier than The confusing way Mapquest worded their directions. I still remember taking road trips with my dad and giving him ways style directions before ways existed lol. I’d be able to tel him this route looks like it will have heavy traffic. Take this way to go around the city. Maps saved us especially driving through Atlanta and St. Louis.

Nostalgia, man. I'm old enough to remember family trips with a massive road atlas, so printing directions before you left was such a Godsend
it still is more accurate in Denver than Google Maps but the site is so damn slow.

I remember how confusing that shit was. Make slight right in 300 feet followed by a point 3.6 turn on .5 miles at the z intersection. What?
I used to ride motorcycles and had to memorize MapQuest instructions from south texas to Hot Springs AK.

MapQuest has Google ads blocking the view of the map that you can't get rid of, bottom line....MapQuest SUCKS!!!
