  • Each year, graduating students in the internationally renowned Mills College graduate music program present Signal Flow, an annual spring festival showcasing new student works in music and sound art. During the four-day festival, the public is invited to experience the latest offerings by student composers, performers, and artists who have taken up the Mills legacy of innovation and who, in turn, are charting new musical territories.
Signal Flow takes place throughout the lush campus of Mills College, located in Oakland, California, at the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. All Signal Flow events are free and open to the public.
For more than 80 years, Mills College has maintained an international reputation as a site for innovation and experimentalism in music.
