They got me on the planet... No wonder no one commented on that question. NEPTUNE is the farthest, but they said SEVENTH farthest which is URANUS.
If Neptune is FARTHEST, then Uranus is SECOND farthest. Technically Venus is the seventh furthest, and Uranus is the seventh CLOSEST. Pedantic but true.

I can already smell the arguments over the PEMDAS math one so here’s the answer you’re looking for.
Basically 1 and 16 can both be correct based on different mathematical conventions and the question is poorly worded on purpose in order to draw more interactions.
If we’re going strictly by PEMDAS/what you were to get if you plugged the problem into a calculator, 16 is the correct answer. However, if you were to apply distributive rules you would end up with 1.
Most of the time PEMDAS is simply assumed to be correct so I would say 16 is a “better” answer, but neither are incorrect.
Pemdas would make you go from 8/2(2+2) to 8/2(4) to 8/8 to 1, though right, or is the steps between 3 and three to go 4(4), because of left to right
@@zacstruthers1191 Yes you would go left to right making it 4(4). Multiplication/division are of equal standing, and the same goes for addition/subtraction, so you have to go left to right.
8÷2(2+2) is a trick question that's why it has 2 answers
if u think of this question as (8/2)*(2+2) then answer is 16 but if u think of it as 8/[2*(2+2)] then answer is 1, that's why in maths we try to use flactions and brackets for more definitive question/answer.

I’m sorry but this isn’t factual, PEMDAS stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication *and* Division, Addition *and* Subtraction, Left to Right. Division and Multiplication are looked at as equal in the eyes of order of operations, and it is a misconception that multiplication always comes first, but truly it is the operation on the furthest left side of the equation that is done first. One is a completely incorrect answer to this equation. If you still don’t believe me look it up, this was a popular argument for a while.
I don't know which country are you from but as so far as I know if you are "if you are stuck" between two operations of the same level, you should go from left to right ALWAYS.

9:35 Funnily enough, this is one of the triangles where you can easily find the hypotenuse without needing to apply the Pythagorean Theorem.
It's calles a Pythagorean triple and it's essentially just a right triangle with the sides in a 3:4:5 ration, with 3 and 4 touching the right angle.
So they could probably have just blurted out 10 immediately but just wanted to do the maths for the vid.

step two isnt a parentheses next, the lack of space between the 2 and 4 separated by parantheses implies multiplication. Thus based on pemdas, division came first from left to right so it should be done first. The question overall is pretty dumb and you wouldn't ever see it written like that at any type of higher level math
