Thanks for the video. I like some of your ideas like the blood tithe. I used a similar technique in a prior story, except of blood tithing though the blood of Christ was actually mixed with the Prince's blood making his faithful ghouls.
I'm running a Dark Ages Vampire game set in 1050's. The characters are primarily Viking vampires who have taken on the beliefs of the Viking vampires which do not believe in clans or the common beliefs of Caine. They are attempting to change history and take over the British Isles by using trade and military force. They have been encountering the Cainite Heresy and finding out they end up having more power in England than the Church itself. Historically the church moves in stronger from this point on in history so I plan to soon have the power of the church backing the Heretics without knowing they are heretics to be able to get a greater foothold there. So not only are the Viking vampires fighting the Heresy, they are also fighting the Church soon as well, not to mention the return of Mithras from torpor returning. Depending on how they do it they could potentially change history and maybe keep the Viking faith alive in England. There is a lot of neat stuff that occurs with Viking vampires in the timeline so I can't wait to see how this battle of faiths ends up haha.
I love "else-world" stories and alternate history stuff. The Vikings are also a big point for me. I ran a plot where Vicissitude was never created and if you dig enough into vampire lore you find that so much would change. Good times.
@@obbsheistone7879 It was interesting. At the end of a story I was running that was vampire and werewolf one of the werewolves had the ability to cause a minor mericle. I have no idea what it was, that was the werewolf ST's thing. Either way, he had met with a creature called a Plains walker (non cannon) and they slipped between time to see what the source of most of the worlds problems came from and it was the ritual that Enoch did with Tzimisce to remove his beast. The wolf caused the ritual to fail. No Vic. Changed everything. We ran an alternate history storyline. It was intence.
@@VoivodeMekhet oh wow that sounds pretty cool. I'm jealous that I wasn't in it now, so many cool changes and implications. Did you consider the clan to be like Old Clan Tzimische mentioned in the high clans book?
@@obbsheistone7879 The Tzimisce were set up as the Old Clan, yes. However, I had them join the Camarilla and not help with the formation of the Sabbat as much due to there being no Vic to devide the clan. I set up a group called the VCUSA (The Voivate Council of the United States of America) and had about half a dozen big political Tzimisce throughout the US that worked in line with the Justicars. It was fun because I was still doing a moch tried to the land thing, so they we all stereotypes of their domain. Like the one from Texas dressed in a while oil baron suite with a bolo tie and a big hat. It was great.
Similar to the others I'm not a fan of loresheets having powers that don't make sense if you consider others to potentially have said loresheet in the world, and make you somebody hyper special without limitations on who can take this. Elsewise while I don't believe in it, since it takes pants on head logic to think kindred are capable spiritual guides/beings for kine and even other kindred, it seems a functional blood cult, loresheet.

Nice story idea there. Mixing up the Church of Cain is fun for most plotlines.

I'm just happy to see the Cainite Heresy back in the game. It was always one of my favorite Dark Age things.
