This video was so helpful! I'm researching how to wash my beanie boos and I plan on actually washing them tomorrow or the day after. When I was little, my mom put my large Waddles into the washer and dryer and it was honestly one of the most stressful 2 hours for me, hearing him clunk around in there. After that, I told my mom that she wasn't allowed to ever wash them ever again, and that was about 10 years ago now. I'm so excited to give my beanie boos the spa treatment that they deserve! 🐧🐧
Awe I am so glad! I have another video on a safe way to wash beanie boos in the washing machine too. I know I am a little late replying, but make sure when using this method that you are generous with the water to make sure all of the soap washes out! Say hi to fresh and clean Waddles for me 👋😊😁
tbh I just put them in the washing machine and dryer. I’ve never had an issue where their eyes get scratched. sometimes they’ll be a little weirdly textured after the dryer but only if I put a dryer sheet in
Ah yes, I *absolutely* need advice (and a tutorial) on washing my beanie boos- whenever I try to wash them, they either get *soaked* or get really crusty once they are dry. 😩 I'm trying this tutorial out on Peter (from my series, he's a little dirty and stained lol), once I finish writing this comment 💃 Anyways, this video is so useful! 💖 You just saved a bunch of bootubers' (including me) beanie boos from being dirty and having holes in them. 😅 I love how part of the tutorial was filmed outside! Another exciting reminder that summer is almost here! ✨ 🌸 Also, in the intro Safari looked adorable! Her flower crown and glasses are so cute! 💕 Did you make them, or did you purchase them somewhere? Also, your Isabella is adorable! I had one when I was little, but I sadly lost her. 🥲 Amazing video, Beanie Boo Safari! 💗 I can't wait to try this out on Peter, and perhaps a few other beanie boos of mine! 💞 Your videos are always so awesome and i always learn new things from them! 💙🍍
TUFFYYYYY!!!! YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF COMMENTS!!!👑👑👑 Thank you so much for this sincere and adorably kind comment once again! You always have such kind things to say and are so positive and grateful! 🥰Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day and life to sit down and write this comment... it made my day!🥺you are always there for me- thank you!☺ You are such a blessing to me and this world Tuffy!😇 🍍🍍🍍 oh! and I made the flower crown and glasses myself!!!
OH MY GOSH! this helps me!! thx!!!!! i will clean my beanie boo when it arrive, i got her from goodwill, sooo i will use that same method that you used just to clean the beanie boo. BYYYYE!!!!! ✨😁
i just used the how to wash your beanie boos on piper! it works a ton. hair drying them is 1 challenge but once its done its great! another thing you may wanna do is after you dried them, brush them! (dog brushes are the best) it really makes they're fur softer and fluffier! and if you want. you can dress them! that's what i did. it makes them look so cute! and if you want if your washing your boo and your making a video. Take pictures of the clean beanie boo and make a montage! you could also make the thumbnail before the beanie boo got washed picture and them put a arrow pointing to the after one but it has a question mark! (?) so people get quite curios and want to see what it looks like after! (cause that's me when i see a question marked photo on a thumbnail) i can't put emojis but i read all of your description! (took 4 - 5 minutes) keep on doing great content like this! we all enjoy it and appreciate your videos a load! Main Words typed: 166 Time took: 10 - 20 minutes -lea

Maybe Muddles right now, but my fav beanie boos change constantly XD I am really happy my tutorial worked for you and that you used it! It is a good idea to brush them after, I did that when I was washing Isabella and it made her so much fluffier! hahaha yeah hair drying takes SOOO LONGGG and dressing them is a cute idea too! It is like a whole beanie boo makeover!

Tysm!!I just went through a mental breakdown because I tried to make a custom(with the only slush I have)and made it look really bad,and when I tried this tutorial the marker had washed away.Ty again!
my beanie boo got ran over years ago and i was CRANKY. i still have it now. Its eyes are cracked and it’s still dirty. i just got reminded of it by seeing it and im now here
If it is a custom I don't think it is a good idea to wash it at all! The colors will bleed and it will get all messed up... Try to not get them dirty I guess? lol
Hey Safari, I'm so sorry for commenting so randomly on this video 😭😭, but I actually tried to wash couple of beanie boos yesterday and I'm DESPERATE for some advice. Here's the thing: washing boos that are made of Ty silk or VelveTy fabric is not that hard and once you wash them, they can pretty much look identical to what they looked like before you washed them. Yeah, as you said, their fur does feel a little rougher but that's not a big deal, so overall it's pretty easy to keep those boos clean. But then, there are those boos such as Noodles, Maddie the dog, Daffodil and some other lambs etc that have somehow weird, curly fur. Specifically, I want to wash my Honey Bun - she's supposed to be white but mine is literally YELLOW, as her previous owner probably didn't remove dust from her regularly. I'm afraid that her fur might change its texture and lose that curly look if I wash her, so I wanted to check if you ever tried washing a beanie boo with that kind of fabric? I'm sorry for bothering you but it would really help if you have any additional tips or experiences to share!
Hmmmm... that's a good point... I would suggest washing her and then maybe use a blow dryer to dry and comb her out as you are doing that, might help retain the fluffiness. I haven't actually tried washing a beanie boo with that texture before so I am not sure. If you don;t want to risk it you could always try it on a small place like her paw or tail to test and see how it goes. Also (I haven't tried this personally) I think you can use conditioner if you want her fur to be softer.
Thanks for the tutorial! Unfortunately for me it didn't work out because Anabelle's fur became crunchy, but I bet it helped other BooTubers! Also please let me know what Beanie Boos you're looking for, I have a bunch to sell and need the money haha
Oh no!! Maybe you did not wash the soap out well enough? Try putting her in the washing machine if you don't mind her getting wet all the way through, and then put her in the dryer because I am pretty that makes them all nice and fluffy! I don't do it myself, but my friend does it and her beanie boos come out looking super fluffy! (But ofc that won't work if she has a tag) So sorry that happened!! Also I don't really want any beanie boos atm...just because I just bought Loy and he was prettttyyyy expensive, so I am going to cool it for a bit 😂😂😂
oh my gosh- I need to fix my Annabelle so bad- when I got her, I cut her whiskers OFF and got her wet countless times, so now she's all stiff and scruffy and idk how to make her less stiff D:
@@dulaux7828wash her in the washer (follow safaris tut.) BUT FIRST! To remove the crunchiness wet her first and put conditioner all over her. Make sure you dry her in the dryer!
