The Four Season’s hotel pool. Refreshingly quiet , super clean, nicely heated, great staff and away from the crowds at Mandalay’s pool AND you have access to their pool but Mandalay people can’t use the Four Seasons pool. Great views from the Valley View suite at the FS.
Mandalay bay hands down it's a money saver with kids!

I went the weekend of August 21-24th. It was great! I love this hotel and pool. I think that they do such a great job in providing a wonderful experience at their resort- especially with COVID. The water is great, not too cold- in regards to the pools and lazy river. The wave pool can be cold initially, but as temperatures heat up, it does feel great. You do have to get in line to use the lazy river. They monitor the numbers and crowd control. The wave pool is amazing. Not too crazy- people do keep their distance. There are three big pools, one is designated for Delano guests only, but sometimes you can sweet talk the staff to let you in- just tip them. :) The East and West lagoons are great! The west lagoon was more family oriented. Lots of parents with kids. I prefer the east lagoon. It was further away from everyone. More adults were in that pool and it was way quiet. I went on a weekend, so it was in-fact busy. There were a ton of of kids. You do have to wear a mask 😷 for the most part. The only time you can take the mask off is when you drink, smoke or are in the water. Mandalay Bay does a great job in offering masks. They have plenty of hand sanitizer stations and extra masks all over the place. If you go into the casino they have hand washing stations. I would say, the only negative to my experience was that bars were closed for you to order from. If you want drinks anywhere you do have to order from a waiter/waitress- this includes inside the casino. My favorite drinks in Vegas are the slushy drinks. So I love Fat Tuesday. Sadly it was closed. Minus 10 degrees was open, but they close at 10:30pm, so that was a bummer. It can take a while to get a drink at the pool, since there is so much demand and at times not enough staff. We went to the pool on Sunday afternoon and it took us about an hour to get a drink, cause the staff was so busy. Also if you are a guest at the hotel, valet is closed- it’s only open for the highest tier of M-life members. Parking is free in the garages through. Restaurants are open, but only during certain times. An example was Citizens was only open for about 6 hours, when it use to be open 24 hours. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience at Mandalay Bay. The staff was wonderful. The environment was great- for the times that we are in. If you are a hardcore Vegas traveler like myself, just be prepared for everything not to be open, to always have a mask on and to not come with the same expectation as you did before COVID. It is different now, but that’s not their fault. They are doing their best to provide their guests the best possible experience during COVID. Keep that in mind. If you can get past that, you will have fun and be safe. Again, Mandalay Bay did a great job at trying to make my experience the best they could during this pandemic. Hope this helps! Enjoy 😊

For the pools you went to other than Delano where you stayed, did you busy have to wait in line? Like at Wet Republic, Marquee? Or did you not test those out? We’re headed there next week and not sure if we needed to get a table to get into Wet Republic.
Marquee and Wet republic are dayclubs so you will need a reservation. The mgm pool I have heard is really difficult to get into right now

Yes the water is cold which feels so good when its 114 outside, but the lazy river water was a tad warmer

They probably just realized that paying a dozen lifeguards $15 an hour is cheaper than being sued by some drunk parent whose toddler wandered off into the deep end 🤭
