My problem with blemishes are the lowered tolerances, as, at least for a beginner like me, is a deal breaker, because I will drop a balisong to the point of failure. Especially as I want to flip out and about, and concrete is not nice to balisongs 😅

I loooooved my triton v2, don't even care that it doesn't have bushings but the reason I sold it is that the spines not crowned or chamfered and it's super uncomfortable.. but the balance was soooo good I loved my triton, really made me appreciate shorter balis

Me working on videos consists of me being burned out 80% of the time, then randomly coming back in. My default state seems to be burnt out no matter what I'm working on 😭
I actually prefer my triton V2 over my squid trainer v3.5. I like that it's kinda small, I have a proto vortex V2 and they flip similarly, even though the handles and grip are very different

For a very expesive overseas shipping I got no stickers, they forgot to engrave the blade and both zen pins are loose. It's an amazing trainer... but I was very disappointed on Squid's attention with this.

There are tons of live blade balisongs, idk how you haven't seen any. As for a serrated edge, those aren't too common, but you can find some Benchmade 42s with serrations. Most of the time serrations are done my modders after the fact, since they aren't really something balisong flippers want
I loved my mako till the 3rd drop and it bent so bad it got stuck in the handle. Now I have to straighten it with a hammer every time I flip it which makes me never wanna pick it up. The fact they don't specify that little detail in the specs they just leave out "hardened" made me extremely apprehensive of their products from that point on. For a new flipper to have a $115 knife break in 10min really puts people off from getting into it. It's kinda fucked Lucas. Build it right and raise the price or atleast warn your customers that it won't hold up.
@Telestro Flips when it bends at the thin runners I usually do too. Those are thin and easy to straighten by hand but mine has a weird soft spot in the gills on one side so when it lands nose down it twists too so it's not just a fold it's a torsional thing thus the body hammer. Totally fucks the black on the inked blade and the more it does the softer it gets so im just waiting for it to snap from the stress of bending back and forth. It would be one of my favorites if it wasn't such shit but oh well... hopefully they change that sooner than later cause it could be great but falls really short quality wise

Handle bias will make Rollovers and Chaplins easier. Squidtrainer v4 is neutral so technically everything is balanced which is good.
