Here's a bit of trivia. When this scene is triggered, the exact coding for that particular fight that has the (number of monsters, the monster's levels, their HP, SP, moveset, difficulty level, gald and EXP given etc etc) is "locked" and won't be spawned again until a literal week has passed.

Hubert is nothing like Jade. Hubert is really bitter (justifiably so) he is actually really unlikable when he first shows back up. He also lacks Jade's sense of humor. Hubert does grow a lot as the story unfolds though.

I came upon with one group victory quote where I was grinding in Fendel and used Dark Bottle to summon enemies. It was something along the lines of Pascal and Malik wondering why they've been fighting a lot of enemies lately. Asbel and Hubert were whispering to each other in the background that it's probably their fault [for using Dark Bottle]

Ragefat Hearts R have English subtitles in the victory quotes, though that game only has Japanese audio in it in the localized version. so that might not be the best example.
Peter47890 That's probably the reason for the subtitles in Hearts R. I find this lack of subtitles specially aggravating in Xillia, as there are a lot of conversations in boss battles and it's hard to understand with all the battle sound effects/music.

Yeah you got a majority of the quotes. Though you did miss some. I'm not sure if this is true or not but it seems when you equip certain titles on certain people at the end of battles they make quotes related to the title. Like that one quote for asbel where he's trying to help Richard, he states "This is the sword that will reclaim the kingdom." When he wins a battle.

and that is what it is actually based on xD THey even have their own Super Sentai Beach Squad, can't remember what it was called, but you can only find them in the hidden Desert Beach resort, and only as dolls... but you get a funny Skit with hubert when you get to them xD

it's a quote that plays if a battle last longer than usual. usually that means you had a hard time with the fight. Hurbert is probably referencing how badly the last fight went. Well that's what I think anyway.
