Takin Flight - i remember tie when he wrote Sesk Reds back in middle school days in santa clara- Carrillo and Buchser- used to catch the 60 bus every morning and he would be in the back- bus filled with Sesk Reds with streaks shakers and testors- dude set the standard for bombing here in Santa Clara-Sab Jose- I still see some Sesk and Tie tags around the city and the cal-train line all faded 25 years later- dude was a living legend in his day- now immortalized- R.I.P Jonathan Lin aka Tie One aka Sesk Reds aka Creative

Sorry to hear about this writer (TIE). I wrote in NYC in the 80s and can relate to danger and the possibility of dying because of graffiti. As I look back, I see how any of the nights I was out bombing or piecing could turned into a fatality.
He was hitting up in a not-so-friendly part of SF and as he was exiting down a scaffolding, a resident of the spot he had just tagged shot him in the back of the head as he was fleeing the scene.

@aDESlGNER why would he be stealing photography equipment when he could prolli steal from a store, and if u look at where he died it was very close to an easily accessible spot where any graffiti artist would have a joy to paint so I dnt think that was the case
