- I love when Trader Joe's puts out a bunch of great NEW items like what they did this week. It just makes for such a good time in the taste test. This week my husband and I try the new Aglio Olio seasoning, shrimp/tofu spring rolls, garlic shiitake green beans,Thai coconut pancakes, brown sugar cardamom buns and dark chocolate covered mini pretzels.

You could make a dipping oil for crusty bread with that seasoning. I love your taste tests. I love how Tim supports you.

We love the frozen Cacio Pepe Spaghetti add some fresh basil and sliced cherry tomatoes YUM!!!
The price of the spring rolls might seem high, but just so you know, that is always how they are made traditionally in Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. They consist of almost all vegetables, maybe some rice noodles, and a tiny thin layer on one side of tofu or shrimp. They are never seasoned, but sometimes have fresh herbs, i.e. mint inside. The dipping sauce does provide the flavor.

I think they're absolutely worth the price for me. My local grocery store makes these along with fresh sushi, so I always buy the spring rolls, and you get 4 small ones for the same price. I'll be buying the shrimp one next time I go shopping at Trader Joe's.

My favorite thing is the green goddess seasoning and the green goddess dressing.
One of my favorites that I buy every week is the Lemony Arugula Salad. There's nothing like it anywhere else and I'd be sad if it ever goes away.
I love that one too! I like to top that salad with the Argentina shrimp and the frozen corn that comes with cheese sauce …. It’s a nice “ladies who lunch” lunch!
My ABSOLUTE favorite is the Cheesy Seasoning Blend!
Every time I visit, I buy 20 + bottles. I sadly don't have a Trader Joes in my area, so when I'm there, I stock up!!
I love the Cacio e Pepe frozen pasta meal, I add red bell peppers, spinach & broccolini to make it a bigger meal. So good!!
In the summer, I love the mango jicama slaw. It’s a great refreshing side or topping for fish tacos.
I love the Almond Croissants in the freezer section.

I love the (frozen) spinach artichoke dip with pita bread! I also love the chocolate covered marshmallows, the dark chocolate peanut butter cups, and the (frozen) chocolate croissants. My puppy loves the peanut butter sticks and the freeze dried chicken 🙂
The green beans with the beef less bulgogi and rice would be a great vegetarian meal. Can’t wait to try.😊

Many things, but I always grab the Scallion Pancakes.
My daughter is obsessed with the gnocchi Gorgonzola. We usually get 4-5 bags each trip.
Same with my son💙🤍 He's loved it since he was 3!
I just tried the jalapeño wontons and I’m trying not to go back and eat the whole box 😂 they are sooo good!
Chocolate covered salted butterscotch balls, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, and creamy polenta with spinach and carrots which was a frozen item that has unfortunately been discontinued. My husband loves the Chantilly cream vanilla bean mini sheet cake.
I agree with Katie those green beans were so delicious and I don’t like mushrooms either and I can eat those every day!
Chocolate Babka at Trader Joe’s is my absolute favorite!
Favorite Trader Joe’s product: Chocolaty Coated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers. Total addiction. Must have them in the house. Sometimes my local store runs out so I have to drive 5 miles to the next TJ’s. No problem. Well worth time & effort.

One of my top favorite TJ products is the Green Goddess seasoning mix! I put the on so many things. Among the discontinued items would be the chicken Chile lime burgers. I was really disappointed when those were discontinued.
I had to think about the one product I can’t live without from Trader Joe’s and the one product I pick up every time I go. The first product is the Marula oil for my face routine. I never, ever want to run out especially in the winter. My favorite product is the vegetable fried rice. It’s so versatile and I can use it in so many different meals. ❤
Olive oil chips, chocolate covered almonds, coconut whipped cream, balsamic of Modeo are just a few of our favorites. Trader Joes is full of good things.

Great, honest taste test, as always! Katie, I REALLY like that you mentioned it would be worth it to make the spring rolls at home! If you could do more of that with future products, that you think are good but not worth the price, I think that would be helpful and very much appreciated. Woth everything being so expensive, it's good to know what's worth our money and what isn't. I don't mind paying extra for quality, but when it's basic, non-organic ingredients, it's often hard to justify high prices.

Plantain Crisps, vegetable fried rice, chocolate Babka, Merlot rid cheese, fresh grapefruit juice & fresh flowers.
I like a number of TJ products. One of my favorites that I haven't been able to get the past year is the Foursome Green Veggies (i forget the proper name, but it's something like that). It's such a good green veggie medly for a nice veggie side dish. The cold pressed pineapple juice, caramelized onion cheddar, and the soy chorizo are also at the top of my favorites list. 😊

Our all time favorite is the now discontinued Hollandaise. I am still in mourning. It really was the best tastings.
My favorite seasonal products are the Step Up To The Bar snack mixes (spicy & regular) and the Platinum Label Cabernet wine. Our weekly regular favorite products are the rosemary croutons, which pair perfectly with all the TJ's organic salad greens (arugula/baby lettuce, etc.). We also love TJ's frozen beef Birrea, sourdough bread, and the quarterly Kringles, which are a fraction of the cost of buying them online.
Great taste test! My favorite item is the Greek chicken salad. I get two every week! Big hugs!
I got the jalapeno wontons but haven’t tried them yet but im excited! I’m regretting not getting the green beans now! I wish the spring rolls came with traditional peanut sauce.

My favorites are the pizza with ham, grilled onions, and gruyere cheese, the wine country chicken salad, and the Thai salad dressing.
They discontinued the Thai peanut salad dressing!! I have been missing it.

My alltime favorite was the confetti rice with lemongrass! I used to make a super chicken soup with 3 items...confetti rice, chicken broth and grilled chicken - all three ffom TJ's. Unfortunately, the rice was discontinued several years ago. A great loss! One of my current favorites is the Green Goddess seasoning blend. Wonderful on almost anything!
I love Trader Joe's Soy Chorizo! It goes great in pasta, chili, tacos etc.!
My favorite TJ item--a roasted red pepper and eggplant sauce/dip. It's in a jar on the shelf for 30+ years. (It's called Ajvar in Europe and Middle East) With a soft naan or pita to dip, it's been a staple in our house for years. I loved their rice pudding but it's been discontinued. :( Oh and I love their fiber bars.
Yes! I'm with Tim, feta cheese dressing was the BEST! My whole family loved it. It was my daughter's favorite, and we still haven't found a good replacement anywhere.

I just bought the Aglio Olio seasoning too. I added it to the warm olive oil with parmesan cheese with the brown rice yellow lentil spaghetti pasta from TJ's. Delicious! My favorite TJ product has to be the frozen spanish rice. It is so versatile and flavorful to make great skillet meals.
Love the Spanish Rice too! Along with Trader Joe's Chicken & Green Chili frozen Tamales! Absolutely Absolutely
The Pepita salsa is my favorite TJ’s item.

Yum! I cut the frozen coconut pancakes in half before popping them into a toaster oven for 10 mins at 325 degrees and they turned out great. Crispy outside and custardy inside. Tiny bits of fresh coconut and taro inside. Just like in Thailand!

The patio chips are my very favorite! I immediately thought of them, but couldn’t remember what they were called. Glad you showed the picture of them. My other favorite is the chicken fried rice. It’s great for a quick lunch or dinner.
I enjoy all of your videos! My favorite from the past was the black truffle cashew pesto and the poutine. Currently, it’s the chili garlic cashews and the honey duo face lotions.

I don’t think I could pick an overall fave but could certainly do so from each category! Current obsession is the coconut almonds. Fave discontinued product is the vegan nacho dip. My kitties’ fave product is the freeze dried chicken treats 😊

My favorite might sound a bit odd but it's the low-sodium albacore tuna. It's got a better flavor than any other brand of tuna I've tried and it's a very affordable price. My favorite seasonal product is the chocolate covered peppermint Jo-Jos.
Katie I resisted the picnic chips all summer. I am not a big snack person and always loved my sweets. About a year and a half ago I had kemo and my big physical side effect was my taste buds changed. I take a bite of a sweet and I’m done. Now I crave savory, salty, sour. Really weird. I finally got a bag of picnic chips at the end of the season. Ate the whole bag in one sitting. Fun taste test! I have so many favorites at Trader Joe's. I love their trio of soft licorice and have to stop myself from eating an entire bag. And also love the frozen 3-pack of jasmine rice.

Hi guys, love your channel and your reviews. Cardamom is a popular spice in Scandinavian pastry. In Sweden it is common to put ground cardamom in coffee. I grew up having coffee breads made with cardamom and I do agree it’s either like or dislike. Unfortunately here in Rhode Island where we live in colonial times we cannot get wine in our Trader Joe’s or in super markets.
Cross the border into Massachusetts. You can get it there!

Favorite is the refrigerated ranch dressing. I’ve never liked a store ranch before. I use it as a dip for raw veggies and dressing. I loved the green goddess dip. I was so sad they discontinued it. Thanks for the taste test and haul!

I love the Gochujang Korean Fermented Red Pepper Paste in the red container-has no bad oils and so delicious in vegetable stir fry’s. My second all time favorite is the Yellow Lentil and Brown Rice spaghetti pasta. ♥️😋
So many favorites. Vegetarian fried rice. Sweet chili sauce and balsamic glaze are staples and their frozen pad Thai is delicious
Food item favorites are Unexpected Cheddar spread, turkey corn dogs and Rustic Apple tart.
Non food spices and pet treats.
With the Thai coconut pancakes, I just made it as I’m watching your video and I did break off a row of 3 and made it with no problem. Well not entirely true, now that I had them I wouldn’t have minded eating all 9 of them myself!! 🤤
Ooh I looked it up and the Cuy wine you guys tried is from Santa Julia! They make other organic malbecs that I’ve purchased a million times at Mariano’s and Jewel (I’m from the Chicagoland area) so I can recommend it too even before trying it because it’s from an awesome winery that I’ve tried other things from!
Tim's spring roll seems to have way more greens....I remember adding fresh herbs to these spring rolls but can't wait to try the tofu one!

I love the Spanish rice, it has become a staple in our household, and we love the coffee hold the cones.
Fun video! Here’s some of my all time faves and I don’t believe I’ve ever heard them mentioned on this channel.
1- Kung Pao Chicken (frozen). The flavor/seasoning is great!
2- Chicken Chow Mein (frozen). Yummy teriyaki flavor.
3- Chocolate Sea Salt Butterscotch Carmels. So delicious!

Great taste test, love both of your opinions and find it very helpful and fun. My fav is kind of boring but I buy it all the time and that's the organic Jasmine rice. I add it to soups, stir frys or just a side, love it. Another fav which I guess was just seasonal was the step up to the snack bar mix with the honey mustard pretzel pieces. Yum I could have this mix as a snack every day so maybe good it's not around 😂

My favorite item for the last couple years has been the *severely underrated* tins of Smoked Trout. I buy five at a time. Otherwise my favorite (discontinued) item is the Thai Basil Eggplant. So flavorful. Such unshy spice. I miss it 😢
I'm a fan of their snacks/chips & the seasonal soups/Roasted red pepper tomato soup. Great video & thanks for all your hard work, input, & expense.

Someone else actually remembered this--I loved the confetti frozen rice, which has been gone for years. Lots of current employees have never heard of it. I also miss the salad dressing Tim mentioned, Greek feta. I like the shortbread biscuits which are seasonal. My beagle loves ALL of the dog treats!
I have to control myself with the sea salt brownies! Today is my grandson's 12th birthday and he loves them too. I miss the Greek feta dressing too.
The other favorite item is the organic corn dippers. I have too many favorites but I always buy these 2 items.
Hands down the Tarte d'Alsace is my favorite non sweet at TJ's. My fav. sweet treat , the chocolate chip ice cream cookies. I have to watch myself with both of those like Katie with the chips. Love your content!
