Fantastic wee session using one of my favourite techniques. Simple but effective. I bet many anglers had know idea we have such a variety of wrasse species👌
Inspirational lads, Mrs and I fished there late August last year, no baits, just a short session with the lures on our way back from Thunder in the Glens, we blanked! Will return for a day on the Wrasse after seeing your video.
@@angling360 Nah but I used to go to up to see relatives in Scotland and we'd often stay near the west coast near Oban and such. I've since got into fishing so it's great to see what you can catch up there in your videos!
Cracking video by the all rounders 👍What breaking strain do u use for mainline and hook length I’m going to have to give this rig a go Iv a lot to learn about sea fishing but this looks great 👊
The gear needs to be fairly strong, as you really need to bully the bigger fish. If you give them a second to get their head down, they'll smash you up in the weed and rocks. I was using 18lbs mainline in the video, but anything between 12 and 20 should do. I definitely wouldn't go any lighter.
My favourite place Gordon I have had my boat in there many times ye wrasse there in the rocks they eat all the limpets are muscles that's why they have the sharp grinding teeth ye rag worm and a we nip of squid to eep the worm on mate
i broke the uk and irish joint cuckoo record last year and put a 3lbr back without knowing the record was 2lb 7oz, got a video of it but it hurts knowning i coulda had my name in lights
Another great video that looks good fun on the float gear for the wrasse 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Thanks Dale, glad you enjoyed it 🎩👌
