Kerala's Human Developrment index is far more than any other states in India. And Kerala Model is apreciable in basic Human things like Education and Health. In Administration kerala has centralised many aspects and decentralised the basic things! Industrialisation of all the sector is not a good economy, kerala have some limitation of density too. Kerala's Human Developrment index is far more than any other states in India. And Kerala Model is apreciable in basic Human things like Education and Health. In Administration kerala has centralised many aspects and decentralised the basic things! Industrialisation of all the sector is not a good economy, kerala have some limitation of density too. All regions may not have the potention of industry only related with the resource available.

1) "North India has been under attack while South was fairly protected" No invaders stopped at the Vindhyas. It was the lack of social hierarchy that allowed South India to come together to find an existence with invaders. While the North had high levels of social hierarchy leading to the lower social class being sold out to the invaders. In any case when we got independence, the Southern states were faring poorly in all aspects compared to the North. So clearly the invasion didn't leave the South in a advantageous position.

Dave Kautilya ..they talk about first mid-day meal scheme in independent india. If you talk about pre-independence it was there in Chennai too. But it is some selected locations. Kamaraj introduced all over the Tamil nadu state. I myself is the beneficiary of the schemes they did for improving literacy; the meal, egg, uniforms, books and scholarship for my diploma. I literally spent zero rupee for my schools and college. I'm not aware of the schemes in Karnataka though.
