I love this storyline, this has been one of my favorite games ever. I love how everything has developed so well, you have made such a world where so many of us can play our monsters and join in. Especially for those of us with physical issues and those who are forever ST's or Forever Dm's you have no idea how much I appreciate the things you have done for this continual Game.

It is obviously a re-imagenig (they even write that on the first page of actual text) but I think it is not imposible to kind of get older editions and W5 unified. A big part of older edition that was often overlooked was, that Werewolves aren`t the heroes, they just think they are and they did a lot of questionable or even horrific stuff and thought the goal justifies the means. And PCs were supposed to figure this out and fight against it. W5 has removed a lot of this problematic stuff. And here is how it goes together: Old edition Garou are orthodox Garou! they are the boomer Garou. W5`s Garou are gen Z Garou or more open minded Garou in general. They have actually figured out that a lot of the "old people's" claimes and ways are totally BS, but now they lack guidance and need to figure out stuff on their own. Thats why Tribes arend tied to ethnicety anymore, why metis arent a thing and why there is no sense for "evil" (the wyrm) anymore, because all of that were old people's prejudices. If you think of it as the same story told from a different, less superstitious perspective, a lot of things suddenly come together.

I think this power might be my very favorite, with dementation right behind it. Now that it's been described like this, I love the idea of a paranoid character that is genuinely hooked on auspex, and it feels like extreme sensory depression to be away from that feeling. Simultaneously a hassle by being too sensitive and too dull when on and off of the gift, respectively. Or, alternatively, a character obsessed with forbidden knowledge and is convinced that the voices gleaned from auspex are Fate dealing hands for them to share this knowledge or hoard it.

I guess I would be using all three methods os distillation, Calcinatio for out of combat proposes, specially if I need to use a dicipline "in public", anathon corporis for long lasting effects or formulae that risks damage a mortal and fixatio for single use powers or secondary lasting effects, like sweating poison while I emulate potency powers... 🤔

Hi Voivode, Fall of London was a clear example in terms of quality between books published then by Modiphus, and the love that went into the crowd funding for Chicago by Night by Onyx Publishing in their KS. That being said, Fall of London I felt was all over the place. You basically had to read the damn thing several times to be certain. After running it in pieces we used to divert back to V20 before diving back into it. Like I previously stated... ...a layer cake, if not an absolute pig to wade through.

completely agree. pretty over the place, but a lot of potential. I like the different story points and the overall thing, so I wish they would do like a remake of the book. (alternative a Fall of Vienna campaign always sounded fun to me). Almost run it but the pick up group fell apart before that. And sorry, I was less often here, I am still taking a break off the WoD. Got annoyed with groups breaking apart and if, I rather join as a player, as i have an idea dragging with me heh. alas, wouldnt know where. I hope to do halloween oneshots in the future instead, as I wanna try many different ttrpgs i got between my campaigns. i will still lurk in the shadows and peak in here. What I really love about this book is, that it introduces an entirely new aspect of kindred society. It is not just about Blood Sorcery and how you use it, it is also about what Blood Sorcery and TB-Alchemy means to kindred society. btw.: have you noticed that Koldun can be taken multiple times to get access to different elements? I also like that it is first and foremost a sensatory ability, that really fixed the V5 Tzimisze for me, since no all the "oracle"-type characters and the claim that the Eldest used to be an oracle makes sense again.
