I clicked on your link to Imprint. I finally figured out how to search and then put Not One Less in my cart. Then I searched for Zhang's other 1999 movie, The Road Home, and the Blu-ray was sold out. Then I tried to access my cart and couldn't find a way to do it. So I closed out and got on Amazon. I bought both Blu-rays there.
Cannot wait to see your reactions to Imprint's July releases next month. The 'Directed By' boxsets are my favourite.
I'm very excited. Walter Hill, Sidney J. Furie, and Gene Hackman. It's going to be a like getting a free year of film school.
I was so thrilled to buy my first imprint items: the paralax view bluray and via vision las vegas TV show complete series. For the record, Heath and his enthusiasm for the label made me a customer of via vision/imprint films.
Not One Less is great. My husband and I watched it based on it being on one of those “best movie” scratch off posters. We have a DVD copy so we will probably upgrade. It’s well worth the watch.
Not One Less is an amazing film. I first saw it at an art cinema in NYC. I don't think it was obscure back then. And the Zhang's other film from the same year (1999), The Road Home, is also terrific. I've owned the DVD for both films for years. Time to upgrade!
Great update - this is a great bundle. Mine arrived last week and I've watched the Bounty so far. As an a fellow Imprint Completist I also have a mug - such a cool little extra.
Emily Blunt is one of my favorites for sure. She's easily in my top 10 list of favorite actresses. A Quiet Place 1 and 2, Sicario, Into the Woods, Edge of Tomorrow, Mary Poppins Returns, The Young Victoria, The Girl on the Train, and Wild Mountain Thyme are some of her best films. She's very versatile as far as the roles that she's given, whether it's drama, action, fantasy, thriller, horror, etc. Thanks, Heath! God bless and stay safe! I appreciate the hard work! Keep it up! The Bounty is very underrated! I saw it in the theater when it came out. I, too, have the DVD and, until now, the best physical media release was the Twilight Time Blu Ray, with very few extras. I preordered right away! Not one less is awesome! So is Damage, but, wow! Hard to watch at the end. Cheers! Looking forward to the reviews! I really enjoy your channel!

I just got this bundle today. Seems you got it in the USA quicker then I got it within Australia lol. But I am assuming they send it out to influencers like yourself in advance so I guess that would explain that if my assumption is correct.
I am looking forward to revisiting The Bounty and delving into that new documentary and essays within that booklet. It is a great movie thoigh I also really like 62 Brando movie and the 35 Gable film is not a bad watch either. But this 84 Gibson / Hopkins one is my favourite. I've seen Damage and Malena but have not seen the other films so looking forward to checking this out. And yeah... Bellucci... gorgeous indeed! 🤤🤤
Not One Less was not rare, it was in virtually every video store including Blockbuster back in the day. Damage, the film, is very good but Josephine Hart's original novel is great.
How does Malena look? My Korean Blu-Ray has a yellow looking transfer.

Many of these were a big deal when they came out, Damage in particular, but there's tendency to forget films as we plough on with lots of new stuff. Some of these are hard to get on physical and rarely shown on TV. Obviously the streaming services are awful for older movies.
When I was in Navy C School in Virginia Beach, I had the opportunity to visit The Bounty, as it was docking up and down the East Coast, in a promotion for another movie for which the ship had recently been used. (I think it was a production of TREASURE ISLAND.) Cool ship; a lot smaller than one would expect from various sea-faring movies (pirate or otherwise). I definitely want the Imprint boxed set of the movie; I have three or four versions of this particular story, and, while the Twilight Time Blu of THE BOUNTY is nice, clearly the boxed set has features that I would love to see.
P.S. You speak less of another very important part of the movie-watching experience ... your love of coffee. (Coffee is the Elixir of Life.) Do you have a preferred specific brand?
Was your Bounty experience around 1989 or 1990? I'm wondering if it was for the Charlton Heston version of Treasure Island.
The best coffee I have ever had is from a Texas roaster called Addision Coffee Roasters. One of my friends and Patreon supporters Kyle sends me a couple of pounds of their whole bean dark roast every year and I make it last as long as I can. On a franchise level, I enjoy Starbucks whole bean espresso roast, too.
@@CerealAtMidnight Definitely one of those two years. I am wont to say 1990, but it's difficult to pinpoint after a while. But I believe that, yes, it was the Charlton Heston TREASURE ISLAND that they were promoting. (I finally saw it, not too long ago, and liked it better than anticipated. )
I LOVE that version of Treasure Island. In fact, it's my favorite filmed version. Christian Bale, Oliver Reed, Christopher Lee...it often feels like a Hammer movie to me.

I bought a bunch of the movies you talked about in this video but, on Amazon at least, it says they are Region B/2. I have an all-region player so no problem, but your video says all Imprint is region free?
Correct. Imprint titles are licensed for region B distribution , but they have yet to lock a disc.
I LOVE Imprint but I really don't like how they've started doing those $54 box sets of single movies without doing a simultaneous $25 - $30 release. I think The Warriors is the only film where they've released both a box set and standard release.
