Specializing in birds and vegetation landscapes in NJ Pine Barrens, he is currently working on the protection of rare plants and snakes in the Pine Barrens, Manager of Science and Stewardship at New Jersey Conservation Foundation since 1989, trustee of Pinelands Preservation Alliance and NJ Natural Lands Trust and member of the NJ Endangered and Non-Game Species Committee.
